1:00 on a Friday afternoon and I needed to have a nail removed from my tire. Although they were incredibly busy, Mavis Tire was able to fit me in and get my tire taken care of quickly. The cashier was friendly, helpful, and prompt and the cost couldnt be beat. A great experience all around. Ive used Mavis before and have had a great experience each time. I highly recommend you give them your business.

Walked into this amazing establishment and was greeted by this professional young lady by the name of Miss Cooper. Not only did she take up time with me to explain the process of what will be taken place with my vehicle she insured me that Mavis will take great care of me. She was very prompt, and courteous and she may complete Eye contact which is a biggie for me. Customer service was very elite and up to par. Order a set of 4 sumitomo tire wed oct. 27 2021. I was told they would be in friday oct. 29 2021. then they told me they would be in monday. no tires. then told me they would be in wednesday checked wednesday was told tire were not available. Very unorganized. Half of shop bays full of tires. Going to walmart and sams. Store poorly managed. When it was Kaufman tire store was well managed. Could not believe it was same store

Im from Tampa and I travel here from time to time. My first visit was great. They took me in and serviced my car within the hour. I told them I would be back because I loved the service. Now here I am a month later bringing my baby back for another oil changed and power steering flush. The guys are always friendly and welcoming and get the job done. I recommend and I come all the way from Tampa Florida.

The employees are very kind, but the service time is awful. I was there over 3hrs for an oil change and tire rotation. The vehicle did not even get pulled into the dock until nearly 3hrs had passed. This was a scheduled appointment too. Otherwise, I could understand having to wait for those with appointments to be serviced first.

Although the wait is outrageous, Mavis has by far THE BEST Service ever! We’ve never had any complaints after having our car serviced here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Be prepared to wait forever! They said oh, youre next....30 minutes....45 minutes....1 hour youll be in and and out. Its 1and a half hour later, Im still waiting AND they didnt have me listed as a tire change, just a tire check. If theres a sign in the front lobby about their hourly labor rate, one could conclude that maybe they take that long for a reason. Thank God for T&S tires right down the road.

This is my second time coming here to get an oil change and every time I come, it’s always good services.

Im sitting here in the waiting room. I had an appointment for my breaks and tires at 11:00am. I had my car here since 10:30 am. The time is now 4:15pm and they have still not touched my car. The lady at the desk said at 3:00pm that my car was next but all they did was move my car to a different parking spot. She also showed me her computer saying that the system double books.She even asked me not to ask about it anymore, that they will let me know when its done.Sitting here in the waiting room, I have nothing better to do now after 6 hours is to read the reviews.. I should have read those first.Now they just pulled it in, and Im afraid there going to rush to get it done because they want to go home in 45 minutes.Update: turns out they didnt have all 4 tires Ive been waiting for... so kinda waited for nothing. I just got my car back and the time is 6:45pm.. the store manager himself worked on my car and gave me a discount for all the nonsense. That was appreciated. But Id hate for someone else to have the same experience.

On Wednesday at 1:52pm, I found a nail in my tire. And like everyone else would think my thoughts were, here we go more money spent. I came in frustrated and upset, they were kind and reassuring and took great care of me.

On July 3rd we had a flat tire and were unable to get the lug nuts off . Three people stopped and tried to help but were unable to either . Roadside assistance were hours away . We called Mavis and spoke to Keandre and Perry . They were very helpful and said they could follow us to my car and try to assist . Eugene and Samuel were able to get the damaged tire off and put the spare. Those tires were purchased from Mavis and we will continue to use them. Tremendous customer service all the time but especially on a holiday weekend just as they were about to close .

Took four hours to put on two tires. Gentlemen was nice. Shop waiting room was messy and hot. Staff not that interested in you. Didnt tell us it would take that long and we had two boys with us. Will only go back if there is a warranty issue. Tires seem to be of good quality.

I’m very disappointed with the service I received from this Mavis tire location. I left my car there at 1:30 for an appointment to get a set of tires installed. We understood things were busy so we left the car there for them to get to it at there convenience under the impression that it would be completed that day. I had to follow up myself before closing as they were just going to leave my car up there overnight with no phone call or warning. I haven’t been contacted at all concerning a follow up or appointment reschedule to get the tires installed.Update: After a discussion with Bryan, Perry, and Cooper I realized it was all just a big misunderstanding. They went above and beyond to take care of my needs and helped get us back on the road safely as quickly as they could. I’m incredibly thankful for how helpful the staff was along the way.

I had an appointment scheduled to have new tires and an alignment done on my vehicle. They had to order my tires and were expected to be delivered the day before my appointment. I dropped my car off on the day of my appointment only to get a call an hr or so later to tell me that they never got my tires in. No one called me to let me know that my tires were not delivered and to reschedule the appointment. Instead they let me drop my car off for nothing. Went to another tire company and had my tires replaced the same day no problems. This is not my first bad experience with Mavis. I will not be returning.

Went in for an alignment, waited 3 HOURS, only to ask them to return my keys so that I can leave. A man came BACK after getting an alignment got seen before us and got his vehicle fixed within 30 minutes. WORST business ethic I have ever seen. They simply don’t care about your vehicle or your time. Will NEVER return.

I would caution against using this location. When my daughter first moved to Albany they took good care of her by fixing a nail in her tire. So when it came time for new tires I wanted to give them the business. This is where things started to go wrong. When they installed the tires they must not have had their balancing machine calibrated because the amount of weights they used was comical, I called it out by they said it was to spec. Well the next day when we got the car up to highway speeds I knew immediately the balance was way off. Lucky for me I was on my way to Valdosta so I stoped by the Mavis there and they corrected the terrible balance job. However while doing so they found that 3 studs had been cross threaded and broke. Again thankfully the Valdosta team was able to take care of this. Even with all of this I decided to give the Albany location another chance; so today I made an appointment to have the tires rotated and I dropped the car off at 12:20pm for a 12:30pmappointment. I was told they were running a bit behind and that I would take a couple of hours. I was surprised to hear a couple of hours to rotate 4 tires. I left the car and did some errands. I can back at 3:15pm to find my car still hadn’t been worked on. It’s not 4:20 and my car still hasn’t been into the shop. I’m sorry but this is the very last time I will bring my car to Mavis in Albany. Finally the workers is Albany are not dressed professionally like those in Valdosta, the person working the counter is wearing sweatpants and slides.Update: complete the job in 19 minutes at 35 seconds at 4:55pm.

I do not understand how the shop on Albany is getting so many good reviews. Maybe this is a place to drop your car off and come back later or something. They dang sure dont follow appointment schedules very well. Had my car here at 10am for 4 new tires. Here I still sit waiting at 5:50. This is absolutely ridiculous!!
