DO NOT EVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are master swindlers.I just got a car from them in February of 2021 and I have been here every month since may with an issue. First the tires going flat. Then they claim that my car was leaking fluids only they could see. They lied about the warranty coverage and then swindled me out of $200 for auto repairs. I will be trading my car in within the next week.Kia is not worth your money and the customer service people are NOT knowledgeable about anything. That goes for everyone from the sales people to those who service the cars for repairs.If you like to waste your time and money go for it.

Service was super friendly and great. I was helped by Marshall who was wonderful and very helpful for my front brake job. But sadly they took my car through the tunnel car wash which touches your paint and it severally swirled and scratched my ceramic coated paint. Very unfortunate they use the scratch tunnel at this dealership but besides that wonderful place.

I had an excellent experience with Destination Kia. My sales rep, Matthias, was incredibly helpful, stellar with follow up, and made me feel taken care of throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond keeping tabs on new/incoming vehicles, and helping me secure a hard-to-find model and trim. He was both professional and easy to talk to and had a clear read on what style and features would suit me best. I also had a good experience working with their financing manager, Adam, who walked me through all the details and made me feel confident about the purchase. This is a very nice dealership – open and airy and organized – with sales people that seem to collaborate well with each other. It also has a wider selection than most Kia dealerships (I believe theyre one of the highest grossing in the Northeast, which is no surprise). I will definitely be working with them again in the future.

Got brakes done on my girlfriends KIA Forte. The service was great and easy but unfortunately they have an automatic car wash that scratches your car really really bad. I can’t believe they have brand new vehicles/customer vehicles that they bring through their “wash tunnel”. It’s very damaging and puts very deep scratches in your paint. I never asked for a car wash either just a simple brake job. I know they are trying to be considerate and friendly by doing this but if you get your car serviced here please tell them to not wash it. My paint is destroyed and now I have to pay a lot of money to get it buffed and polished. I told the service guy and never got a call the following day since it was almost closing.

Who just had a great experience at Destination Kias service department? This girl!I brought my car in for recalls and a slow leak in my tire - Tyler Hess quickly got me checked in so I could drop the car and get to work. Tyler noticed immediately that my car was idling rough and suggested I may need new spark plugs. My initial thought was - here we go.... BUT after having the mechanic, Chris, look at the car he found I actually did not need spark plugs but found a less expensive solution (and a few more actual problems). The car is almost 6 years old and that is to be expected. Tyler stayed in contact with me all day and got the car done by end of day.It wasnt cheap but it didnt break the bank and I am shocked at how smooth my car is riding! I had pretty much accepted that this is what having an older car feels like but I smiled all the way home!

I recently had to get my engine replaced in my Kia. Luckily it was under warranty! Destination was really awesome about this. Especially Mike in the service department. Mike made sure to keep me updated every step of the way and made sure I had a rental to drive wile my car was being fixed. I really appreciated all Mike and everyone at Destination did that helped out with me/my car. My car is running like brand new!!

I leased a Telluride and a K5 from Destination on the same day. The sale went easy and smoothly but then we both realized a few days later there was a scratch on both cars. I was also missing a cap that goes on the seat lever. I notified my salesman and NEVER received a call back. I figured at my first service I’ll get it fixed, nope they didn’t have the part and will call me. Never got that call either. I already paid for all the oil changes and tire rotation services but when you try and make an appointment it takes between 2-3 weeks to get it in. I wish I didn’t already pay for that package I could’ve taken the car somewhere else quicker for an oil change and tire rotation.Update: While one of the GM’s did call me back to get my car in sooner there was still issues with the service department. The cap still wasn’t installed, I had to drive back out there the following day even though there was a promise of someone driving to my house to do it. On 10/2 the other car went into the service department for an oil change and my son was charged even though we paid $444 for the maintenance care package up front. When I called them I was told it’s not in their system. Now waiting to get this fixed. Do yourself a favor and avoid aggravation by going elsewhere for your vehicle.

Kia sells cars without a spare tire. If you have a problem with those tires, that is how they try to sell you new tires and make money off you!! Not to mention the tires that are on the brand new cars are cheap junk. Beware. Then if they cant make money from a new tire, they will charge you money to take the old tire and replace another tire, even if you buy it somewhere else. Money money, they are hungry for it.Their service dept has definitely gone downhill!!

I am located about 2.5 hours from this dealer. Sent an e-mail on Monday 8/30 asking for an out the door quote for a specific KIA Telluride (that was arriving at their dealership on 10/24/2021. No need for a test drive, no need to meet with a salesperson, etc. If the price is reasonable, I said I would call with a credit card and give a deposit. While they responded to my initial e-mail saying they wanted to set up a consultation appointment, when I said I was too far away to meet and all I needed was a quote, they never responded. It is now two days later with no response from the salesperson. This could have been the easiest sale they ever made.

Hes new at car sales, but already great at making the customer feel at ease. We are now officially a Kia family with my 2021 Forte and my wifes 2014 Sportage. I love them both! Unless something major changes with Kias, I probably wont be going anywhere else.

This place is a joke. They wait for you to get there before telling you that there is a 10% markup n all their vehicles. Then when they give you your trade in value, they come in $3000 under fair condition value and then they take off another $1000 for a reconditioning fee. By the way the vehicle being traded in was a 2019 with no mechanical or cosmetic issues. Just be careful.

Nick at Desination Kia was professional and understanding. In April I was set on getting the new 2022 Kia Carnival, all I wanted was White and have the functions and safety that beat fit my family. Nick understood my needs and made it happen. Sadly it did take almost three months, however that was not fault of their own. I appreciated the communication and the flexibility around my work schedule when my new vehicle came. Josh in finance worked after hours to make the arrangements for me to have a fast pick up! Nick was one of the only people keeping me informed while I waiting for paperwork. Sat and took time to communicate with me as a person and not just a paycheck. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thank You Nick for the new Carnival. My children and I are in love!!!

My husband and I have been looking for a car for me for a few months. We have been to dealers from Syracuse to Albany but in the current state of car sales, it is really difficult to find anything. We stopped at Destination Kia cold knowing nothing about them but just reading Google reviews. We had an excellent experience here and finally bought a car for me. We were greeted when we first arrived by a nice woman (I wish I got her name) and were assigned to salesman Jon Hover. He obviously has a lot of experience and knew a great deal about Kias. He is a straight shooter and we really appreciated that. We werent able to finish the paperwork that night because it was close to closing and had to return on Monday. It was a little. bit of a bummer because we had driven an hour and a half to get there. We went back on Monday and met with Adam to finish the paperwork. He was also a straight shooter and it was probably the most pleasant experience signing car paperwork that weve ever had. Jon had a family emergency and had to leave but Zack helped us get into the car and explained the features. We paid over sticker price for our Telluride but we had been looking for months and needed a car this week. We actually felt comfortable doing that because they are holding their value so well and they also gave us a military discount. Our only regret buying from them is that they are not closer to where we live for follow up maintenance. We highly recommend the people we worked with and are really happy with our purchase.

It was your general car buying experience, then trying to get as much money out of you as they can. Pretty standard stuff and a alright experience; however, be very mindful of their promotions. I have someone who referred me and they are supposed to get a $100 gift card. Well, it’s 4 months later, many phone calls and emails—still nothing. I went to the BBB reg. It as it seems to me there was some false prompting there.

These people are liars. We took time out of our day to drive an hour up there to look at a vehicle they said they had! When we arrived, they told us that they didn’t have it and that they just put the vehicle on line as if they had it there in stock. We immediately left highly irritated. I do not recommend this place! Nothing but a scam.

Happy with the car but haven’t received the floor mats we were promised. Salesman promised the car would be fully charged, I made it clear that we could pick it up the next day if they needed more time and we had to wait an hour just so it was 80%. Our charger was going to take time to install and my only request was that we get the car fully charged.I have tried calling, but after being on hold for 22 minutes I gave up.

Wifes car was no longer drivable and safe for our family so she did some research what she wanted for a car. Made some calls and Destination Kia called back instantly. Talked to her all about what they have in stock and went over car we liked. We made an appointment to go in a few days when back in town.Unfortunately by that time the car we were interested in sold shortly before but Dennis the sales guy taking care of us said hold on I will find something. He came back within minutes and found a even nicer one in our budget. My wife test drove and fell in love. Couple days later picked it up and we love it. Destination Kia again went over in full detail explaining perfect our warranties and also Dennis went over the whole car showing us how it all worked and getting our phones hooked up to Bluetooth.Dennis our sales guy was the best sales person I ever dealt with. Marshall Blakeslee is awesome! He is friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what was going to be done with our car even though it was just for an oil change and rotation. He suggested having the tires aligned since we’ve not had that done since leasing the car. We never once felt obligated or forced into anything. He explained things in a way we (who know little about cars) could understand. This is the first truly positive experience we’ve had at Destination Kia. He is a gem!

Apparently signed contracts mean nothing to this business. After waiting over 3 months for our car to come in they increased the price $1500 and basically said take it or leave it. We can sell this car for a lot more money now. Sounds like price gouging to me. I am going to report them to the NYS attorney general and the better business bureau. After an initial FIVE star review, Im posting a 1 star for the poor treatment of my wife, who was just there for service. She was charged over $200 for an oil change. When she questioned the fees, she was told well thats what we do at 15k. Who needs an AC filter on a brand new vehicle? Fuel additive? The upselling is normal, but refusing her refusal of add-ons is NOT okay. We will not be leasing from this location again. Hello Fuccilo.

Jake was my salesman at destination Kia! It was my first car I was purchasing because I just graduated college a couple weeks ago. I had my old car that my parents bought for me when I first got my license which was about 7 years ago. I was definitely due, but I had a tight budget because like I said I graduated college recently. So, Jake really helped me get all I want for the right price! He was honest and very understanding. I would recommend Jake to anyone whos in the market for a new car, especially a Kia. He knows what hes doing and he gets you in and out quick, unlike other car dealer ships! Went there to respond to a promotion and Had I received in the mail so I decided to go and put them to the test. The promotion had indicated that because I had made on time payments throughout the course of my loan that I would be entitled to trade my car in for up to a 110% of my cars book value I might get up to $2500 rebate, And the world couple of other incentives but when I chose the car testrovit and I expressed to the salesman that I wanted to make lower payments than my previous car he assured me yep we can do that we can do that. He came back with higher down payment than I had previously paid out, higher monthly payment than I had been previously making, no incentives and less than even the book value of my car. So not even near a 110%. To me it was very shiesty and a waste of my time. I definitely wont come back. 😒

I had an excellent experience. I came in for a transmission flush on my 2014 kia soul. The price they quoted me was the price I paid and they also took the time to look over my car and check for possible future issues. When you come in they write a time estimate on a white board for when your car should be done. They finished the work on time. Sales rep was very friendly and knowledgeable and they returned my car to me washed. So far the transmission is shifting much more smoothly. When dealing with cars its not always possible to have things go smoothly and as expected when you walk in. This experience was easy and as expected. Im very pleased.

After my 3rd turbo replacement I found out something was broke on the valve cover, they used silicone to try and fix the broken part which surprisingly held up for about 10 months. I wouldnt have know it, but I started smelling oil recently. Thats when I found the broken part they tried fixing. Called and left a voice message... no call back so I went there, I spoke with Marshall who immediately says and I quote It wasnt us. Without even investigating the issue or speaking to the mechanic hes deflecting the blame. He then continues to tell me they are booked solid and cant get me in for another week. Appointment scheduled for next Wednesday, I will follow up or retract my review once they make things right.

Excellent customer service for your car repairs, I like how they video your car in shop to show on your car is being serviced . They also show you now on video how your tires brakes look for you to see . Since you can’t go in the garage area and have to rely on the technician word on what your vehicle needs are. Now you get to see the problems in video, great way to assess your problem . I would recommend Destination Kia service also what’s great they have a shuttle service .

We went to Destination to purchase a car we had seen online. We had an appointment at 11:30. We were introduced to our salesman Mel. We are from out of town and Mel assured us that we would be able to drive away in our new to us car home that day. We got the deal done even though the dealership was very busy. The deal went smoothly and we were on our way.We went to get a bite to eat before the trip home after pulling into the restaurant we looked over the car as it had snowed that night and this was the first time we could see it uncovered as they cleaned and washed it before they gave it to us. We noticed a dent and scratches on the hood that looked like someone tried to cover it up. We were very disappointed and I immediately called Mel and explained what it had discovered. Mel told me to send him pictures so I did. A few minutes later he called back and said his manager would send me a paint pen. I replied that this was unacceptable. Mel said he would get back to me. A few minutes later Mel called back said he went to a different manager and he had agreed that I could take it to a local body shop and they would pay for the repair. I want to thank Mel for his persistence and willingness to do the right thing. He is truly a asset to Destination and should be commended for his integrity and desire to deliver a quality product.This would have been a 5 star rating except for the fact that the first manager wanted to dismiss the damage on the car.

As always, Destination Kia provided excellent service. They offered shuttle transport so I didnt need to wait. They sent me a video from my mechanic, showing my auto being repaired and giving me up-to-date status of work in progress. My service advisor, Marshall, was friendly and efficient and was there for me, if I had additional questions and concerns.. My repairs were done timely and my car now runs excellent. Worst experience of my life. I went to get a tire change. When I first arrived I gave the man all my information for my tire insurance. 20 minutes after waiting outside with my baby girl I received the email from them that included a video inspection from mechanic and in the video he stated everything was good NO TIRE ROTATION NEEDED. Just new tire. The service man finally approached me 30 minutes later after I’ve been looking for him to figure out what we were going to do next. He then tells me he tried to call the number for the tire insurance but it wasn’t the right number. I told him I just got off the phone with them and it was. He pulled his phone out and called them in front of me and it was the correct number he just listened to the first word of the prompt which says “Esurance” but the next three word were “tire insurance claims”. So I had to wait another hour for him to complete the claim all because he didn’t take the time to listen to the prompt. After waiting another hour he comes out to tell me that it went through and they were waiting on a tire from their warehouse and it would take 45 minutes. I asked if I could just make an appointment later being that I had my baby and wasn’t expecting this to take so long. He tells me my car tire is already off and they can’t give it back to me now. NEVER GAVE ME THE OPTION TO SEE IF I WANTED TO WAIT WITH MY BABY OR NOT. He then offers a shuttle ride so I could take my upset child home then comes back to tell me the shuttle is the one picking up the tire and it would be done 10 minutes after it arrives with the tire. The shuttle returned 15 minutes later and After another HOUR I go back in to check my car and he is sitting down and I asked what’s going on and he said he is going to check. He comes back and says they are lowering the car. My car is finally out and atleast 10 minutes go by and I went back in to check AGAIN and he tells me another 2 minutes. So I went to wait by my car, but it was another 15 minutes before someone came out to hand me my keys. He then tells me they’re not charging me for the tire rotation EVEN THOUGH THE MECHANIC SENT A VIDEO SAYING I DIDNT NEED OR RECIEVE ONE ;as courtesy for my wait. I will never return here. Worst service of my life!!!!! They are charging for services they are not completing. CHECK YOUR BILLS

I had an amazing experience at Kia Destination today. We went in first thing Saturday morning and I had my new car home by 1:30pm. I am thankful for Dennis, Rick, and Adam. Great Experience! The car was clean and ready to go when we arrived for our appointment. Ask for Damon Luton, he was very polite, courteous and respected our space to discuss the car privately amongst ourselves. He wasnt pushy or aggressive and was able to answer all the questions we had promptly. Damon also made himself available for contact after we left the dealership. We will definitely look at Destination Kia first the next time we are in the market for a vehicle and request Damon by name!

Bought my vehicle there a few years back with no issue but I would be remiss if I did not mention the service department attempts to fleece me several times within the last year. I understand lost business revenue due to covid, but that does not need to be pushed off onto loyal customers. Coming in for a simple service like an oil change and being told another much more expensive fuel injector service that was already done at a previous visit has to be done again is not okay. Attempting to upcharge mounting and balancing new tires after being quoted a much lower price is also not okay. I did not allow myself to be ripped off but always ask about service pricing prior to your visit here because it seems like budget deficits are pushed off to the consumer.

Im going on my 3rd Lease through them and every time has been professional, informative, and easy from start to finish. I worked with Jose today and he was great. My Kia Sorento broke down on the thruway over the weekend and was towed up to Destination Kia on Monday morning. 1st thing Monday, I got a call from Destination Kia with confirmation that they had my car and would take a look ASAP and get back to me. They stayed in contact with me through text and notified me when they had the diagnosis. They provided a rental car for me while they fix my vehicle and it went very smooth. The waiting room is perfect for social distancing and very comfortable. I didnt have to wait long but if I had, I could have been able to work or relax. Thank you, Destination Kia, service advisors, Rick and Marshal and Josh at the rental place.

Best dealership experience Ive had. I went in looking for a specific stinger GT1. Naz worked with me to try to find one that fit my needs. Unfortunately, the had no GT1s in the color I wanted. We did find a GT2, but it was out of my price range. The prices they were showing were fair and lined up with the research I did prior. I was also very impressed by how I was not pushed to buy. He did not push me to buy a car 7k out of my budget or in a color I didnt want. A nice change from my past experiences with a dealer. Once a GT1 in the color show up I do plan to buy from here. The sales service won me over.

Start to finish it was an easy process buying this used car for our teens. Our salesperson and the sales manager were great. My one complaint about a paint chip was fixed so expertly by your body shop its impossible to tell it was ever there. And when we overpaid registration fees, we had a check back within 2 days. With previous dealerships it has taken a few weeks.One small, nitpick complaint. The car only came with one key. It happens, people lose a key and turn it in with only one. The sales manager offered to have one made at cost if we came back on a day the Parts Dept was open. For a $5 key, I feel it should be standard practice to throw this in with a car purchase. (Heck, tell me it was a $100 key so I felt like I got my moneys worth in a freebie.) In the future, remember, sometimes the smallest gesture makes all the difference in how a customer remembers their experience.

I worked with Michael in the service department. He was very much a gentlemen and through in going over what I knew I wanted plus what I needed from the current service recommendation listings. When certain things were almost due or questionable, we talked factually anout it and he accepted my answer. Informative but not pushey. I look forward to working with Michael on my next appointment.I do very much like the chauffeur service to and from work. I have ridden with Rich for the past few years. A very good driver and a good conversationalist ! Friendly, up on current events, and a good sense of humorOf course the actual work done is dependable with quality parts. I count on that too!

I gave myself 24 hours to get my thoughts straight about how I was treated at Destination KIA.I decided not to bring emotions into how they handle their paying customers, but I do think its important to get out one word of warning for anyone who considers doing business with them in the future:Get your brakes checked!They finessed a set of brakes through a lax inspection so that when ~3 months had gone by, the pads on my back drivers side tire began to violently scrape against the rotor.I couldnt hear it, it was only on one side, and I NAIVELY assumed if you sell a car to someone, the least you can do is change the oil and switch out the pads. Or maybe give a heads up to the guy giving you 16,000$ that as soon as you drive off the lot, the damage will begin.They were condescending and adamant that this was not their problem. It was of little concern for them to make it right, even though I had bought the car under 6 months ago.They quoted me a 480$ repair, and since I was upset about the circumstances, they offered me a 15% discount.I chose to take my business somewhere they dont condescend to their paying customers and skirt liability.So, like I said: Get your brakes checked!!!!!!UPDATE: I brought my vehicle to another shop Ive reviewed. They confirmed that KIA didnt do their due diligence on the state of the brakes when they deemed it fit to be sold.ALSO, They quoted me 180$ less because I did not require new calipers like Destination KIA insisted I did. They scammed me right up until our bitter end.
