Great staff, they were very friendly and a nice shop. I only tinted my rear windshield and I feel like the price could’ve been better. Looking at the invoice I was charged for about an hour and a half labor but it only took 30-45 minutes for them to tint the one window. I also notice a couple bubbles but it’s only been a day since it was done so I’m expecting those to go away within the next few days. The lady at the front was very nice and helpful and the guy who worked on my car was friendly as well.

They were very friendly and professional from the call to set up the appointment to and through the install. Had a remote starter and windows tinted in my wifes 2019 Nissan Rogue and they did an awesome job and it looks awesome. Definitely will recommend to anyone that needs tinting or remote starters as well.

I had headlights restored due to oxidation, The finished results were simply amazing. It took about 1-1/2 hours (less time than I was quoted) and the technician was extremely informative and professional about the process and when I saw the final results I was blown away. The headlights look like they did when my 13 year old car rolled off the assembly line.

Quoted me $275 (without tax) for an interior detail. Mind you, theres no vomit, no pet hair, no stains, nothing crazy going on. I just wanted my interior to be wiped down, vacuumed, and my seats to be washed. Wasted my time and gas going over there.EDIT: Owner replied but I cant seem to reply, so Ill edit this review.I had a white Kia Optima 2018 (4 door sedan). I asked what a basic interior detail consisted of and the cost of it. You quoted me $125. Thats fair. Then I asked about the shampooing/washing of the seats and got quoted $150 on top of that.What I am upset about is that when I called you over the phone, I explain to you in detail how my car looks and I asked specifically what the work entailed and you quoted me $125. When I drove over there, you gave me a different price. A much larger one; the quote went from $125 to almost $300.

These guys are just awesome. Im my case, the existing remote start system didnt need replacement, just an adjustment. They went over the details with me and saved me a ton of money. My car failed the NY state vehicle inspection due to the dark tint on my front windows. Tint World removed the tint quickly and at a reasonable cost. They took the time to explain the NY law regarding tint and showed me how the window was tested with a light meter. I would definitely recommend Tint World for this service.

I purchased a used car in Rochester, NY (I live in Albany, so it was a trek!) only to realize the remote car starter the dealer advertised was installed but the dealer did not have the FOB to start it!I did my homework and ordered a FOB that the company said would work with my 2005 Pontiac Vibe remote starter which had been installed by the initial dealer when the first owner bought the vehicle. Every company I thought to call (locksmiths, car starter installation companies, etc) either would not program a FOB for the brand I had, or gave me a ridiculouy high quote, or wanted to sell me a whole new unit.When I almost gave up hope, a trusted mechanic I know recommended Tint World. He personally knew the owner for years and said he may be able to help.I raced to Tint world, which was due to close in FIFTEEN MINUTES. Not only did the owner and employees treat me with respect and had no issues with someone walking in as they were cashing out their drawer for the night, they programmed my FOB in less than five minutes. With huge smiles on their faces, they seemed genuinely happy that they saved the day! I began to cry with happiness when they added the words on the house!!Needless to say, I threw a big tip in their direction... and a great big bear hug!Whenever I need ANY service Tint World provides, they will always be my first phone call from now on! I Would never go back there again .. Your service tech obviously doesn’t have enough experience to get the job done .. your front desk representative was excellent .. your service techs forgot to fasten my spoiler and hatchback panel. water got into my trunk and cause water damage to my personal belongings .. Took my car to the dealership thanking that was a factory defect and was notified that screws and clips were messing I would definitely will never use your facility or recommend anyone my car looks great but when you get closer . you could see dirt between the window and tint . there are white water spots between window tint and also you could see the windows weren’t clean enough before the tint was put on ..

EXCELLENT work on a remote starter! Their work was so good & thorough, they inadvertently fixed a malfunctioning information cluster LCD in the dash of my Murano (very commonly prone to mysteriously fail in Nissans). No charge for that! We laughed... They also answered a bunch of other questions I had about tints and headlights. Highly recommended!!

TL;DR If you want good service and knowledgeable staff go hereMy sister wanted a car starter for Christmas, but it turns out my sisters particular car is a pain in the butt. After trying to install the starter for a couple hours, they found we needed another car key to make it work. They recommended another local business that had it made in minutes. Rick, the owner, waived any additional charges. So double the installation time, double the man hours, AND additional parts were needed to get this done and we werent charged another cent. I never do reviews, but since this is a car service and I feel reviews are a big part of choosing who to go to, I feel obligated to leave a review. After all, I chose Tint World based on them being one of the best reviewed. To begin, I called at about 9:30am expecting to have a list of available appointments over the next couple days, only to find they happily fit me in at 11:30 am that same day. The female who answered the phone was incredibly polite and professional. I arrived at 11:30 and dropped my car off. The gentleman who I spoke to was incredibly knowledgeable about the service I was getting (window tinting) and what impressed me was after telling him I wanted the whole car tinted, he openly told me the issues with tinting front windows (potential tickets, not passing inspection, etc). I then decided to go with just the back of my car since that provided no legal or inspection issues and he took the time to check the type of car I had and checked the legality of window tinting on my MPV vehicle. He recognized that I was concerned about legality of window tinting, as I told him I had done research on it and he advised on a smaller service for my car, essentially costing much, much less than I would have paid for all four. That, to me, is amazing customer service, catering to my needs and wishes, even if it means not making as much money on the business end. I left my phone number, and not even an hour later they texted and said it was done. Overall, an incredibly friendly, professional experience with impressively knowledgeable people. I will happily take my car to Tint World for any future jobs.

3 yrs later the bubbles around my back window is still there .assured they would fade with time...side back window started peeling off and dirt, lint under all tint ... for $300 bucks ( full sedan ) not worth it . Not contacting anyone but Id never use them again. They were friendly and got me right in but hundreds of dollars for novice tint job at best.maybe they got better but Id never use them even for a free tint job.

Took my girlfriends car there to get her windows tinted and install audio equipment. They did a great in both jobs. Especially since the audio equipment wasnt purchased in store. The staff was great and very professional. I have some more projects this spring for them to get involved in..they offer a lot of services and stand by their original quotes. All and all stand up guys running the show in the Albany location.

How much range do I need? Can I see my car in my driveway to know that its running? My remote tells me that my car is running and tells me when it shuts off. Perfect!

I could not be happier with their work. I brought in a decal to have added to my car, but it had arrived in the mail creased and seemingly damaged. After confirming the placement of all the pieces, the gentleman proceeded to do a fantastic job applying them. High quality work that I could never have performed by myself. I came upstate for my car inspection not realizing that window tints would be an automatic failure. I scrambled to find a shop to take them off, I went to Tint World and Rick was tremendous. I explained I only had 1 day to get the car inspection and registration done before I have to go back south. His shop was busy on a Friday but Rick went out of his way to help a military member out. Very professional. I brought my car to their store front this past week and had a great experience. My car was in a pretty rough condition when I brought it in. The detailer in particular allowed me to vocalize what I wanted to have done and made every effort to satisfy my requests. The car looks brand new, inside and out.

Had my front windows tinted to match the rears about a year ago and they are still mint. Was in and out in a half hour and the match was spot on, great place for tints.

Rick and Matt were very knowledgeable in all of their fields. Great at custom audio work, including boxes and built in subs. Amazing at tinting had them do up my M4 will post pics soon. They also have built in radar and laser systems which are advanced and best on the market. 10/10 would recommend for tinting service I had, plus it comes with a lifetime warranty for bubbling and discoloration!On my way out I was struggling getting traction in the M4 since it’s RWD and Terence helped me shovel and put down dirt to get me out since the plow guy botched his job near the exit.

Paid them over $300 to have a 2013 car professionally detailed, inside and out. I wasnt impressed at all. Interior was good, but exterior looked as if nothing was done. I was expecting something resembling showroom quality, and this fell far short of that. The exterior was barely even cleaned, with no gloss. Also, I was charged over $10 for materials. I left highly disappointed and will from now on only go to a professional detailing shop, rather than a store thats jack-of-all, master of ?

What a great JOB they did on Tuesday this is a first class body shop you cant ask for nothing better than Tint World. Very friendly staff and they have done a great job tinting the multiple vehicles I have brought to them. No bubbles and I received my vehicles back as clean as when I brought them in.

Here is the thing, they work by the hour. If detailing your car is not done before the agreed time to do the work, youre out of luck. I was trying to remove the bad paint sealant job off my car, but it take more time than they quote me. When my time is up, Im left with some unfinished detailing, not to mention some aditional light scratches that wasnt there before. God knows if they even apply the new paint sealant that i paid for it. I cant recommend this shop.

Made an appointment to get a new sedan tinted. Was quoted $270 on the phone, including $50 deposit to book the appointment. Was informed that this deposit cannot be refunded if appointment is canceled within 24 hours of time slot. Seems fair. Went over at the agreed upon day and time to drop the vehicle off, was told by the gentleman at the counter that tint technician was still working on another customers vehicle; these things happen, not a big deal considering I did not have other plans for the day. So far, doing OK.3 hours later, was told the car was ready. Checked it out in the lot before going inside to pay; driver and passenger side tints looked OK, there were a lot of smudges and water stains on the glass so it was difficult to discern quality of tint application. Rear window tint didnt look so hot: currently has a crease approx 3/4 of an inch in the top left corner where tint did not stick, also has several small air bubbles around the border of the film.Went in and paid for the tinting, was informed that actual total is $303 and not the $270 quoted via phone; was told this was due to material/supply fee and tax. OK, unexpected fee, but this is how it goes sometimes. Asked gentleman at desk to visually inspect the tint with me after transaction was complete. He also noticed the aforementioned crease in the rear window tint and proceeded to try and smooth it out with his finger. He then also saw the small bubbles in various spots and told me he would ask the tech to come check it out. He came back outside alone and stated that the tech was busy; he added that it may look better later when the film cures over the next few days and that the tint will be fixed if it still looks bad. As of right now the crease is still there, will follow up after a few days.Now the fun part...Upon entering my vehicle, I immediately noticed a very strong musty odor, which unless the tint adhesive smells like armpits, I can only assume was a consequence of the staff that was in my car. It smelled like a locker room after practice. This was very unpleasant as my car is brand new and did not smell prior to this appointment. It was so musty that I had to use upholstery cleaner on my seats to eliminate the smell...as I cannot roll down the windows because they have just been tinted! To be honest, the irony is funny lol.I will update the review after the tints have had time to cure properly, I hope they look better than they do now. Fingers crossed.*****UPDATE*****The regular tint technician (not the same person that tinted my car) reached out to me and followed up to see how the tints had cured. The side windows look OK but the rear window still had bubbles; to be honest, I would have been cool with this quality if the bill wasnt $300+, but with the hidden fee and the initial underwhelming service from their other staff, I figured it was worth getting some resolution.It said a lot to me that the staff I interacted with after the fact was concerned about and invested in customer satisfaction. I returned the car 3 weeks later and was fortunately able to get an appointment the same day. Rick and Kos were very receptive to my concern and Kos did the removal and retinting himself. It took a little while, but I always appreciate quality of work over a quick and careless job. The new tint applied to the rear window looks WAY better than the previous tint, so I am confident this one will look decent in the coming weeks. When he gave the car back, the window wasnt all smudged up and dirty like last time. You can tell people care about the quality of their work when they treat your stuff respectfully.Low and behold, the vehicle now smells like citrus and not body odor lol which is perfectly fine with me.Overall the total experience could have been better, but I GREATLY APPRECIATE the customer service I received from Kos and Rick after the initial appointment. I would recommend giving them business if youre in the market for window tints.Big shout out to Kos for his professionalism and courtesy. Thank you, man!

Daughter and friend went to another tint store by mistake on the day of my appointment here. They wouldnt refund the $50 deposit even though we were only an hour late. They could have worked on it for 2 of the 3 hours left but chose not to. Said we could reschedule after we drove an hour home but said we would have to repay the $50 deposit. Plus they were very rude and would not work with us. Very disappointed. Would never recommend this place to anyone!

Unlike buying a car, this was one of my best experiences in my 74 years.I have been looking for someone to install a inverter in my 2017 Kia Sorento and after looking for eight months and than came TINT and Matt. Now my wife is happy not having to worry about her oxygen supply when away from our HOME. Very satisfied.

Honesty and integrity are very important to me ... That being said, I brought my 2006 Honda Element into the Albany, NY branch of Tint World with a electrical problem that drained my cars battery almost daily ... I had surmised before I brought my car in that the issue was based on a bad wiring job of a remote start module that had been performed in a car audio store in Brooklyn a year earlier ... the techs examined the car and concluded the same thing, but THEY had the technical ability to fix it ... and they did! ... It took them an hour and all they billed me for was one hours labor ... I could have easily been told that the problem was more complicated and billed me accordingly ... but they didnt ... Did I say that the car was fixed correctly and I had a complete diagnosis concerning the problem? ... Professional? ... Yup! ... Honest? ... Yup! ... Would I go there again? ... Most definitely!

Called ahead to see if Tint World could solve a bluetooth problem I was having in my beloved (old) BMW and Matt said come on down and well see what we can do. When I got there he took the time to go online to find the manual for my malfunctioning after-market MP3/iphone hook-up (installed by another audio place out of state). Within minutes he had diagnosed and fixed the problem. In the short time I was there I could tell that these guys know car audio (and cars, too!). Id go there for anything they do (and their detailing prices are really reasonable, so thats my next plan). Cant recommend Matt highly enough. A great experience!

My CD player stopped working in my older CRV. I still wanted to have a CD player. Someone suggested Tint World. I made an appointment the day after calling and I have a new CD player with bluetooth capability. The price was extremely reasonable. The sound is so much better than my previous CD player and now I have bluetooth! While I was there Dave noticed my headlights looked dull. He asked me if I had trouble driving at night. I told him I did. He said he could take off the accumulated dirt. He did one headlight and showed me what he did. I could not believe the difference! It looked like I had new headlights. I am very impressed with the service I received at Tint World. Will definitely return there again and I highly recommend them. Dave also made sure my phone was paired with bluetooth before I left. Excellent at installing remote starters and tint for car windows

Avoid this company at all costs. Their so called “discount/competitive pricing” is a potential damage to your car and your time and potential cost for about $2500. They installed a car starter in my car, after which my car would fail to start manually with a key, prompting me to use the remote starter each time. Took it back, they could not figure it out, and took the starter out and the car ignition system was starting with key with no problem. Asked for refund, because at that point it was obvious, it was the car starter that they installed that was causing problem, but they refused, claiming that unless it is proven it was due to their negligence during the installation, they would not refund. Told me to go to the dealer and get it inspected and if it turns out that the failing part is the part they were working on, then they will refund and refund the inspection costs (LIES!). The dealership could not even run inspection due to them messing up the dash harness system. So my car was not even communicating with ECU. Since the problem started after they have installed CS, they were the last ones tapping dash harness. Of course they refused to admit that claiming it is a mere coinsidence. Since computer diagnostics cannot be performed the harness system has to be taken apart (a 6 hour labor) and they have to test and examine wire by wire, It is expensive, but crucial step to be done, because it is dangerous to drive the car with messed up dash harness system. Up untill now, they are adamant that it was not their fault. Stay tuned, i will be producing all documents, because they inspection will be done! but again AVOID THIS SCAMMING PLACE! it is not worth your precious peace of mind, nerve cells firing chaotically, your day(s) off trying to resolve it and their brick faces when you voice your concerns, one star is not even anywhere close to the negative experience i am still bearing.answer to Tint World’s reply:their techs are lying! I took the car to the specific dealership and at the dealership they have told me that the car is not possible to inspect. the reason it is not possible to inspect is because the car’s dash harness system is not communicating to the computer device that is used to read out codes from the car. The car had no problem with dash harness (proven by oil change inspection documents prior to Car starter installation). so right after they worked on my car, my car all of a sudden failed to start. Tint World is claiming that it is a coincidence. IT IS NOT! the car is new. and have passed all necessary inspection points. those prior inspections would not be possible if the dash harness was damaged prior Tint World Mechanic touching it. The problem started right after they worked on my car! the damages involve 6 hour labor to test each wire (that Tint world messed up) and if that is proven to be faulty the dash harness needs to be replaced ( $1700.00) plus labor. Tint World at this point is claiming that inspection did not show anything. NO, the inspection is not possible at this time due to them damaging the system that would allow the car to talk to the diagnostics computer. I was entitled for refund for the key starter to begin with, which they gave me with a big fight as soon as the Dealership pointed out that the part they messed with is not performing now. so at this point, their refund for the key starter is nowhere around the damages that they have inflicted on my car!

I had my car tinted here back in 2014. I paid top dollar for the best tint and a lifetime warrantee. The first tint job wasnt very good, it was super bubbly. I called to have it redone, they said the guy who was working there was fired because he wasnt doing a good job. I got my car tinted the second time for free (because of the warrantee and bad 1st time). That time was much better, but there are still small bubbles in places. In fact, I brought it back again because the passenger window was too bad for my liking, Im anal, and if Im spending over $250 for tints it better be perfect. So I got that window done again. There are still small bubbles in places that are probably hard to press to get out, Id give them a B for quality of tint job. Also, the tint is about 1 year old now and has noticeable scratch marks from the window going up and down. I thought this special tint was guaranteed not to scratch? Im a little disappointed but they do have decent customer service (I dont think they were happy to re-tint my vehicle but company policy gave them no choice). I chose TintWorld because they are a company with stores all over the U.S. and probably wont go out of business anytime soon, therefore they have to stand behind their warrantee, so although not perfect quality, I would recommend them just because of their warantee.

Had them install a remote starter in my daughters car this past winter. I messed up and showed up on the wrong day, but they still managed to fit us in. Starter works great.

Went in there for a warranty window tint replace, only took 15 minutes! I will bring my future vehicles here for sure!
