Hands down the best place in the Hudson Valley/Albany and its environs for getting your European auto repaired. They keep My 1999 BMW Z3 running like a newborn baby. Great work! Ive had my car service there twice with excellent results. Dealerships diagnose well bc the machine does it but their work is often lacking, as they have 1 or 2 good and 10 not so good mechanics. European seems to have all good ones and for a better price.

I have found my shop for my mini! Everyone knows European cars cost a ton to fix, so it’s really important to have a mechanic that you trust. Oleg and Maria where recommended to me by a friend, and now I recommend them to my friends! They are honest, wonderful to deal with, and good at what they do.

I went there to get my car fixed and they made it even worse and told me I have to pay it and than I left and had a screw in my tire and they said it was from before and like they couldn’t even say I’m sorry and etc. mind you that I just paid 2,330$ and this is the service I get and customer appreciation.

I’ve been around mechanics and garages since I was a kid and this is a very fair and honest establishment that knows how to fix cars well. No BS, no racking up a bill. I go there for all maintenance and repairs. They even washed my car after they had it for a few days while doing a major repair.If you have a German car don’t go to a regular mechanic. You need experts like these guys that know what they’re doing and will fix it right the first time. Highly recommended!

I found this place by chance after having a very terrible experience with the local BMW repair shop. The service guys as well as the young lady in the office are very professional, courteous and kind. European Auto went above and beyond what they had to do for me and thats something you just dont get today not even from the big names. Service was exceptional and so was my whole experience in dealing with them. I would recommend anyone who has a German vehicle and wishes to not break the bank go here before you go anywhere else. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely will. Honestly and truthfully no disappointments.

Got referred to here by mechanic who called ahead about coding abs module. Soon as I walked in I was treated like I knew nothing and was told I that the part is plug and play. Mercedes website states it needs to be coded. After proceeded to tell me he won’t work on my car and that if my mechanic knew everything why he didn’t do it. Then tells me he won’t work and my car yelling at me. Craziest experience I’ve ever had at a mechanic shop. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

When it comes to finding a good mechanic that knows his stuff and doesnt pull you around, Oleg is the man! His knowledge of euro cars is amazing! If something goes wrong with your car Marina can get you fast! If you ever buy a used car or looking at a used car, have them look at it. A year ago I bought a used BMW X1 and took it European rapiers and found out the dealer fail to mention the car needed new brakes. When I confronted the dealer with this information they were forced to put new brakes on for free. Also if you buy the parts you want for your car, Oleg will install them. That is one thing most places wont do. Last but not least they tell you what needs to be done now vs what can be done later. It doesnt feel like they are trying to take advantage of you, that is so rare to find these days.

Quick repairs good prices

I have had two cars serviced here, a Mini Cooper and a BMW. The service is always performed quickly, correctly and at extremely reasonable prices. As long as I have vehicles that European Repairs work on (i.e.German or German owned), I will keep giving them my business.

Only place I will bring my BMW!! They are thorough and have very reasonable rates. I first brought my car there for a software update, which they charged HALF of what one dealer quoted and almost a third of another.

Oleg is very knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in his work. Head and shoulders above the poor workmanship and service offerred at local import dealers. Cheaper as well!!

European Repairs I have done business with for approximately six years. The owners, Oleg and Marina, go above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle is well taken care of using OEM parts. AND they make sure I can drop my vehicle off with convenience of driving me to work. They have earned my trust and business. P.S. I have purchased a second vehicle and will be scheduling a visit with them to get my new vechicle on board with an excellent maintenance program!

Dissapointed when I found out my plugs coils struts and engine seals were never replaced as I was billed and I paid for the their full hr labor rate, Stay away *They did a good job with window regulators. Now unsure if they ever changed my oil & filters Would not go back

I had my car towed there, when I called I got no answer & I was not able to leave a msg because there phone is not set up to leave a message. When I called again to tell them I was not getting the car fixed, that I was having it towed out of there Maria said ok, but you have a bill. I said fine tell me how much & I will pay it now. She said that the bill was not ready!!! I said call me back when you have it. Mean while the tow truck hot there & they would not release the car because the bill was not paid.... I tried paying it. It took from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to finally get my out of there. The office is not organized or efficient & Oleg tried telling me three were many things wrong with the car when the ONLY thing wrong is it needs a new alternator. I WOULD NEVER go back there!!!

Horrific!!!! Charged me a sudden diagnostic fee of $100. The shop was recommended to me by a reputatble shop in the area who had already diagnosed the problem. The other shop said Euro auto could possible save me money. They quoted me double what my friendly shop told me and expected 100 to do so! I explained that I already knew what was wrong and I was coming from a shop who highly reccommended them. In fact, the other shop said they had a great working relationship with European auto. She said, “read the sign on the door, $100 diagnostic fee”. You mean, the sign in your office that I did not enter until I went to get my keys? Prices are very similar to the dealership and customer service is abysmal. I called back and she said they do not do refunds. I threw my money away to find out what I already knew, and from a shop that reccomnended them with a friendly working relationship! Can’t say enough about how awful the service is. I vow to redirect anyone looking for foreign car service far far away from this atrocious garage.You say I requested a full diagnostic, ha! I’ve brought the vehicle to two other reputable shops in the area and that phrase was never uttered and I was NEVER charged for a skilled mechanic to look at my vehicle. I would never have even called your shop had my mechanic not recommended oleg. When I called that shop back, they were shocked at how you treated me. It never occurred to you that you may inform your customers of a diagnostic fee? Maybe they would not like you to work on their vehicle after they get a taste of your service. Now you insult me by saying if I can’t afford to throw my money in the garbage by allowing you to steal it from me then I shouldn’t drive a mercedes? I see, you must only approve of a certain level of wealth as it pertains to your clientele. Unprofessional and elitist, please...tell us more about your shop!

I have brought my vehicles to European Repairs on several occasions, and couldn’t be happier with the service I experienced and the quality of work.The techs will personally speak to you regarding the work they are performing. They will also seek your input when applicable, so that the job is done to your expectations.Perhaps the best thing I can say about European Repairs is this:I bought my ‘12 VW GLI in to this shop a few years back, after it started throwing a code when just outside of the factory powertrain warranty.The techs did a scan, and found the problem. After reviewing available literature from VW, they advised me to take it to a VW dealer, as VW had issued a TSB for the problem, and the repairs would be covered under warranty by VW!Such honesty deserves commendation!Your Euro will be in good hands with Oleg and his staff!

Deisal fuel was accedently put in my Mercedes Benz 300 fuel tank and I actually drove from Rensselaerville New York to Albany .My car died when I arrived in Albany.I was in a complete panic and the police officers at the courthouse as well as the towing company told me to contact European Repairs.I did not arrive until nearly 5 at closing .Marina and Otto took immediate hold of my serious situation .They were closing,I had never been there before and they took care of me as if I were the governor .I was sure it was over for my Benz .Marina calmed me down and said she would call tomorrow morning, she did .They had completely removed the fuel tank, sent for new spark plugs, washed the engine and it started! This was accomplished by 1:00pm the next day .Aside from the fact no one believes this story so I show them the receipt,and that my Mercedes 300 ran after driving it on deisal (it really did,not great but it got there )they saved my car and life that day .When I arrived Marina had shown me the spark plugs and all of the deisal in trays plus they had to send for new spark plugs .These re the most amazing and technically gifted individual aside from doing g something do extrodinary for a person whom they had never serviced before .I will not even go into the complete fairness of there price .I would never allow anyone else to service my car .They are the best there is .Jeanne-Marie Lusk

Had work done, The office manager MARINA is a nightmare, and a snake. Spent thousands there until they mounted a set of BBS wheels didnt take the TPS sensors out and had to be remounted by Mavis, And didnt want to refund 50 dollars for their error. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND THEY ARE SO SLOW TAKES WEEKS TO GET WORK DONE.
