After two short years our LG dryer decided it wanted to be sad and break down on us. I called Cooks and they were prompt in getting back with me with an appointment to have it looked at. The technician, Matt, called ahead of time and was here exactly when they stated he would be (between 1-3pm). He was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and was able to diagnose the issue and get me a reasonable quote for repair. Impressed by the service and care he provided. Call these guys if you need appliance work done!

The employees with whom I have dealt have always been professional and efficient. They make an appointment and always come at the specified time. They even call 15 minutes before arriving to confirm their arrival. They call back to check to make sure the repair is still corrected.

Two $79 service charges and a $360 repair later problem is still there. The second service call which was just outside of the labor warranty window. I was told the bearings that were replaced by Cooks were under warranty but would cost $125 labor to replace them again and this would most likely not fix my problem because what I really needed was to replace the tub which would run around $600. So my problem was misdiagnosed originally no help was given to compensate for this and I’ve spent $518 to hear this screeching grinding sound every time we wash clothes.Contacted me directly and corrected the issue after the original review.

Jason came to service my refrigerator. He was so helpful and friendly it was a pleasure just to meet him. I have never such good advice and information from a service repairman before.

I have nothing but positive things to say for Cooks appliance. They communicate when they enroute, reschedule appointment promptly. They were honest not pushing anything that not needed. Jason is professional, punctual, overall 5 stars for him too.

On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, my refrigerator stopped working after thunderstorms rolled through the area. I called Cooks and they were able to get a repairman out on Friday, July 2nd. When Matt arrived, he was courteous and efficient in finding the problem. Several parts needed to be ordered. After 4 visits, 6 parts and $530 dollars, my refrigerator is finally working again today on July 27th. Thanks to everyone at Cooks for getting my kitchen back in working order.

Prompt, friendly customer service, knowledgeable technicians. Found the problem with my freezer quickly, part was ordered and arrived next day. Technician came back out promptly, installed part and had the freezer back up and running. Only down a couple of days. Highly recommended.

Outstanding customer service performed quickly. I had an issue with my LG refrigerator and Cooks reached out promptly after a call to LG tech support. The service was done in a faster time frame than anticipated and everyone was as nice and professional as they could have been.

We had Cooks appliance come out to look at our refrigerator and dishwasher. The guy who came out was very professional and very nice. He was able to fix the refrigerator but advised that the dishwasher really needed to be replace, that it would cost more to fix it than it was worth. We had my daughter meet the repairman at my house, so when she needed someone to fix her refrigerator, she called Cooks Appliance Service. We really appreciated all their professionalism and honesty. We would highly recommend them.

Who ever schedules for techs to come out absolutely sucks. A tech was suppose to come out today to fix my dryer before I went out of town and they didn’t show up. When the lady called to schedule the appointment she wasn’t friendly at all. I should have known it would be nothing but a problem. I will not do business with them.

We had numerous issues trying to get our repair scheduled, including reschedules and Ray completely forgetting about entire conversations/phone calls. It was a very frustrating experience to get a technician to our house, however our tech (Michael) was phenomenal. He was kind, talkative, and knowledgeable. He demonstrated some features of my oven that I did not know about and offered to show me how to handle future oven door issues.

I called Cooks to look at our washing machine because it just stopped working. They came to our home the next day and had it diagnosed and fixed within an hour. They were professional, quick, easy, and affordable. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone. Thank you Cooks!

Called to schedule an appointment for repair. The lady who answered the phone was extremely polite. However, when she transferred me to the tech to schedule the appointment he was rude as heck. He gave me the availability. After he finished talking, I was beginning to ask him a question when he rudely interrupted me attempting to answer a question that I wasnt going to ask. When I explained that he didnt wait to see what my question was, he allowed me to ask my question. Then he responded with a little laugh, its the same answer no. I quickly ended the call as I wasnt pleased with the customer service. About 20 minutes later I received a phone call and a text. The text stated that they could accommodate me by coming later that afternoon. I respectfully declined the service. I must say that was my first time having such an experience there, but I wont be treated rude and spend my money, too.

Received so many recommendations for this company. And when Billy one of their service techs came out he was wonderful and so polite. He came out and fix my dryer in under 30 minutes. And the price was SUPER reasonable. Will definitely recommend to others!!!

My wife and I recently had some problems with our fridge (LG) that we had purchased at Lowes. We called Lowes about the problems and they instructed us to call Cooks. We did and after asking questions, they promptly scheduled us an appointment for a repairman. We received a call on the appointment day letting us know when the repairman would arrive. He arrived on schedule and found the problem, which was a warranty issue. He ordered the part, and we then received a call to set up the appointment for the new part to be installed. Everything went smooth and our LG was fixed. Since then, we have called them on two occasions for other appliance issues and everything was handled promptly. Good people.

First time I used Cooks a man came out to work on my dishwasher and he did a fine job. This next time I am so disappointed. My broiler in oven was out, my washing machine didnt rinse and dryers heating unit was out. The man turned on and off my oven and washer and said it was ok. Charged me. He ordered a heating component for dryer. So when he left after about 15 min. And $332 later nothing was fixed. Today he fixed the dryer I hope and told me I would need 2 mother boards at $300 each for other appliances without really doing anything. Very unhappy with service. Dont think he could handle my machines.

Called today and left my name and number after explaining our washer broke. A service man called me about 3 hours later and said they were on their way. They arrived, told me exactly what the problem was and fixed it in less than 15 minutes. These guys are awesome! I WILL certainly be recommending them!

My GE refrigerator died on a Sunday ( Mothers Day ) Called Cooks on Monday and they had a Tech at my house by noon the same day. I thought I had to buy a new $1500 fridge- but they found the problem and fixed for $90! Very happy customer ! I would highly recommend !

I ordered a part for my dryer and paid the full price up front by credit card. When the part came in I went to pick it up and could readily see it was not the right part. I talked with the front desk serviceman and he confirmed it was the wrong part and that I could fix my problem very easily without the part. I did not take the part out of the store and assumed they would send the part back and credit my account. Not so! When I called them about the matter, they gave excuses, passed the buck, and refused to return my calls. I personally went to the business to talk to the owner, Mr. Cook (the son) and got the same pathetic doubletalk I received from his employees. I would rather deal with a jackass than Mr. Cook (the son). I made a $181.00 contribution to the Cook business. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. Let the buyer beware!

A few months ago my husband called Cooks to ask if they could service our broken Bosch dishwasher. They stated they did service Bosch, no problem. They sent 2 servicemen out to look at it -- they basically told us that its broken (obviously), did nothing, and then charged us $70 for the service call. They stated theyd give us a call the following week after they got the part in to fix it. The next week, no call. I called and they stated in fact they DONT service Bosch and were working to obtain the part from somewhere else. They said theyd call back the following week. Never did. I called two weeks later and they stated they still were having trouble replacing the part. Still did not hear from them. Two weeks after that, I called again (quite angry this time), and again received the run around. Now it has been well over a month with no word from them, and Ive given up any hope that theyll follow through. I am extremely unsatisfied with their service. They ripped us off $70! For nothing! They are scam artists. Dont use them.

Dont even bother! Ordered a part, got there to pick it up and the guy behind the counter was rude, unprofessional and told me my part wasnt even there. I went to go walk out and he stopped me & said that he found it. I shouldve known better than to go ahead and buy the part due to the signs posted everywhere no refunds & 25% re-stocking fee but I really needed my dryer to work, so I night the element anyways $70! Down the drain bc I get home, install it..... Doesnt work! I thought, ok maybe its something else so I called somebody to come look at it.. They tested it, all the power going to the element works but theres none coming from the element itself. So $70 wasted here and I still have no way to dry my clothes.

The two times I had Cooks out, they arrived when they said they would, and the repair man discussed the problem and suggested the less expensive solution. I recently called because the slide out lint filter on the dryer is damaged. The office clerk asked me to read numbers I had never noticed on the unit, and suggested I come pick it up and just pay for the replacement part rather than also have a service call to just push it in the slot. I feel like Cooks personnel try to help the customer save money rather thansock it to em!
