I loved coming into this store, they have a nice selection and the lady working helped me find books Ive been looking for for a while. Even 5 minutes until close she was so sweet and helped me get what I needed.

Small and quaint bookstore with new and used books. Shelves are not overstocked and it is very tidy. I do wish they had a bigger selection, though! Cute place.

I visited Narrow Gauge Newsstand yesterday for the first time. What a GREAT store. A very wide selection of books and the best collection of information about the San Luis Valley Ive ever seen. A really beautiful old-fashioned, customer service oriented bookstore.

I was without a book to read and noticed this bookstore as we were getting ready to leave Alamosa. Bought 2 used books for $2 from the Friends of the Library cart out front. Perused the store and they had many excellent choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free coffee, water and snacks at the front door.

Cute, quaint little bookstore. The people were very knowledgeable and super friendly. I would definitely come back.
