Clark Auto service are incredible. We were visiting from Texas on vacation to Alamosa and our rental van gas tank lid got stuck and it was almost 7pm add one phone call to them, they waited for us for nearly 30 minutes, helped us with the gas tank and noticed oil was low, filled that and noticed oil leak and fixed that and the whole time were so friendly chatting up and didnt even want us to pay them. We were simply impressed and would highly recoomend them for their professionalism, kindness and prompt service

I was traveling through town and had an issue with my vehicle. I called early in the morning and explained my situation and he said no problem, bring it over! He took a look at it right away and started working on it immediately. They gave me a ride to my hotel and picked me up. Very good business and great people here! 5 star business for sure!

I was climbing mountains near Alamosa and I had a ball joint go out on the way back from the trailhead. My wheel came off and I was stuck. Got towed to Clarks and they had my truck fixed in one day for a very good price. The owner even drove me to my hotel and back. The owner is a great guy who is really out to help people. If you need a car place in Alamosa this if the place!

My check engine light was on, so I called and Chris said come on in. He read all of the readings and talked me through the process. He was super friendly and it was some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced.

Chris is amazing! I was on a road trip and my car broke down and Chris was the only one around who would take me in and looked at my car right away. Unfortunately my car was not worth saving so I had to sell it, but Chris let me leave my car at his garage while I figured everything out and drove me and my boyfriend around where we needed and even let us stay in his trailer. He’s the best around! Highly recommend!

We were in town on a trip and our suburban would not start called another shop and they said 2 weeks called Chris and he came out and looked at it and said it needed to go to his shop for the repair got it towed there he replaced the fuel pump and got us on the road in a very timely manner would take my vehicles here for my repairs if we lived in the area. I flat out refuse to go to anyone else, this man is probably one of the kindest people out there! When I was 9 months pregnant, my car broke down and he made sure I didn’t walk home. He truly cares about his work and not ripping people off, he does his work very well and the best value around town, I will not trust anyone else. I’ve been to several places and have been scammed but this guy will make sure you’re taken care of!

We were traveling through Alamosa when our radiator cracked. It was 5:40pm and several shops said “too bad” but Chris Clark said bring it on down. Chris ordered the part and had us on our way, in the mean time he shared his family and allowed us to park our camper on his property. You would be a fool to trust your car to anyone else. My only regret is that he is not closer to our home so we could use him all the time.

This place was incredible. Mr. Clark could have easily scammed me, knowing nothing about cars and in a tight spot. I drive up from Denver and noticed my car had a pretty bad oil leak. I had to be back down in Denver that day, he got me in in the morning and took care of everything for an unbeatable price. I highly recommend this mechanic!

My car happened to break down in Alamosa, all other auto shops had at least a one week wait and did not seem to care that I was stranded. After talking to Chris about my situation he got to work immediately on my car. Chris did exceptional work all while providing the best customer service possible. We were driving our motorhome towing a Suzuki Samurai from California to Florida a 2 month vacation we were really looking forward to on our first day out we blew the water pump out on the Suzuki our first planned stopped was at our son’s in Alamosa so we stopped for the night and first thing the next morning we called and Chris said he was really busy but to go ahead and come on over - right away we knew that we had picked the right place - Chris was very knowledgeable and confirmed the pump was gone - he ordered a new one and put it in the next day - we were able to leave exactly as planned and the Suzuki was running great - thanks to Chris who was so kind and considerate - I would highly recommend Clark auto to anyone needing repairs in the Alamosa area

We were driving to the UFO Watchtower on Thursday when our alternator died. We had a tow truck bring us back to Salida just as OReilly was closing about 8pm and got a new battery. They did a free electrical test to see if it was the Alternator, but everything passed. We couldnt find a hotel in Salida so drove down to Alamosa that night.Friday morning, everything was wonky with the electrical again, so we found Clark Auto online and drove over. Chris (owner of Clarks - 3rd generation) was out there and very courtesy and a heart of gold. His son, Aiden was out there with their dog, Harmony. Both of them were very friendly and well-mannered.Chris mentioned they were closed on the weekend but would do it anyway, and not charge extra. He also lent us his Jeep Cherokee to drive to the UFO Watchtower to setup camp and come back the next day. We spoke for a while about different things and he is an old soul. Very honest, with a lot of integrity.He texted us the next day and we came back over and he gave us a very fair price and we ended up driving back up to Northern Colorado on Sunday, which took about 5 hours and didnt have any issues. He also charged up the new battery we just bought, which got drained on the way to Alamosa.Chris is good people and will do a great job. I highly recommend him, but only to good people that can respect good work. He is a gem down there in that area.

As soon as I walked in and saw the custom cars Clarks is building for customers I knew I was in the right place. They tracked down a part I couldnt find for my VW Vanagon and had it installed the next day. Quality work, attention to detail and great customer service AND a great price. We were traveling from Washington and would have been stuck without Clark Auto Service.
