Big 5 in Alomo has a well stocked store, they have a great sale on shoes of all brands. Their sales crew is very helpful and well trained. When Im In town l always visit. Thanks again

Shoe department at this store is excellent. My wife and I each bought a pair of great summer hiking boots on sale for a fantastic price. Later, I bought a pair of sneakers, one of which turned out to have a defective sole. With the receipt, I had no problem exchanging, though they werent in stock. The shoe manager, Levi, had the new pair rushed over from another store same day. Just incredibly great service!

Went to Alamogordo to pick up some items and everywhere I went in Alamogordo people were awesome!

They used to have reasonable prices on quality shoes but they dont anymore. Its very sad! Dont think I can go back and put shoes on the 4 boys any longer from them.

I wear an 11 and 1/2 shoe size. Tried on 6 pair i liked the style in, but sadly, no stock of those shoes in my size. They had 10, 11 and 12 but no half- sizes. Very disappointed.

This place is kind of pricey, but what places arent that sell nice and decent things?! Got a volleyball net for a good price, and the store was clean with very helpful employees :)

This is the only place in town Ive been able to find quality self defense ammunition. It was a little expensive at $45 a box, but when it comes to protecting my self and my family its worth every penny.

I always like to go in the store and see what items are on the end caps and special racks that are marked down considerably. If you are looking for new shoes, running, basketball, walking and hiking then this is the place to come. Their prices are incredibly reasonable. There is always sales that will make your eyes bleed, up to 60%. Oh and work boots including steel toes.Just go, walk around and you will find something that you will want. Get in there and enjoy...

The hours need to be updated. We got to the door today, right at 6pm, and they had already closed.

Good place for ammo, camping and fishing gear. Plus theres a variety of sports wear and gear.

Knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Very fast checkout and the store seemed organized and very clean.

My wife had never been to a Big 5 before so, I took her into this one. I have to say its much smaller than what Im use to, but they still have a great selection of things. The staff are very friendly and are always willing to help you. My wife and I are into hiking so, Mac gave us some great pointers on where to go and even hooked us up with one of his own personal maps!

I entered the store and was greeted by the cashier. I ask a sales associate for a particular product which they do not carry. But she was very helpful and friendly.

More like big6. One time a little man came into my place of work and offered me a job here. He started going off the walls about minimum wage, it was a really peculiar event that happened to me. Id like to start a random accusation against this funny man and say he was involved in the life of Eddie of Eddies Borritos.

Friendly, helpful staff and reasonable pricing, although the building itself is somewhat cramped, and some areas of the store can be somewhat disorganized. Not like theres very many other choices in Alamogordo, though. Much better than Walmart.

Its a nice store but I needed to return two snowboards and the manager told me she could look my receipt up but since its my responsibility to keep the receipt i couldnt get my money back. She was very rude which is unusual for this store. I work in customer service and I would never talk to a customer that way.
