This Target has been consistently great with customer service. Ive been shopping here for years, and have been especially impressed with their precautions and service since covid started. They did a good job trying to prevent hoarding (which kept the store well-stocked), distanced shoppers, and cleaned well. My favorite service is the drive up/curbside pickup. Its so efficient and user-friendly! I definitely do more grocery shopping at Target now because of its availability. Its also been 💯 accurate for me. Ive rarely had out-of-stock items, and have never had an incorrect order. It saves so much time. Please keep this feature forever!!! Also, the Alameda staff are the best!

Target Alameda The black girl with a glasses on drive up name Alliyah Irvina something like that is hella rude not only to the customers but also to her co-workers on orange vest that bring the bags out! She talks to them like she’s the boss. Management needs to talk to this rude lowlife individual or fire this kind of employee. In our department they don’t tolerate this kind of behaviour or else Adios amigas!I love target alameda most employee are very helpful and nice. The staff is rude and doesn’t know what she’s doing. I went to buy a game for my Nintendo switch and the staff gave me the wrong game and told me to get a refund from the guest service. I have to wait 30 min in line just to get to the guest service. The guest service staff doesn’t know how to do her job, ended up waiting another 20 min.

This was SO easy. Best experience yet. Employee finishing up with another customer came to my car just as I was pulling up, asked if I was picking up, took my info and said someone else was bringing it out. Then they both put my purchase in the back of my car. Customer Service + Teamwork = Happy Customer!

This is my first time visiting this Target and my experience was super efficient. I was so glad that Martha in electronics was able to help my friend and I with the things we needed. Her customer service was AMAZING. I don’t usually write reviews unless impressed or unimpressed and she really did a great job. She introduced the features to us on the Target app which saved my friend and I a few dollars, assisted us in finding a piece we needed for my car in electronics, and just great energy. If she’s not already in management, she definitely should be ! Aside from that the store layout was perfect . Got everything we needed in less than 10 minutes.

The managers are walking around with the little red basket trying to see if someone is stealing, The security guard is not far behind them,once I saw that I got my three items and gotthe hell out of there…..

This is a review of the PHOTO SERVICE. Sorry Main target store, but there is no place to review the online PHOTO SERVICE.I paid regular price with a shipping promo to get Christmas cards in time to send out for the holiday. When they arrived the margins were so poorly maintained the words were cut off the card! I tried to contact services twice and both requests went unanswered. Also Target Photos does not save your order, track shipping, or allow you to reference past projects... Next years Ill use Walgreens - at least they are willing to remake things that come out wrong AND they save your past orders.Target Photo service is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY and customer service is horrible. I feel like this is thievery, I did not receive the product shown in the proof.

I want to commend the young woman, Ms. Tori, in charge (or should be in charge) of the home furnishing department at this store. What a remarkable, professional, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous worker! Someone please promote her and have her train other workers or be on track for management. I have been to other Target stores, yeah, Im talking about the San Leandro store who desperately needs Tori to train some of the workers there. She has a bright future and I hope management notices.Also, big shout out for Ms. Mirvet, cashier! Another great, friendly, efficient worker.Its a good thing to have a Target in Alameda.

Prices here are higher. I took a wrong turn on the highway and thought Id shop here but no, one of the items I wanted has a list price of 25% higher than the Target I usually goes to.

You guys are doing a phenomenal job with the curbside pickup! I dont know if its the updated app, or because I switched from Android to iOS, but you literally have my order waiting for me, as I roll into the parking lot. Less than a minute and I was on my way. Cant beat service like that.

Everything went smoothly from the beginning when I got the application to the ordering to the drive to have my stuff put on my truck I was pleasantly surprised.

I came in to return an item I purchased with my Target Red Card five months ago. The toy still had a bar code in my app but I knew it was past the return policy limit so I called Target in Alameda before going there and the customer service person told me that if it had a bar code it should be fine and if it wouldnt let her do a refund she would give me a store credit; however, we went to the store to return it and the first cashier was friendly and apologetic that his register went offline twice and then he couldnt do the return so he got the manager and she came over and just said no she wouldnt do the store credit even though we were told yes over the phone. I purchased two hair dyes while in line and she was hasty and with me and rude to the cashier that we initially had. It was a horrible experience and not what I expect from Target at all.

Pretty weak as far as targets go. Good fresh foods selection but electronics and a few other deps are heavily lacking. Its always crowded (like every other target) and is hot.

I was given such great customer service. The two ladies that helped the new employee at the register were super friendly and willing to go over and beyond. I have to say they deserve a pay raise especially because they are staying so positive during this crazy covid19 time.

Customer service is amazing! I had a drive up order and didn’t notice until I got home that one item was missing. I called the store and they were so nice about it. They had someone check the floor to see if any were in stock. There were so they held one for me and said to call when I came back and they would bring it out. I didn’t even have to call when I got there because one of the employees was bringing stuff to another car and asked if I was there for pick up or drive up. When I told him why I was there, he knew exactly what I was talking about and went and got the item. They gave me a gift card for the trouble which was unexpected but appreciated.

Last winter, I had purchased 3 x 92 oz bottles of Tide, but missed to notice that they werent -he-, the high efficiency type, which is what I need for our washer. Once I noticed that I bought the wrong kind of Tide, I had already thrown away the receipt.Then came the pandemic and nobody would accept any returns.Today, I went to the customer service desk at Target in Alameda and a very friendly lady named Peggy and her manager Nicole helped me with the return. It was complicated, as they were not able to find two of the items any longer in the system.They asked for my ID and my card. I told them that I always pay cash, after my Visa card was once been compromised at Target.They did not give up on me, but with grace and perseverance admitted the refund in form of store credit. Im so thankful to them, for their outstanding customer service!!! Im very happy and will be back many times!

What is the point of drive up if items are always missing?

Usually you have what I need. I love your Target products Nate Berkus queen size sheets, although you have been out of stock forever, Goodfellow, all of the womens clothing and lingerie and assets products. Overall, you carry everything that Id look for at the mall and the grocery store.

Friendliness of the staff, ease of finding the products and cleanliness of store/carts. I appreciate Target having clean/sanitized carts available at the entrance of the store.

Quick service

Employees are not wearing masks properly. Pointed out to several employees that masks need to cover nose and mouth, the response was eyerolls. Some like to wear them on their chins instead of their faces. Do not feel safe going back.

Target is a big box store that doesnt disappoint most of the time. My service picking up an order in Alameda yesterday was pretty good. Thanks for that!

Today I bought a cassette player. Unfortunately some people can sell you anything knowing the product was returned and resold a regular price. The volume button was broke among other things scratches on the player outside and inside. This is the second time I bought something at Target and it was used.

We like having Target in Alameda. Its closer location makes it easier for us to get to. They have a good selection of products. You can get most of the things you need at Target. We also love that most of the Targets have a Starbucks at their locations.

Good prices for good quality. And the service is always friendly and very helpful! Recently, an employee dropped what she was doing to immediately help me find a product that I was searching for. She checked and said they had it in storage in the back, and immediately went to get one for me. When I wasnt happy with the quality of the item (a slight manufacturers defect in the toy I was getting for a gift), she didnt comment on how small the imperfection was, but immediately - and cheerfully!! - ran back to get a second one that was in the back! Amazing service!

Apparently to alert security of customers wandering without mask and no action is to fix it... Just two ok. Unbelievable.

My cashier Olivia was so extremely nice and attentive, she asked me if I wanted a red card and at first I was reluctant but Olivia described all of the benefits to the card so I applied and was approved for one! I am excited to use it and want to highlight my trip to this Target was my experience with the cashier.

Target is always clean, the employees are always polite, its just always a nice experience over a lot of other retailers. Lines are never too long, even during the holidays, and if they start to back up they always get more people in a timely manner. Great selection of products, (clearance is always a fun time!) and friendly associates, too!!

Easy ship and pickup. Please work to keep the bathrooms clean. They are absolutely filthy most times we visit. Paper and water in floor. Feminine products holder overflowing (gross!!).

Quality items, decent pricing and organized atmosphere.

When the Starbucks coffee I bought scanned at the regular price ($9.79) instead of the lower price on the shelf ($5.99), the price was corrected when I caught it. But, at Walmart and Safeway stores, I would have received the item for free for the same store error. This is not the staffs fault, it is the companys corporate responsibility to train them correctly.

Long lines this Sunday, they need to hire more cashiers as there is only 5 open registers. Its ridiculous. Dont get me wrong, I like love this target, when they have their shelves stocked(which they have trouble with) and its the closest, most convenient store. They shouldve kept all their holiday employees a little longer.

One stop shop. They usually have everything I’m looking for, but that was not the case when doing my baby registry. They did not have as many baby options as I thought to pick and choose from. However, I am still and will always be a regular Target shopper. What can I say, I love Target!

Target Alameda is, by far, my favorite Target location and the best brick-and-mortar shopping experience in the East Bay. It is clean, provides friendly service, and usually well-stocked. On my most recent visit, Mirvet gave me an outstanding check-out experience. She did some online price matches for me while still being very quick and efficient. She kindly made sure my items were bagged neatly so as not to cause damage to the more delicate ones. She is friendly and highly attuned to customers at a level which is quite rare in these times. I really appreciate her! And although I still miss shopping in my former home (ʻOahu), the Alameda Target provides the same ease, selection and pleasant service I would receive in Hawaii. Thank you!

Many shops often put only the skinny image on display but in reality the customer ranges from XS to XXXL may be more. This days I start to see few shops displaying the plus size mannequins on display. I sew some in Target today so ..good job .. I hope they will do more for men as well.

They never answer the f##king phone! You can call and call and call, no answer. We called Corporate C.S. and spoke to someone who assured us the problem would be addressed. That was like 4 months ago. Nothing has changed. Weve spoken to the store manager at this Target in person. No resolution, no concern, no results. This store is full of Bull when it comes to simply answering the phone. Super Ridiculous, unprofessional and rude.

Nice newer Target in a good location. It’s a good Target overall, but it seems to have some issues keeping things stocked and I often find that a couple things on my list are just empty shelves with spaces for the product.

Outstanding Customer Service

I usually find what I need and can get in and out quickly.

The store manager couldnt adequately explain why a swimsuit that was on the clearance rack was not discounted. Both her and the cashier were rude as well. I was told that the item was discontinued and would eventually be marked down but she didnt know when but I could keep checking back.

Clean building and is highly maintained . Staffs were kind and helpful. Great deals and the quality is good.

Typical Target – has most of the household goods one would be looking for, at reasonable prices.

A brand new store, its still shiny and clean. A bit hard to find, tucked away where it is, but honestly that sort of makes it more appealing as its less busy than it could be. Even a few days before Christmas it wasnt nearly as packed as I expected. All of the employees have been really friendly, and Ive been able to find what I want for the most part.

When an item was rung up at the register the price was wrong compared to the signage and the cashier refused to price adjust and made me walk all the way back and take a picture while still in line. He was completely rude. Target had never made me do that in the past. The customer service memeber Stephanie was also completely rude when I told her about the incident. The employees were completely unapologetic. I’ve never had this bad of Target service ever. Never go to Alameda Target!

Target has just about everything you might want. A plus is it is just fun to look at things.

Pros: Great parking. The store is organized somewhat effectively and you can find what you need. Great collection of clothes, pharmaceutical products, entertainment, and equipment.Cons: Location isn’t great, service is lacking, the glasses section is poor and the self-service cashiers are half broken.TLDR: It’s great, but some minor errors may get on your nerves, especially for short little chores.

I purchased a wireless XBox controller from your store that quit functioning properly, after 45 days. Due to your Return Policy and customer service, I was not permitted to return/exchange the item for the price I paid for it, despite it ceasing to work properly after 45 days; apparently thats acceptable by your business practices and I should suffer as a paying customer. Instead of giving me a refund so that I could purchase a wired version of the same controller, in hopes of rectifying the faulty wireless connection issue, I was given a gift card for $10 less than what I paid, 45 days ago. I feel this is completely unfair as a customer who frequents your stores for home goods, groceries, and more. Unfortunately, after todays experience, Ill likely avoid TARGET at all costs.
