I had such a bad experience with the Rite Aid pharmacy on S. Main St. That I decided to go somewhere else to get my booster shot. I went to the Rite Aid on Waterloo Rd. and I was impressed with how nice they were to the customers. I will be doing my shopping and prescriptions there in the future. It was nice to be treated with dignity.
Terrible pharmacy. They never have my prescription ready when they say it will be. Pharmacists lack customer service skills. They rarely answer the phone. Usually it’s busy, and sometimes the menu is on a continual loop. Today is 11/7/21. They haven’t answered their phone in three days. My daughter says there are only 4 cars in the whole parking lot. I had to call a different rite aid to ask if they closed my location. Zero stars.
This use too be the best pharmacy in the area. Now if I could give them 0 stars I would. Pharmacist are super rude, super slow. There are a few times my Dr. wrote an extended script because she was going on vacation & they filled it. Now they give you problems for that & won’t fill it. I almost got cut off my Dr. because my count didn’t match what she wrote. Took me 5 days of me calling for them to answer. When they finally did they told me I had too wait 3 hours for 10 pills. After aI just waited 30 plus days & wasted 5 days calling every hour.I’ve also been asked by pharmacist in front of customers.if I am trying to sell my script for asking for my full script . Also the middle aged blonde with glasses calls me the “suboxone guy” in front of customers. Why is my script the customers business?
Talked to few places about the Covid Vaccine & rite aid off Waterloo rd in Akron,oh is the only place that really explained the differences in brands. The gentleman was very knowledgeable & beyond patient. When went to get shot, the ladies where still very helpful & more than willing to answer ANY questions.thank u for easing my discomfort & answering all my questions without getting annoyed.
I did leave a one star review previously because of the horrible customer service here. You are treated like a nuisance just for asking for assistance, especially by the pharmacist. However, last time I called, a worker by the name of Courtney was extremely helpful and was incredibly nice. Because of her, I’ll bring I up to three stars but I still think you should perhaps find a different pharmacy!
If it takes five hours for a mouse click to make it from Fairlawn to Waterloo Road, I think you need a new system. Then, the prescription that you claim isnt covered by my insurance magically IS covered when I call to double check. What are the odds you didnt update my insurance info after I presented my card and said it had changed? Amazing.
I have patronized this store for many years and have always received extraordinary service. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
The pharmacy here is terrible. You will wait in line for hours and then it is never ready. This has happened every single time, not to mention they are very rude and disrespectful. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with getting prescriptions from a pharmacy!!!!!!
I use to love this pharmacy but recently the service has been horrible. Wait time for prescription is really bad. I called to get a covid test and was told that I could only get an appointment online. I am sick or I wouldnt need to get a test and I really feel like creating an online e account.....I DONT THINK SO.
The pharmacy has terrible customer service. The people working behind the counter seem very unorganized, unprofessional, and just plain rude. If you need to refill a prescription make sure you call it in a week ahead of time because they likely will not have it ready. Also, if you call and ask if it’s ready expect a rude response from the person that answers. If you can, have your prescriptions filled elsewhere.
Nice enough drugstore.. Friendly staff.
Pharmacist Brian was incredibly rude and his lack of kindness or consideration was appalling. We felt like a nuisance just for needing his assistance and will be switching to a new pharmacy. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Very happy with everyone at that pharmacy many times its been about 10 minutes and my order is ready. Really appreciate the fast time with scripts . You put many pharmacies to shame with your quick work. Friendly people
Absolutely disgusting rude.
I was trying to buy something that was a different price in the store than Rite Aid advertised online. Cashier said we cant honor online prices because it may be on sale there. I told her it wasnt on sale, that it just said it was the regular price, and she said there was nothing they could do because online is different. Shouldnt customers be able to look up a price online to see how much it will be before they go into the store?! Thats why I went the store in the first place! Plus, the cashier was just blah about it... Like Oh well, its policy, Sorry. Poor customer service.
Pharmacy is not that bad, not a big fan of buying other products here if I dont have a choice.
Switched back to this pharmacy today and the pharmacist and also the lady working with him were very rude. Listened to the pharmacist “Joe” answer the phone and was rude to the caller. After he hung up the phone he says “ she gets on my nerves”. Very unprofessional.
Be prepared to wait atleast 20 minutes every time in pharmacy drive thru..
Friendly staff and pharmacy personnel.
Great customer service
I dont know if theyre dishonest or careless, but Ive never been to a store where a things on sale & the regular price rings up as often as this rite-aid.
They are ridiculous they receive a prescription at 1 pm on Monday and it is still not filled by 2pm on Tuesday and this happens all the time and the pharmacy people are rude
