BUYER BEWARE: I went to this gas station on Saturday to get Diesel gas. Within 10 miles after getting a fill up, my check engine light came on in my truck. Proceed with caution.

I used the pump outside to get gas. When I used my bank debit card. I was charged around $40 or $45 dollars. The pump was unable to print a receipt and I didnt have time to go inside an get one. I checked my account online using my online account with my bank(US Bank) and of course for the transaction there was a pending charge of $1 which normally is until the transaction post. I checked my account today and the Sunoco posted a charge for $75. I went up to the gas station to explain why I was there and that I need a receipt because I know I didnt get $75 worth of gas because my truck doesnt take that much gas and I know the screen on the gas pump stated $40 or $45. The guy inside told me that since I didnt come inside to pay for my gas he wouldnt have a receipt for me and my issue is with the pump and my bank. I told him he owned the gas station so my issue isnt with my bank but with the gas station and the fact that they over charged and and wouldnt provide me with a receipt. Any gas station you go to if the machine cant produce a receipt,it advises you to go inside and the attendant will print you a receipt. This guys refuse to provide me with a receipt or help me solve my issue. I advised him I will be contacting my bank to start fraud charges against the gas station(which I did the same day after I left the gas station). The guy(I didnt get a name but I think it was the owner) just said for me to take it us with my bank because the problem was with them. The problem isnt with them.
Gas on app and sign was as listed as 2.69 but when I went to pump gas the pump said 2.89. They lie about their prices to bring people in. I left and went elsewhere.
Great service, friendly staff, same day service, first full service station I have seen in Akron
Great repair work. Master mechanic John Manos..........Very well priced. .....................Joe Nemer
If anyone ever wants work done on their car in the west Akron area at Steves Sunoco, dont. Tom, who is the mechanic over there doesnt know what hes doing. This guy broke both front tire sensors and tried to fix them by duck taping one into the wheel well and then using a plastic zip tie on the other, this negligent mistake costed $160 to repair, and the shocker is that he wasnt man enough to admit what happened to anyone. It is a shame that Steves son George cannot handle business any better and chooses to hire such crass individuals.Never again.
I always get helpful information & have a good experience determining the problem with my vehicle & plan on returning for more work to be done on my vehicle
Had one rather condescending experience with a male employee one time, but aside from that Ive never had much trouble.
Always pleasent good service
One of the mechanics has a serious attitude problem, but their prices are fair and they wont try to sell you something you dont need.
Quality service from friends
Bad behavior and rude
