The store was very clean and cozy. I just couldn’t find the styles I wanted and that’s not their fault at all! Workers wore mask and were very pleasant. They did close a bit earlier than I’m used too 8pm

All around awesome place. Could use more practical and less fashion apparel, but the CS is awesome (which is one of the most crucial part of any customer experience) and they have a vast variety of departments. Lots of sales. Happy shopping!

Clean & Organized. Its nice to see a store withstand the test of time around Akron. First floor with close parking, not hectic like a mall. Greeted upon entering. Only thing that could use some upkeep were the fitting rooms. Lots of choices and great clearance deals.

Jc Penney is another one of those stores you see in every mall but its a fun stop at every mall!

Great sales prices. Too bad the folks on the register did not have them in the system. My check out person had to go and check the price personally.

I always find nice shirts that I like here. Except I cant ever find straight leg jeans. Its like all the jeans sold here are skinny jeans or weird wide leg jeans, nothing in between.

Found everything I needed. Had to go to a funeral. Was very happy with what I found. Plus it was at a decent price.

I was able to get in without being crowded at all, Had to go straight to the back to pickup my order, no hassle cashier scanned the barcode on my smartphone, signed on the keypad and the cashier came back with my order. I checked it to make sure correct and thanked the cashier.

Went for family photos, came out good. The studio was very friendly, covid saftey measures were in place with constant surface cleaning and isolated waiting areas.. the photographer did a great job with our baby and 5 yo too

JC Penneys always used to be one of my favorite places to shop. We did not have a very good experience at this location. Unfortunately, they only have one fitting room open in the very obscure teen clothing section. Not helpful at all when you are trying to help someone try on items from a different part of the store. Covid restrictions are loosening up here people! You can open the fitting room by the bras! Geez! We asked for help a couple times and pretty much got pointed the way and otherwise ignored the rest of our visit. They also close at 7 on a Saturday and are very rude about getting everyone out of the store. Why so early? Why be so rude? Thankfully we were pretty much done when they began announcing that they were closing in a half hour, but we would have liked to look around a bit more. Bottom line, we would have probably spent a lot more had we had help, and the time to shop.

I went in to get new bedding.... Comforter set for my room. I was always able to count on J. C. Penney for beautiful bedding, of great quality, and reasonable prices. I understand now why they are going out of business!Left empty handed... not one employee even offered to help me. Not returning. :(Checked out kitchen appliances while there, again; sparse selection, sale prices were not sales...Very disappointed.

Dated building. Lots of parking available. Handicap parking and entrance accessible. Associates friendly.

I purchase mattresses from JC Penney’s and they were delivered by a 3rd party. The mattresses were very thin. When I called JC Penney’s about how dissatisfied I was with the mattresses they refused to allow me to take them back to the store as well as they wanted me to pay 129.00 to restock the mattresses. I will never make a large purchase from JC Penney’s like mattresses and furniture because if you aren’t satisfied they don’t make it a convenience to their customers. Horrible experience!

Great selection of bedding with bed in a bag that includes dust ruffle, comforter, pillow shams & decorative pillows for a lower price than other department stores. Fantastic fluffy, soft bath towels also and great variety of housewares. Nice selection of womens clothes and shoes. Fantastic sale prices & coupons. If you have a JCP credit card, you get more coupon offers often.

I had a return to make and it was a nice experience. The two ladies working the return desk were so nice and helped me with my return and even ordered me a new item. Serious lack of clothing for people over 44 waist

The item advertised in the jewelry department flyer was not out on the sales floor for purchase. The clerk said there were more in the back still packed up, but wasnt sure if the heart pendants I was looking to purchase were back there or not. This was the only day I could come see the actual size and make my purchase.

Bigger than the previous Jcpenney I went to. Only thing I had trouble find was anything with the bottoms or just bottoms in general in a 5T. Besides that I was a good place to shop.

Very helpful young man in the shoe department. He was also very engaging and nice to talk with. In coats, the lady that helped me out there was also just as kind and helpful. The cashier also was very kind and asked me if I found everything I was looking for. So overall, it was a great experience

Customer service none after 20 min I found a associate to help with mattress. Was told me to call tomorrow and someone could help me.

I really like this store! They have a good selection and have clearly marked sections/departments. It’s very bright and clean and they do a fairly good job of keeping the clothes tidy. I am an avid shopper of their clearance deals and like that they offer free shipping to the store. It’s very convenient to order something to be delivered to the store and then go and pick it up. It’s never more than a few minutes wait to buy my item and I can do other shopping if I need or want. JC Penney has improved over the years.Now I can say they offer quality products at reasonable, and even occasional exceptional, prices.This is a standalone store, and the employees keep the stock well organized. That said, if you dont need help, theyre everywhere around you like vultures waiting for a fatality....but when you need something? Nothing but tumbleweeds...

Great, very complete experience. I had never been in this unit, but was very happy with the complete Mens Dept. Name brands you want to see and, for me, a lot of high quality clearance items at actual clearance prices! I will definitely be returning in the future! Sales staff was very helpful, courteous and available if needed.

I love JCPenney! The employees really value a customer at the store! Especially Patty checkout and the women in Sephora too. So happy I have the extended warranty on my jewelry. JCPenney has been repairing and examining my jewelry for over 20 years! The jewelry warranty is good at any JCPenney across the United States.

Went to do some Christmas shopping. they had some wonderful sales going on. friendly employees. beautiful jewelry selection. if it wasnt Christmas time and there werent so many sales, Im not sure if I would have gone because they are a bit pricey.

Great sales but terrible long wait at check out with the new covid-19 procedure. A lot of people in line put their items down and walked out.

The clothing selection for men is above average. Personally I didnt get very good service, the two employees were teens and socialized with one another rather than help the three people (including myself) with their shopping. So they lost the company about $100 because I gave up trying to buy a pair of shoes in my size.

This store is usually very organized and the people are helpful and nice. Bo, the cashier was super helpful and not pushy at all but did of course try to talk me into a credit card :) the prices I think are over the top but when they have sales its worth it!

They had some good sales going right before Christmas and we were able to get some clothes for the kids and my husband for great prices. The check out line was long and moved a little slow but nothing to bad. My oldest daughter loved the Saphorah store in the middle of Pennys.

Picked up delivery for wife at customer service. I was pleasantly surprised that a salesman from appliance department waited on me. The assistant was busy with another customer. I give the person who waited in kudos for going the extra mile. He was very pleasant made the stop enjoyable.

The young mens dept left something to be desired..too much of the same stuff just different colors ..very boring

Store was clean, fitting rooms are ever other open which makes for long lines for fitting rooms. Also only 3 cashiers open . Long lines for checking out
