Everything was great, I was in and out of the dealer in less than 3 hours. Only thing that someone could complain about is when they washed the new truck they missed washing part of the rocker panel on driver side about the size of a dollar bill, but I wouldnt hold that against them because I myself have missed spots like that before washing my own vehicles. People were great, process was smooth and I told Martha that was the best experience Ive had with purchasing a new vehicle from any dealer Ive purchased from before.

Such a pleasant experience at VanDevere Chevrolet. I had found a car that I was interested in at another dealership but they did not seem interested in selling me a car. Then I found one on the VanDevere website and we drove down to take it for a test drive. Gage was great! He has a nice personality and was knowledgeable about the car. His manager Shane was very friendly and helpful also. They let us take the car for the weekend and that really helped to make the decision to buy the car. The last couple times I have purchased a car it took hours to finalize the paperwork but this took less than an hour! Today I wanted to highlight my experience at VanDevere Chevy for years I have service my vehicles at VanDevere Buick and Chevy, but I had never purchased a vehicle there until July 1st after sitting down with Marguerite Myers. As you can see, I gave her 5 Stars and she deserved 10. She is a true professional and made the experience easy with no fuss. I came in prepared knowing my vehicles value and after being low balled at 2 other dealerships I didnt know what to expect. I didnt even mention that I had a bad experience elsewhere. They valued my Yukon XL appropriately. She listened and was able to meet my needs without the back and forth. On the test drive I felt like I was riding with one of my oldest friends. My car buying experience with Vandever was very good. I spoke with Justin my sales representative who encouraged me to shop online and let him know when I saw something I liked. There was no pressure to make a decision. He allowed me to shop at my convenience. Their finance department found me a better rate than what I was pre-approved for. Brain Newton sold me my car & from the first day I had it. It’s been a problem. I tried to return it after 8 days and couldn’t. The claim the fixed the problem and now my car is shutting off while I’m driving. And today it wouldn’t start up. I don’t go anywhere but to school and work and they are both 5 Minutes away from my house. I’m so disappointed because I spent 5,000 dollars on a car that’s not even reliable. I feel like man always try to get over on women when buying a car. I would not recommend going here by yourself. I plan on going to court

Meh. I went in with my mom. The dealer said they’d order the car she was looking for from another dealership after showing us a stack of printouts of available cars. This was a Saturday. We were told we’d hear from him by Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday morning, I called for a status update and was told someone would call me back in the afternoon. No one called. My mom called that night and was told that they still were unable to find her a car from the stack of papers they showed us. I called a dealership less than 20 miles away from VanDevere that Thursday morning and was able to buy the exact car we were looking for in less than 10 minutes from their sister dealership and they had it all delivered and ready that Friday afternoon. It took me 5 calls and at least a half hour on hold to get my $500 looking fee refunded. Lots of lip service, not a lot of action.

This is the 3rd vehicle purchased from VanDevere due to the lifetime warranty they offer. I just purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer from Marguerite Myers on July 16th and it was one of the easiest and best experiences I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. As soon as I walked in she greeted me, and I was thinking please do not let this be a pushy sales pitch but it was the opposite or so it felt like. I told her what I was looking at and she even drove me to the other VanDevere lots to test drive other vehicles. She made it feel like hanging with an old college friend, we joked, shared stories about our families and photos of our kids, nothing felt pushed. In the end I purchased the first vehicle that I drove and she even helped me clean out the vehicle I traded in. 10/10 recommend!

We went to the dealership not sure which are we would buy. We were lucky to get Alex Bailey as our sales rep. He was so patient and kind while we test drove both cars. He answered our questions honestly, which helped us decide on which car to buy. He kept us in the loop during the entire sales process and we were so happy to be paired with him. We tested the Traverse and the Tahoe and chose the Traverse. Everyone was awesome at the dealership and we will buy from them again. The only con about the day was waiting for finance to finish our paperwork. We did spend 4 hours at the dealership.

I just bought a Toyota Tundra at VanDevere from Alex (Salesman) and Keith (Business Manager). Both were excellent folks to work with and were very personable. On top of it all, they were able to make a reasonable deal out of the transaction and get me in and out of there. Only reason for 4/5 stars is because the vehicle I bought still has some issues. However, the dealership says they’re going to work with me to get everything addressed in a timely manner. Wish the truck had been diagnosed ahead of time but overall great experience.

Great CS experience. The associate who took my information for the oil change was friendly and professional. I was impressed by the fact that I asked if the drivers name on my vet could be updated. It was not because they were very busy, but they printed out the instructions for me. I thought that was going above and beyond.

I had called to see about having my truck in for service and was told they were booked out thill the following week, I understood that. I was then explained as if I were a child by the woman on the phone, Kay or Kaylee I believe how she would put me in the schedule and an advisor would change it if something opened up. I understood this but mentioned if it did that it would have to be the next day as I was leaving town. She then again changed her tone as if I did not understand what she had just told me and asking if I understood and if it made sense to me. I bit my tongue and simply replied yes I do, yes I do. Please change the person answering the phone if they dont know how to talk to customers without getting an attitude when questions are asked.

This is the SECOND bad review I have had to write in a row! We had our car in for warranty work last Friday. Come Monday my husband called to get updated on the status of the car. Come to find out, IT HAD BEEN DONE SINCE FRIDAY!!!! No one ever called to tell us it was done. We had made special arrangements to borrow a car so everyone could get to work and games etc on Saturday and Sunday. I have to come in soon for my 100,000 work. It better be good service or we will be going to a different Vandevere shop hoping their service will be better than Chevy Vandeveres service.

First I’d like to say that our Salesman Allen Hubbard (Barry) went above and beyond to get me the best price for my trade in and keeping me informed as best he could through out the buying process.Where the deal went off was financing, we brought our own financing through a nationally well known military bank. As a member whose active duty Army i prefer to do all my banking through them. Sean in the financing department had no idea how to process the paperwork. I looked it over and it literally listed everything the bank needed back from Vandevere. I went home with the understanding that they would send the papers off and pick I’d up next working day. I called the bank to see if everything was sent to them that they needed and two days later it had not been completed. Frustrating, I chose not to finance with Vandevere I felt I was not made a priority.Thankfully Barry kept the deal together and made sure all the paperwork was processed. With that being said I’d avoid this dealership but follow Barry wherever his career takes him. He went above and beyond to make sure the deal happened and we got the best deal for our trade-in.

Chatted online with sales about the lease offers that Chevy sent me and posted in my account. Representative set me up with a sales manager to see their truckload of inventory, but a couple days before my appointment, there was not much in their inventory online, so I reached out to the rep who ASSURED me there were truckloads, but not online yet. I get to my appointment and THERE WAS NO INVENTORY. She also mentioned lease offers they were making were the same or lower than my current lease AND offering up to $4000 on my current lease trade in. The payment part was a lie, and the trade in offer was in the ballpark AFTER back and forth negotiating on a car I didnt go to lease. TOTAL bait and switch scam. I would have given them 1 star but the 2 gentlemen (not even new car sales managers-as promised for my VIP appointment-what a joke!), but were both very nice. Getting a new car is stressful enough, but dealing with 2 reps back and forth instead of just 1 was not very customer service friendly.

I had appointment for 145pm. The technician took my vehicle in the back reseted my oil light, was told by service assistant manger to stop working on my truck, to park outside. They let another customer go in front of me. I notice my truck outside. Went to the service desk to pay for service and car was never completed, then tried to make me pay for services never performed. Unbelievable, also assistant manager don’t know how to do his job. He never said let me investigate why this happened. Never gave me a solution to the problem or gave me explanation why they told the technician to stop working on my truck when I made an appointment. Just can’t believe this happen.

I brought my car in last year for a free repair on a recalled part. I called ahead and set it up with plenty of time in advance, and they reassured me several times that it would only take 2 hours maximum to fix. I had them confirm more than once on the phone that it would be done that same day because I had plans, to which they promised it would be done within 2 hours. We dropped it off, waited 20ish minutes for a shuttle to take us back home to wait, waited for almost 3 hours and didnt hear back from them. I finally called them because they were about to close and was like, So, whats the status on my car? And they told me that they hadnt even looked at it yet and that it would be done first thing in the morning. I never get snippy with people but I was so furious with the whole situation that I told them to forget the whole thing and have one of their drivers pick us up to get our car. Horribly ran business.

After a quote from Vans tires saying that I needed 2 new tires and new shocks totalling over 800 because they simply just didnt want to rotate them for free with my prior purchase of 6 new tires that supposedly come with free tire rotation and VanDevere along with my regularly oil change, rotated my tires and noted that there was nothing wrong with my shocks. Thank you so much for saving me over $800 from rip off shops like Vans tires..!!

I had my 2012 Chevrolet Equinox in for a problem with the battery not having a charge. I was told it was a combination of not driving enough and hot weather. I last drove it this past Monday, for approximately 35-40 minutes nonstop, presumably long enough to restore any discharge from starting, it is now Thursday, yesterday the temperature was very comfortable, cool for July, and this morning I have a totally dead battery again. The problem was not fixed.

Although I didnt have an appointment, they offered to attempt to squeeze me in if I was able to drop off my car. I dropped off the car, they provided a courtesy drop-off to the car rental office because I needed to pick up a rental- I shuttle my kid to all of his summer activities.I got a call about two hours later that they had taken a look at the car and what needed to be done to resolve my issue.They soon called me back and they had completed all repairs and my car was ready for me to pick up.A total of four hours. The only drawback was that I had to pay a full days rental for four hours. But, that okay, because I got my car back and its running. Thank you VanDevere service.

I give a five star for Customer Service. Everyone we spoke with in the process of looking for a car was extremely friendly and helpful. Looking for the right car can be stressful for someone like me who doesnt know much about cars to decide what would be the best fit. Happy with my new truck . Unhappy with Lisa financial manager charged me 2,900 dollars for a warranty I did not want the video will show I only needed factory warranty. Whent on my loan now I have to wait 6-8 weeks for credit. October 20 received my refund thank you Amy and Debbie. Gage did a nice job if you need a good sales man. One last thing every body check your paper work before you leave the dealership. Thank you 😊.

Went in today to get my new suburban. This appointment was set up by the dealership and confirmed this morning. Drive 45 minutes there and Oops, they dont actually have the car. Will never go back and will never recommend. Went to Tim Lally after and they couldnt have been more helpful. Stay away
