Absolutely HORRIBLE place! They sell suckers bad cars that arent drivable from even before they leave the lot. Mandy had the worst attitude and cares nothing about customer service. But shes proud to screw over others to give her kids a new car for their birthday. She so kindly rubbed that in our faces. This is the biggest scam operation ever! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!*edit* Picture is of the crack in the cylinder head (scope done by a 25 year master diagnostic technician for the make of the vehicle) and what engine looked like when my son when to pick up his car from this place after their mechanics looked at the vehicle said nothing was wrong with it and was not leaking coolant. Supposedly. Smh Car was not drivable and we had a tow set up for Monday but Mandy threatened to call and lie to Akron police and tell them it was abandoned and have it impounded. We understand as is means there will be issues with a used vehicle in the future, but not something immediate before purchase that makes the car unable to be driven off of a dealership lot, taking the chance of the entire engine breaking down on you. Or even in fact now needing to replace the entire engine. Clearly they knew about this and didnt say anything. They also took $1,000 from my son, having him sign the paperwork then writing in the cost of $1,000 less than he actually paid in cash. Took complete advantage of a 19 year old kid who purchased his 1st car with money he saved up and he was so proud of buying for himself. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!

Buyer beware! This place is the most unhonest and lying car lot around. Major engine problems just a day after purchasing a vehicle from them. Their response was well it is a used vehicle and there is no warranty, perhaps you should have looked the car over better. Then went on to tell me how their vehicles are not even inspected and how they wouldnt know if there was any problems with the car. You will have way better luck buying a car off of a private individual than going to this place. Major engine problems the same day after coming home from buying a car from them and they wont do anything, Shame on them!

Was online looking for a lower end car for a cheap price to run into the ground. Stumbled across one of their vehicles and inquired on it. The vehicle is a 2008 Cx-7 that has a salvage title. The naaa values the car at 1500$. Carfax value is between 1470-4600. For an awd with tax and title I could see spending 2500$ but I was told it was over 6k before any tax or title. Amazed this place is in business ruining live one car at a time. I would recommend to shop elsewhere even walking would be better.

I called before coming to test drive a 2013 Nissan Sentra they told me was a good running car low miles etc I arrived there to drive the vehicle things started off fine but once me n my 5 year old got off the express way all hell broke lose I pulled over to a car shop theu told meTo hurry up n return the car with whatever life was left into and how the transmission was bad the car kept losing power and going into reverse I called the car lot panicking they told me to take the streets back which I cldnt because each time I stopped the car was taking longer longer to get back goin and I had the paddle to the floor then the car stopped completely we were stuck on the glen wood exit and almost got into a few accidents because the car wld keep losing power before it completely gave out and comeTo find out the car was never suppose to b test drove at all it was labeled as a mechanic special which Mandy the desk worker and the trailer park guy never said to me they’ll sale you whatever if you value your life & others DONT EVER EVER EVER GO HERE THEYLL DO WATEVER FOR A SALE LITERALLY

Had me drive an hour to come and buy a car I had inquired about on Facebook. I was quoted a fair price as a cash buyer without financing. When I got there it was oh were sorry that one just sold but can I show you one of these orhers? Maybe they did just sell it, maybe they didnt, best case theyre discourteous worst theyre dishonest.Edit after owners reply: To be fair, they did not know where I was coming from and it is a busy time for car dealers. That said though, they still have the same car listed for sale on Facebook the day after it sold. On the lot there appeared to be a decent mix of vehicles that could suit a range of budgets but there are more vehicles listed on Facebook than I saw on the lot. I would have edited my previous comments feeling that I had been harsh had it not been for these facts. If you have time to try to keep your image polished by replying to reviews you have time to accurately represent your goods.

Seems like this a dishonest business running straight scams, they consistently post fake prices for their vehicles on social media such as Facebook Marketplace, but when you inquire further you realize it was a lie, just to bring people in. There are lots of used car dealerships in Akron that do not resort to dishonest tactics and blatant lying, what else will they lie about? Don’t trust this place .

I remember Mandy sold my ex-husband a car that the frame was duct taped. Her response? He should have checked it better.

If I could I would give this less than one star. We were beyond disappointed when a seller from the shop told us that a vehicle that we were very interested in was still available so we drove all the way there from WV with cash over 2+ hours to find out not only did she lie to us about having that vehicle still, it had sold the day before she told me it was in fact still available. On top of that all the vehicles we were shown by a different gentleman that worked there were rusted, high mileage, dirty, and way over priced. He had no knowledge of the cars he was offering he kept having to refer to a sheet of paper for any statistics we asked about the vehicles. I do not recommend this company at all and I would advise the owners to better screen what they are offering and allowing their employees to share.

I placed a review before but I believe it’s time for a update. This 2006 Ford Escape that I bought 2018 of spring. Since then I have had to pay for constant repairs on this vehicle. Now let me make a disclaimer! We all know or should know when you come to a car place like “House of Cars....” your expectations for quality and integrity is not high at all. But like most of us. Issues, money, etc required for us to have to settle! “It is what it is!” However, let me help some of you. If you can purchase a vehicle from another place, DO IT.I have spent $1,000 on repairs that were not disclosed, and of course I asked for car facts. The documation I received from this was falsified. When I took the car to my mechanic there car had been in an accident. The engine light “mysteriously” popped on (7 days) after purchasing the vehicle. I took the car back to them the round go around. They “fixed” the issues for free and told me it amounted to $500. The next week: The same noises! I don’t have the tolerance to put up with stupidity. Therefore, I made the choice to repair the vehicle myself.BAD struts, ripped CV boot, bad suspensions, and I got all of that fixed. And there’s still some more work done. Like I said. Situations happens and you have to work with what you can get. But I will never comeback, never recommend this place, and the only reason they have reviews is due to them overwhelming clients “in the midst of a sale that’s not finished” to post a review.Their appeal simply because everyone is approved. However, the cars and service is cheap. All of them are “wonderful” until you confront them. When you confront you their tone and service quickly changes. To me that comes off as untrustworthy and sinister. Also, the mechanics, nice people I am sure, however, their craftsmanship is HORRIBLE and CHEAP.If it wasn’t, I would not been paying $1000 to fix what everything that THEIR receipt said was repaired for free.

Hubby and I got a vehicle from here and had nothing but problems with the vehicle from the time we got it. And just saw the vehicle was posted for sale again two days ago and they are lying about the mileage on the car. When I got it back in August the mileage was 146,000 and when we gave it back there was over 160,000 and now all of a sudden there’s 125,000? Plus they NEVER contacted me about getting my plates back from off the car. The ONLY reason everyone leaves good reviews is because you’re asked to when you purchase a car.

Well car shopping sucks, always have to do research deal with a car dealer who promises the world, but rarely delivers, and after leaving you almost feel as if youve been lie too. Now after me and my wife visited here I have a different attitude. The dealer, Mike was very friendly, not once did he mislead or over pitch a car. I felt like I was dealing with a honest person giving me the facts. The man even showed us a different car similar to what we where original there for and didnt press us into looking at something we didnt want. He let us look the car down top to bottom, test drive, and offered us a warranty on it that the dealership doesnt make a time off of. He also brought up that if there was any issue with the car that we could call up there and figure out a solution, that would get the car back on the road. Normally I try to talk the dealer down to a lower price or to include tax and title in the asked price, I did not this time. I was extremely happy with the car and asking price that tax and title was not worth bartering for. Hell they couldve asked for more and I would have been sold. Again I was extremely happy with this car lot, impressed with how fast they got me in and out and felt like they gennuinly cared about the fact that we were the customer, not once was I pressured into something I didnt want, or felt that I was being lied too. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable transportation, and kind people willing to deal with you!

So they agreed to pay half of the bill to fix it.i sent them the bill and never heard from them again.and to top it all out the car had a bad transmission.Worst experience ever!!!

I really wish I could give negative 5! Mandy has a very nasty attitude! She tells you one thing, than when you bring it back up to her, its something totally different from what she first said! I paid $500 something to get my alternator and oil pan fixed and a new battery on my car by them today she claims she paid for the alternator $200 something cause the other one didnt work once again this just came up today never was told that by her but Im thinking a battery and oil pan wouldnt be $500 something by themselves she kept saying she gave me a print out of the amounts but she never did nor showed me what everything cost I was told I owed $75 for an extra hour of work then today it turned into $100 something the last time I drove my car (the night the alternator went out) my car was not smoking or knocking but since they took it over there my motor is knocking and the car is smoking they let it sit on the lot for two months without starting it they didnt start it until the day I came to pick it up I was told I owed $600 something on my car but today its $500 something cause she claims she took off all the late fees for being late I was late two times with my car note in November was the first and i took them $580 for November and December payments the second time was last month and that was because I was planning on paying it off until she told me $600 something when my receipt clearly says $575 with the extra hour of work on it I will never ever deal with them again and I wouldnt recommend anyone else to oh and f.y.i. if you go with one of the down payments below $2000 they dont put work into those cars whatever is wrong it stays that way its just to get people from A to B thats what I was told by Mandy

One of the WORST car lots I’ve ever been to in my life, I leased a car and within a week of having it the motor went into limo mode after putting 1500$ worth of work into the car, because I was told it needed a new Converter, When asking them what could they do to help me out about the situation they told me to bring the car in so they could do a motor tear down ! Please save your money he gets all his cars from the auction and he buys everything with 170k miles or more ! Cheap RIP OFF !!!!
