I ordered five sets of shutters online. I could not find anything at the typical stores. Thankfully, my search resulted in MBS. Not only did they have a great selection and good prices - I got my order quickly. Very thankful I kept looking! The shutters look great.

Brian was a big help with the custom window order. My latest order was for a nonprofit group and was processed as two different orders. A large deposit was paid to order all the windows and and large enough to cover one entire order. The store manager would not release one order because of policies? It so happened that a group of volunteers would be available the next Saturday at the nonprofit but I could not get the order released. I was willing to write a personnal check to cover the order until the nonprofit check arrived in the mail but no go per the store manager. It seems to me, the manager did not want to work on a solution. Unfortunately, all the volunteers will know why they are not installing windows and Modern Builders will become part of the conversation.In response to management. The manager has my contact info and has not reached out.

Rob and his team are always working to improve their process to better serve the contractor! I like seeing the guys change hats when they need to get things done! The first 3 months we used m.b.s I thought Rob was a delivery driver/ material handler... he is alway helping were the team needs him!! Keep up the great job guys!!

Modern Builders Akron is in my opinion the best supplier of building materials in the business. There customer services is 5 star with the products and prices to match. The manager Joe is hands on and quick to listen to any concerns I might have. They make my job so much easier

I visited this place for some fasteners for my shutters on the recommendation of a neighbor. I was pleasantly surprised at the great showroom and friendly staff tucked away in this little spot in Akron quite amazing. will definitely think about them again the next time I have a project for the house.

3 out of 4 orders were wrong, took many tries to correct some of the mistakes costing lost rental revenue. Blamed mistakes on their vendor. Since the vendor would not make it right with Modern Builders Supply they did nothing to make it right with me.
