Ill never forget the first time I was in stuver springs because thats the first time I went anywhere with my Dad we took his old Ford and a worker there tried to by my pops truck it was a great place then and its not changed much hands down the best place to take you vehicles good atmosphere great work that you can trust.

They worked on my fiancé’s truck and did an awesome job for a great price!

Very helpful and didnt try to sell me more than what was needed. Was able to get a new leaf and all the hardware much cheaper than having to replace everything. Also Very quick service

Basically whatever you need fixed (truck and trailer related) is going to be done fast and right at a price that can’t be beat. Every one of them is there to do the best job they can. Been using them for over 20 yrs heavy hauled meat from chicago vegas L.A. split and brought produce back to garlandos and castalinis when they bought it there was never a shop from here to the west coast that was fair and more honest than stuvers heavy long distance hauling requires springs and stuvers the best there is from coast to coast call 3 places before you call them make sure you are sitting down when they tell you just how much they will charge youll never call them first 3 again

Best place in town for anything suspension. Get my u bolts here every time and all the guys go out of their way to help with anything I need. Just there today they took some studs that needed heated up to get off. They did it for me no questions asked and found me longer ones I needed. Awesome customer service!

Although its been nearly 4 years since I last dealt with Stuver Spring, I felt that I should review the experience I had.I purchased a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L 5 speed manual in late 2011. It had the typical weak rear lead springs that would sag with even the slightest amount of weight in the trunk. I grew tired of the rubbing noises I would hear when I would drive over rough expressway bridge expansion strips, so I decided to look into getting my rear suspension fixed.I actually work as a service technician at a luxury car dealership in Akron and always work on my own cars/trucks. I priced out new and used leaf springs as well as all the bolts and hardware that would likely break from the typical Ohio rust. From what I remember, it was expensive..$400 for parts only.I remembered a guy I worked with had mentioned that Stuver Spring might be a good alternative to fixing it myself. I gave them a call and was quoted over the phone a very, very cheap price. I decided to take my Jeep in and have them do the work. They installed new bolts added a leaf and re-arched the springs and I paid the same price as they quoted me. It was over $300 cheaper than doing it myself. What a perfect experience.I vow to never mess with a leaf spring/shackle ever again. This shows that even 4 years later, a good experience with a business is not easily forgotten. Thank you so much.

You will not find better quality service for suspensions and u-bolts ANYWHERE. The guys in the shop are polite, friendly and extremely informative! The guys in the office are just grumpy and old. But dont let them get to you, lol. They make u-bolts custom to any size and length on the spot. Saving you a lot of money. I first found out about them when I came to Akron for college, and have been going ever since for my u bolt and leaf springs purchases. Great place, with old time values and service.Update 9-12-14: I no longer live in Ohio but I remember this place dearly. Miss this place so much. I build a lot of off-road 4x4 toys and have needed them so many times since the move. You will never find another spring shop that can do work so quickly, efficiently and for an unbelievable price.

I take my Class 8 trucks and my personal Vehicals along with sending other people to them.Everybody loves them!!!! they are all a great group of guys!!! that take pride in there work. they havent been around for decades by accident!!!!they do the work fast and at a more than fair price.They do more than springs just call and ask and they will give you a more than fair price.Today they are fixing one of my trucks and I know im going to get great service and a great price!!!!Keep up the great work guys!!!!

I was told this company has been around since horse and carriages. That may be a stretch, but I fealt they did a good job and fixed my truck the right way with reasonable prices. Awesome people. Had some issues with leafspring squeak (Bad )they fixed. Other places 2 had no clue..experience pays off in bussiness since 1945 and it shows...

Picked up some U bolts from there no problem. Ive taken my truck there in the past and they forgot to tighten my shocks back up. Otherwise a good place to go.

I had my rear leaf springs de-arched to lower my 55 pick up. They also removed/replaced the bushings and I bought new u-bolts from them. I dont think Ive ever been so pleasantly surprised at seeing a repair bill. They could charge more for their services but dont because, apparently, they have some ethics about them. They certainly dont have the attitude to charge whatever they can get away with. I wish more companies had this same philosophy but this is obviously extremely rare. Honesty and integrity stand out nowadays because its not something we see too much of anymore. Hats off to you guys! Make sure all your techniques get passed down so this skill doesnt die off as many others have.

Used these guys about two years ago when I had a leaf spring break on my Duster. The springs that were on there had been installed by the previous owner, and they were longer than stock. I was living in Cleveland, and I discovered that there was nowhere in Cleveland that custom-made springs. A buddy tipped me off about this place, so I called them and they told me to bring the car down. I dropped it off at like 8 am, and they told me about a little place just down the road to grab breakfast. My buddy and I went, grabbed breakfast (the place was excellent), and the car was done by noon. The price for two new custom fabricated leaf springs and labor was something ridiculously cheap, I think it was like $220. If I ever need springs made again, I will definitely make the long trip to see these guys.

Their guy sold me springs that were supposed to be 1mm thinner than the ones i needed. Well completely different arch. I called to address the issue. They said they would swap them. A couple weeks go by, no call grom them. I called and the ladY said she would call me that friday. Needless to say i never got called

This place was amazing. The rear leafspring in my Ranger snapped. I got a reccomendation from my father to visit them. I called them and got the info that they were first come first serve, so I headed up the next morning. After being greeted by the very polite staff, I dropped off my truck, and got a phone call about 2 hours later. There were three cars ahead of me as well. They worked quickly and efficiently. The leaf spring was repaired, and the bill was extremely cheap. I would reccomend this place to anyone with any spring or shock issues.

I have been doing business with Stuver springs for over 20 years, I have used them to change springs and shocks on GM trucks, they have always done a very good job for us. I own a business down the street and highly recommend them.
