We had a wonderful experience with Eastside Maytag. They were prompt when coming out and communicative when they would be there. Our service person, Jason, was polite and efficient. Bonnie who answered my calls a few times went above and beyond to help make sure we got a part as soon as possible, which we appreciated so much.

Called to find a replacement appliance bulb. Waited on hold for almost 5 mins, then sales rep was acting irritated with my request.Gave him a model number and he said it was not sufficient. Come on, its a 24 18 watt fluorescent bulb.I will shop parts anywhere but there.Had some real groovy tune on hold though.

Have used them in the past and have great results with them fixing my appliances. Called 2/3/21 to have a brand new dishwasher installed. Quoted me $120 that covered delivery (if bought through them), install, and getting rid of old dishwasher. I said how much just to install since everything is install ready. Was quoted 150$. How can a service that is less work be more money? Will never go there or use their service again.

I have used these guys as well as my family members for several years now. They are reasonably priced and have great service if you have an issue with your appliances. They have recently repaired my stove and my fridge, and im quite pleased with the work they have done.

UPDATE: 2 weeks in and the washer broke so down to a 1 star.... Pretty poor place to shop. I called in one day prior to picking up a washer and they said they had it in stock. Went in the next day to pick it up, I needed it that day because my previous one broke and I didn’t have time to place an order on one, and the couldn’t find it. They came out with a washer that was opened and not in a box. He said it was “brand new” but it had paint chips and scuffs on it and offered a 25 dollar rebate, then I asked for 50 and he said yes to call the manager. The next day called the manager and he said 30. Just seems like these people are not on the same page about much.

Excellent experience with Eastside Maytag. We needed a very specific and very expensive downdraft range to replace one that couldn’t be fixed. I didn’t trust a big box store to install it properly, so I decided to try Eastside. They happened to have a slightly dented one (in the back—you couldn’t even see it!) that saved me $1,300. Jason came out to install this beast and fixed the belts on our washing machine while he was there. Great service, nice guy, huge discount—everyone at Eastside went above and beyond for us!

So we called back in may about our samsung fridge. They said they dont deal with them so they referred me to this guy named Jeff. So he comes out and replaced whats called a drain kit and charged us 290 bucks. The part went bad 2 weeks later where water is piling up under the fruit and veggie drawers.Ive been talking with this guy since may and he keeps coming up with excuse after excuse saying the part is not available due to covid. Today he gives us the part number and its 30 bucks on Amazon. So he charged us 280.bucks to put in a 30 dollar part.

I love this place. I get all my appliances there. The owner Bob is the nicest guy youd ever wanna meet. Hes extremely accommodating. He does whatever it takes to make things right. Theyve got the best stuff and the biggest Bang for your buck. And even if its a scratch and dent youd be hard pressed to find the scratch or dent. If you dont look here first youll surely miss out. Go see for yourself!

Eastside Maytag has been in the Ellet (East Akron) location for many, many years, providing sales and service with a professional touch that you cant get with large DIY stores. I cant express how important it is to patronize businesses like these. They know their products, will give you all the time you need to browse, and answer any questions you have. Great deals on scratch and dent items too!

Dropped off our washer on Monday was told Tuesday the part would be in in a few days. By Thursday I got a message it was done and ready for pickup. Went to pick it up and it hadn’t even been started! By the following Tuesday it was ready. Such a lack of professionalism!

No lie, I was a difficult customer. My refrigerator broke down after just 4 years. I was pretty mad. At least I had a 5 year warranty. Not only did Eastside Maytag send a repairman at no cost to me, but they went way above and beyond with my replacement! From sales to delivery, everyone has provided excellent, personalized customer service! Certainly wouldnt get the same treatment from say lowes or Any other store. Highly recommend! So Im pretty impressed with Eastside Maytag right now. When my 18-year old Maytag washing machine finally broke down, I called another local appliance store who advised me to buy a new one. Instead, I called Eastside who sent a repairman (Jason) out the very next day. Jason diagnosed the problem right away (it was something completely different than what I was thinking) and fixed it on the spot. The whole visit took less than an hour and now its time to do some laundry!

Very nice people, long time staff. If they dont have your part in stock its usually there the next day. Service call is better priced than most others, & the repair guys are super nice & friendly. Have never gotten a bad vibe from the service experiences Ive had. The scratch & sent building in the back has some great deals!

Best appliances you can get pay a little more for so much more I have washer and dryer as well as stove and want a refrigerator will be my next purchase if you looking to have your unit maintenance or purchase new units this is definitely the place to go they carry nothing but Maytag and it is 100% the best

I had Eastside fix my dishwasher a couple months ago. Fair price and the tech was very good. I wanted to get my 2 cents in because I think their overall rating doesnt reflect my experience.

Bad experience. Was told the part for our dryer would be in within 2-3 days. Took 32 days. The price for the part alone we needed they charged $90.00. It is currently $8.58 on Amazon. Every time I called the store all I could get was an answer to the effect of the part being on backorder. While being without the dryer for over a month, we had to rely on friends and family. And when they weren’t available, we had to spend money at the laundromat.The technicians were friendly but I do not recommend.

They almost always have what you need in terms of parts and they have excellent deals on scrat and dent appliances. If the prices were more inline with the few other places to purchase appliance parts they would be 5 stars for sure.
