Called to get the cost for flu shots and the female who answered sounded like she didnt want to be bothered. Then when I asked her about the cost of the shot because I was going back to work in the medical field the young lady sighed and hung the phone up in my face. I called back and got no answer. So I called back a third time and asked for the manager. Yet again I get someone on the phone who doesnt mention their name. So I asked her and she stated her name was Laurie. I asked if i could speak to a manager and she put Charles T. on the phone and he quickly took up for this young lady stating she did not hang up on me. I could clearly hear her hang the phone up. I am disgusted!! For someone who has been working in healthcare for 6 years I would never treat a patient/customer like this. I was eventually sent to the pharmacy manager and she too didnt give her name I had to ask for it. What happened to people being excited about their job and wanting to help people. I know we are still in a pandemic but geez. I wont be receiving a vaccine from this store. I will shop somewhere else.

Sad to say this is a dirty store probably because there is not enough staff to keep it clean the only time it was relatively clean was during covid then as things started to get some what better - the dirty came back. The areas that are dirty are dairy (milk area) meat dept package meat area and produce its sad because there is such of variety to shop for. I would hate to see whats behind the doors (And lets not talk about the restrooms). I rarely go to krogers (If I do I only buy packaged items) many of my friends feel the say way we shop at Publix even though it cost more a clean store really matters to many people. Wheres the health inspector?

This is a great store with a wide range of selections but I literally saw a RAT and it scurried across the floor under the chip display while I was looking for some ground beef!! Flies were also eating around and on the produce and I saw a dead fly on top of one of the cakes. Take your chances here

Rancid baby back ribs back and spoiled mascapone cheese - probably not the best place to go for meat and dairyWe purchased and frozen the ribs in September. Now in October we found out that the meat is rancid. We are very disappointed.

This store is disgusting! Full of German cockroaches. They were literally crawling all though the candy display as I stood in the checkout line. I tried to tell a manager but he/she was too busy. I called corporate, who knows if they did anything. I will NOT shop there ever again. People be careful, you bring home those disgusting roaches and youll never get them out of your home.

The pharmacy doesnt answer the phone for over an hour. The store manager was no help. He said just keep calling like thats all I have to do.

I dont know what has happened to pharmacy but they have become rude. In the the last year and half they have change so much. Imdriving an hour and a half to get a prescription be cause it is cheaper. You have workers that dont know a certain company makes a strip for a a glucometer and they are a pharmacist. The workers are rude. I miss the 2 Male pharma cist

If I could rate this zero stars I would. I am a regular customer and shop there all the time and will no longer be shopping there. On the evening of September 4th 2021. I was about to check out at the self checkout and there were two mice crawling all over the registers and the candy by the register the one mouse dropped down and ran in front me.I immediately asked to speak to a manger he came up and acted like he didn’t care. I left my cart full of food around 200 dollars. Obviously this is very unsanitary to have rodents crawling on food and were people touch. I will no longer be shopping at Kroger

Large chain grocery store with a home town feel. One of your larger Kroger stores but the staff works hard keeping the store clean, maintained, and stocked. A manager was outside running a blower across the entrance as I was going in, lol 😂. I went inside to grab some pens and was able to take a nice wall through looking for them. Multiple employees asked if they could help and on the third personI gave in and they brought me right to them. Good selection and price was 👌.

Kroger has gone down hill in the last year! Took me 45 minutes at self check out to ring 15 things. Was so slow! Meanwhile self check out girl is on the phone playing a game in between resetting my machine. Was soooooo slow and after 45 min I asked the girl if she could ring me up or I would have to leave bc I had a buggy still left. She did it but not with a good attitude! I would understand if she was slammed but I was the only one in the store checking out! Get it together! This is everytime lately!

The night attendant service was terrible and very short staffed I would highly recommend not shopping here

I like Kroger because of their 10 for 10 deals. They have a pharmacy on-site so thats helpful! I do not like their parking lot. They dont get carts enough & theyre all over just waiting to ding your car. Most employees are friendly. So overall theyre good.

Kroger has several specialty areas, cheeses, olives, breads, large boutique style kitchen accessories area: china and silverware sets, pressure cooker, toaster, its an mpressive selection!

The pharmacy had two staff female members one with blonde hair in a ponytail, one with brown hair and blonde highlights low ponytail. The first one didnt have a mask on at all, no face shield either. The other was wearing her mask under her nose no face shield.

Wouldn’t recommend for the pharmacy unless you have at least 30 min - 1 hr to wait for already filled prescriptions. Also, the store is constantly out of basic staple grocery items, I really dislike coming to this location.

The prices are great you can find almost anything there godbless

The store personnel are exceptional! Especially so during this Covid19. The pickup service has been perfect, just wish the meat department was a little better.

The pharmacy is AWFUL!! I waited 30 minutes before getting my prescription. Jeffrey the technician/cashier was very nice and friendly and apologized, but I observed the Pharmacist on duty, whose name is Ronnie Lee sitting down the entire time. She sat there while all her young technicians where scrabbling to take care of the customers as quickly as they could while being professionally, and friendly. They were running around like chickens with theirs heads chopped off. I felt bad for them. Also, since I was there in line for entirely too long of a wait, I also witnessed Ronnie Lee wipe her open palm on her face and what she did next will gross you out. She opened a bottle of pills to verify someones prescription and then placed the pills back in the bottle for the customer like she did nothing wrong! That violates so many policies and regulations. I did complain to Kroger manager on site and called their Kroger 800 line. Who knows if anything will be done or NOT, but I WILL NOT fill anything from this store ever again!!

The store WAS diligent in sanitizing, then as soon as things eased up they went back to business as usual or should I say some employees did.They do not sanitize the self check-out registers as they once did. The employee looked at me when I pointed at the register and walked away.The unsanitary people will remain that way. The Bias in whatever way is still bias, whether its by age, genda, color, or race, this pandemic has not changed those people and management should be aware of who they hire.

Never use their grocery pick up. Several items were forgotten and when I called to see about correcting this I was hung up on twice and when someone finally answered I was told to call later because they were ‘too busy’ to take my call right now. Very disappointing.

I love this store. It has so many different choices of foods from all over the world is phenomenal. I spend a lot of time in the store but it has a website that you can download coupons on. Its always clean. The people that work there are the nicest people. I cant say enough about this store to give it the credit that it truly deserves.

The cashiers who know me are always lovely. I also appreciate the pagan representation in the Halloween selection (a bit cheesy, but baby steps). Thanks! )O(

Fresh food, good service and lots of variety

For some reason this Kroger is one of the more expensive ones in the area. Things like milk are twice as much as the Kroger in the next town. Clearance sales and holiday sales are also not as good as the ones at other locations... Youre paying extra for just shopping in Aiken I guess.

Best large store chain in Aiken to purchase things that are good for you. When they have a sell it is truly a sell. Love their cheese department best choices available. Love their free tastings. Always walk out with a smile on my face. And good cheese in my bag that carry out the door.

Update: Ive removed yet another star. Conditions have gotten worse, unfortunately. Theyre more crowded, slower, still forcing their awful self-checkout machines on their customers, and just bereft of any shopping pleasure whatsoever. My family and I now avoid this store as much as possible.This store used to be far better. Now they force you into the self-checkout areas while only having a few cashier lanes open. Its become too crowded, with items being out-of-stock, and a very slow deli counter. Im looking for a new grocery store.

A busy store but regardless I can always find a parking spot easily. The employees are never too busy to stop what they are doing and help you find what you are looking. Were always pleasantly pleased with our visit, whether for food or pharmacy. Weve found the staff warm and helpful...And coupons are provided for items we actually use, which saved us almost $35 on our last visit.

This store is dangerous to the health of my bank account! So much variety, always in stock, helpful staff and obviously well managed. Easily my favorite store for grocery (and other) purchases.

I don’t understand the hype over Kroger.Pros: They always have things in stock, good variety of products, friendly staffCons: ALWAYS busy and because it’s got a variety of things (Starbucks, pharmacy, Halloween costumes and other seasonal stuff, etc.) people take their sweet time stopping in aisles and park it there forever. I feel like it takes forever to navigate the store because of the amount of people. Prices are not really competitive, location can be difficult to get in and out of.Not a good place to go if you’re in a hurry.

Store is usually clean, well stocked, most of the employees are friendly few times Ive dealt with management they were exceptional. Gets busy sometimes but the staff always handles that well. Their one fault is that self checkout employees tend to wander off which can be a pain if you use self checkout frequently like I do. If not its a 5 star store. I shop there pretty much daily.

A bright, clean and comfortable place to shop. Retail items are well organized the prices are great. Wednesday is senior citizens day, so come in and get your 10% discount off of the already amazingly low prices.

The best pharmacy in the county. Always pleasant staff. Any problems with insurance, prescription information they will work with you until its resolved. Call the doctor, insurance company, what ever it takes they make you feel like youre the only customer in the store .

Whiskey Road Kroger is always nice, clean and stocked. Staff is friendly and close by for questions, the app also helps locating items. Today it was filled with flowers for Valentines day, a beautiful sight.

I have used solely Kroger as my grocer for about 4 years now. I live about 2 minutes away from it and they (I thought) had unbeatable prices. Because of the experiences I have had below I have tried a nearby competitor and realized I can save about $70 shopping with them, but I honestly prefer Krogers products.My main gripe is that the past 5 or 6 times I have been, my pregnant fiance and I have had to bag our own groceries. I dont mean in the express aisle either, we typically drop $150 to $250 each trip. I have not been trained on how to do so in a time efficient manner. Today I visited and a woman in front of me experienced the same thing. We both witnessed 3 employees standing off near the customer service counter just chit-chatting. It seemed they were joking with another employee whilst the woman in front of me bagging her own groceries stared at them furiously. I spoke with her after ( she parked right beside me) and she had the same story as me. She said she typically uses ( the competitor I have tried) now because of how poor the operations are at Kroger. I also had to make a trip right back because I forgot something and counted 5 employees standing around talking with each other. I dont mean to sound rude when I say this, but I believe that If I am going to be doing the job that the employees are supposed to do and not getting paid for it, then I should receive a discount at least! If this persists, I will move permanently to a different grocer.Thank you!

Work experience for click list. Don’t go to this Kroger. Who picks meat and vegetables that are going bad. Was told to call help desk and ask for refund for those items. If the quality is bad just say it’s not available.

My fave grocery store. Online coupons, cheapest pharmacy and they price match other local pharmacies. Gas points. The generic products are generally tasty. I like the small cart option, with cup holders, the Starbucks option, good prices, clean store, generally friendly employees who get to know you. I rarely shop elsewhere, except Aldi for general cheap Staples in rare occasion.

Best grocery store in Aiken! When I first moved back to my home town, things were really tight but thanks to Kroger, I can actually say, I never went to bed hungry because their low prices made it possible for me to survive on my own without having to ask anyone for anything and they have these red plastic bags for 1 dollar, they are full of veggies or fruit, I am actually able to have my vegetables and fruits everyday...Thank you so very much Kroger

This is by far my favorite grocery store. The produce and meat department are just top notch, everything is always fresh. The staff is always helpful and friendly. And the fuel points are a great perk!

Kroger has gone upscale compared to 20 years ago. This location has a gourmet cheeses and olive bar, a vast quantity of wine (ranging from $10 to $100+), dairy-free and gluten free aisles, international aisles with foods from Mexico, Europe, Asia, and more, discount sections, sushi, Starbucks, etc. al. It is a bit more expensive in some items but a lot cheaper than comparable stores in the area on other items. It would be very difficult to NOT find what you are looking for here.

I really like this store! I bought some fresh salmon and it was so fresh and delicious after I cooked it! Friendly customer service...the bag boy was so delightful...he was an older man and you could tell he loved his job! I will shop here often!

Kroger has the biggest selection of groceries around. Their various ways to save money, including personalized mailed coupons, keep me coming back. Its easy to see why they are always busy. Yet, they make checkout quick and easy by offering self checkout, express lane, and multiple large registers. Plus, Ive seen managers come and bag groceries or work the registers to help save customers time!

Only 2 cash registers open with lines. Store was crowded. Instead of wasting money putting in self check outs you should hire more people. So mad Im going to look for another store to shop at. Machines are taking over peoples job. I am not a happy customer.

I really enjoy my shopping this morning at the aiken Kroger in South Carolina. The attendant at the self check out was very helpful. Their attitude was awesome even after working all night. This make me want to become an early morning shopper.

Usually 4 stars, but total fail for tonight. Nothing but self check out open at 11 - 1 cashier overworked helping with the usual problems at the kiosks (including double-charging for items). Customers lined up down the detergent aisle to check out. Took 45 minutes to purchase 7 items. If youre not going to actually serve customers 24 hours a day, DONT advertise that you do.

Every line was open and very courteous. In the line of Irma all was excellent. Thank you Kroger. I built alot of them in OHIO.

Would be 5 stars if all produce was consistently good quality but on occasion theres a very poor selection. Otherwise the store is kept clean, decently stocked, and organized overall.

The price of the items advertised were not in the system. I brought a tag up showing what I was saying was correct and the clerk gaven me a very hard time at modifying the prices. When he finally did I even apologized to him cause he made me feel terrible for asking him to adjust the price as advertised. He responded with Im just having a bad day. I wont be back shopping here!

Kroger on Whiskey Road is ALWAYS very busy. Upon entering the front doors, a young man thoughtfully grabbed a wheelchair without any prompting. Ive had a major reconstruction of my right leg and he had the chair waiting for me.The elderly deli attendant was VERY WELL VERSED in all of the Boars Head Products. My wifes diet has to change and the attendant was more than accommodating.The produce section today, Im sad to say was a mess, with gnats, everywhere and lots of holes where fresh produce should have been. So I did not purchase any fresh fruits or veggies, Fresh Market got that couple hundred.But over all, very impressed. Keep it up.

Favorite grocery store, double coupons, and the cashiers are all really nice in my experience. However, do not use the machine in the bakery section. They usually ignore that someone placed an order through it and that just means you have to wait twice as long as expected to get your cold cuts....

I hate their pharmacy- even yesterday i had a problem,only because THEY take a cookie-cutter approach,to every situation. i always shop local,whenever I can.Their 24 hour pharmacy is only open so certain scripts will technically have tomorrows date on it,Knowingly breaking the LAW for a couple dollars & another customer they deserve.

Ive been on a maintenance medication for over five years and because they didnt order my medication Im having to go thru withdrawal this weekend because of it.... THANKS A LOT. MY KIDS WILL BE SUING YOU IF I DIE BECAUSE OF THIS

This pharmacy is 4x slower than the local Walgreens. It has taken them five hours to fill a prescription. I only come here because they are $10 cheaper but its almost not worth saving the $10. Walgreens has prescriptions ready in 20 minutes every single time.

Shelves always empty, always cluttered with to much nonsense you can tell they just trying to get a quick bucks and sacrifice employees to do it. The employees are great they are friendly even though they look way over worked and under staffed. The general manager Jonathan Orr I believe his name is is a complete liar, and feeble minded moron. Always says missing items are on the next truck, or yes I assure you its ordered and wow it never is just says that to shut you up and go away. Also his tool that is always folowwing him on his leg he s bald assistant manager who needs to be fired or sent to how to treat people 101 cause I always see him going off on employees And very short with customers. If it wasnt for those two I could over look some things.
