Love Down to Earth. Fresh! Fresh fresh. The food is so delicious. Today I was in the area for an appointment and I new I would find my plantains, but I was looking for green plantains. They didnt have any🙁. They had lots of ripped ones. But i still strolled around a few before leaving to head to my neighborhood DTE . The first time I walked into this store I was in awe. It still takes my breathe away. Prices have been climbing for many businesses. But still the best quality.

I love Down to Earth so much! They have the best, most helpful staff! I pick up Govindas freshly squeezed juice here, along with all of my essential oils and smudge kit needs!

Good selection of vegan products. I like that it is not a huge mainland chain of stores but local. It has a nice local-ish small town feel to it.Some things are less expensive than at that huge conglomerate store owned by a multi multi billionaire!!

Im a frugal shopper always looking for sales. I enjoy Down2Earth because of their hot foods to go and especially their discount items past 9pm. Foods close to the pull date are discounted for quick sale. Its wonderful to be eating healthy and saving money at the same time.

Finally found some vegan Musubi. So many great veg options!!

I love the Carrot cake and the exercise class did too. Now they have it sold by slices.

Something about this particular location, Pearlridge. They are not helpful and very snobby. Vibe is not welcomey at all.

This store is a Hawaii local supermarket that carries many organic, vegetarian, and/or vegan products. I find this store carries more variety of vegan products and vegan deli or prepared foods than other bigger nationally franchised organic/vegetarian stores. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Im in this store at least once a week to either grab takeout or grab some items for the house. I love their Mediterranean panini, and quesadillas from the deli. They also have pretty fresh organic red beets, red cabbage, and organic sweet potatoes, which we get often from the store. Definitely worth checking out if you like to eat healthy.

Great store. Lots of vitamins and supplements. Great for keto diet. Prices are a little high but worth it.

Healthy grab and go food items! If you’re in a hurry and don’t want to eat fast food this is a great option. This store has many hard to find specialty products if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. I was glad to find dye free marshmallows, dye free baking products, and my favorite dairy free coffee creamer here. The cashier was super helpful and kind. I also want to mention the organization, cleanliness, and amazing facing this store has. It feels like a movie set in there, the shelves are commercial ready, no joke. Impressive.

Down to Earth is the destination I stop at if I want a buffet salad for lunch or dinner. Stores are clean, staff is helpful and courteous. Parking lot has plenty of parking even at lunch time. Selection of merchandise is wide. The taste of organic or natural food is so much better than what you get in your average supermarket.

Large selection of organics and health food and drinks both prepared and groceries. Outdoor tables away from the traffic for eating. Free parking right up to the entrance. Popular spot for lunch and sometimes theres a line.

I love that they have a wonderful selection of dairy free hot foods, ice creams, and other cold foods. Lots of great organic fruits and vegetables. Very clean and friendly staff just makes this an even greater place to shop.

This is an amazing store, especially if youre a vegan or you just want healthy food in your lifestyle. They make juices and smoothies with fresh fruit and vegetables. They also make pastries, sandwiches, burgers and even pizza. Just got to remember, No Meat. They got all the healthy items as in organic foods and beverages. Staff here are friendly and kind. Its a clean environment and they also carry vitamins. Remember to wear a mask before stepping inside.

My favorite regular DOWN TO EARTH location is the kapolei store. I find my hubbys much needed BLK WATER as well as the best selection of ONO POPSICLES, GOOD POP POPSICLES, KETO ICE CREAM and other much needed frozen tempeh

Best natural and organic store on the islands. Local and environmentally responsible. Somewhat pricey but there are plenty of gems to be had. Great salad and freshly made food bar with a smoothie counter and free WiFi. Vegan and vegetarian options only.Each branch has similarities and differences. I tend to go to most of them at different times. Great ethos.This branch will be relocating next year to the Pearlridge Shopping Mall.

Smoothie, shake bar is awesome. You can make any concoction you want. Food, desserts, gluten free everything and dairy free items! Heaven 😂

Just starting vegetarian or vegan? This is THE store for you, pricey but they have what you need to be successful from a variety of cheeses to tacos and chicken nuggets and so much more! All meat free!

I did a quick stop at very early in the morning and I am intrigued to go back. I have visited the Down To Earth Kapolei location a few times and this store seems to offer slightly more variety due to the different store size and layout.

The warrior acai bowl has honey, goji, bananas, strawberries, shredded coconut and blueberries. Its yummy and made to order. The perfect cool down during this summer heat.

This New store is fantastic. More products in very category. My personal favorites are Veggie Burgers(Beyond Burger), Shakes (Custom Order), Teas (Morning Thunder) and loose items like the Chocolate (English Toffee w/Peanuts) (Coconut). Even though I am not a vegetarian or vegan, the flavor are great, and every one can enjoy great flavor.

Compared to all the regular grocers, it scores 27/10. Compared to other veggie grocers, its just typical. Im so pleased they still have the buffet of hot meals despite the pandemic. 8/10 .

The most amazing place for getting vegan, healthy groceries and delicious food! Every time I visit Im blown away by the great variety they offer and cant even decide which ingredients of the huge buffet to take for my lunch. Every single one is tasty and high quality. They also offer the option to refill your pantry with grains, oils and stuff. Its a pity theres no such shop where I live, Id go there every single day.

Very good place to purchase very fresh produce that is organic grown. They also have an AWESOME hot table for vegan meals that you can pick your favorite from. A very good bulk seeds and grain area with lots of different things.Also if you are a senior check out Senior day for additional discounts.

Frustrating getting a shopping cart, patrons cant destguish between the two types of shopping carts one is black, small; green regular. Food and health items wide selection plenty if fresh fruits and vegetables.

The cashier was very rude, my daughter needed to use alternative payment for items but misplaced her card..the cashier said to her, well cant she pay for it, meaning me..I was appalled by this action...then she commence in arguing with me.Need to retrain your cashiers in customer service...without customers she wont have a job, and your revenue may suffer as well.. She qas an older Caucasian woman with glasses...

Love this place! And they have upgraded the store in the past couple years. So nice, large, beautiful buffet area and chefs. Selection is fabulous and the bulk selection is extensive. You really must visit this place to appreciate it.

It was clean and workers were friendly and helpful. At checkout the cashier was friendly and quick.

My favorite store and restaurant on the entire island! I cant say enough about my experience here. It is 100% vegetarian and 80% vegan friendly. They have an excellent selection and an even better staff. My only complaints- they dont carry Daves killer bread (only bagels) and they no longer carry Eden soy unsweetened soy milk.

Great food but beware the alternative medicine pitch. No one working here is a medical professional and there is no evidence based, rigorous science used to back up the majority of the products they sell.That being said, if you just need some hard to find herbs, extracts, supplements, buy your grains in bulk, etc. this is a good place to check out.Also remember that veggie doesnt always mean healthy. The meat substitute stuff is very high in sodium. Veggies are good not just for their vitamins but also the fiber. Pulverized veg isnt the same as whole veg.

I love the salad bar. The fresh juice bar is great, love the wheatgrass & fruit smoothies. The pizza selection is wonderful & tasty. Plenty of available parking. This location is alot larger than the old location.

Love their avacado sandwiches and steamed potatoes. Recently tried the chili, a bit bland and could use a bit more spices.

Great vegetarian supermarket with lots of local and organic items. It might be a little pricy, but they have some amazing sales and the quality is worth it! The deli is amazing too, loved everything I had there.

I agree with the positive comments about this location, Ive been a Down to Earth customer since 2013 and Aiea store quickly became my most frequent shopping location because the cashiers and grocery stocking staff have been warm, professional and really great with making recommendations. However, yesterday I had the most dreadful encounter with the store management. While sitting in the cafe section enjoying my tasty purchases, the assistant manager, who happened to be Caucasian, came over to my table and said the seating area was for customers only. I replied that I was a customer, thinking there must have been a small misunderstanding on her part, and hoped I had allayed her concerns. Instead she quickly added I mean I can just call security. So I told her Id just purchased several items and could show her my receipts, adding that her assertion was beginning to appear discriminatory.She then asked if I was refusing to leave. I replied that I would certainly leave as soon as my purchases were refunded and I cancelled my membership card because shed lost my business and I wouldnt continue shopping there in the future. I handed her my bag of groceries and as she completed my refund, the police appeared. wow. really? well I guess if youre gonna go racist, go big or go home right? Who calls the police on someone who hasnt broken any laws or store policies?I have no idea what she was thinking or why, and I dont know if this review adequately expresses my disappointment, but after speaking with another African-American customer following these events and finding out that hed had a similar experience at this location, I felt its important to let people know what they can expect from the store management at this location, even as regular customer after years of patronage.

Cool store! Way too pricey. Salad bar can run you $20+ if youre not careful.
