Great evening here tonight. A very busy little gem of a place. Had to wait a while for the food but it was worth it, they kept the drinks flowing and the live music was an added bonus! The portions are very generous - we couldnt manage a dessert! Would definitely recommend this place

Lovely restaurant right on the beach, almost At Tropez feel, gets full very quickly, gorgeous food, really good choices, mainly fish dishes, attentive staff and very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Amazing jazz evening enjoyed here on a Sunday evening. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are far bigger than I would ever need but for some people that’s important. Definitely come here again and if you can’t make a Sunday they also hold jazz evenings on a Wednesday.

My wife took relative and friend this week. First visit, came home having thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent, well cooked and presented with generous portions. So helpful with questions and requests when booking. Staff friendly and welcoming. Ideal beachfront spot. They would definitely recommend.

Great place to go for fresh fish, skillfully cooked. My only complaint is how popular Pebbles is! This means that booking is needed if youre planning on eating here. Another concern might be the limited vegetarian selection, but that can be said of many restaurants and ultimately this is, at its heart a great fish restaurant.

Excellent location with sea views. Good food and occasional live entertainment during summer months. Inside and outside seating. Can be quite busy at times. Suggest booking at weekends.

Ok - its ran by kids who are not 100% in what they are doing. Confusing when you ask for things that they refuse to give you on a plate and three of your party get plates and knives and forks and the other has to go and stand at a takeaway window to order from the same kitchen from the same staff to get it in polystyrene with no cutlery. Ate it with the rest of the party at the table anyway. Also a bit irritating that the meal and conversation kept being interrupted by the staff not really knowing what they were doing, card machines not working etc etc. Also received a generous one ketchup sachet between four people. Would I come back? Probably not

I had the sea bass with seaside salad and new potatoes. It was lovely. I,ve had sea bass before and had hardly any taste. This was gorgeous! Partner had the burger chips and coleslaw and it was huge! He couldnt eat it all. Great food and very friendly staff. Would recommend

Went for a breakfast. The bacon appeared to have been cooked day previous it was hard and dry. The rest of the food was luke warm the toast was warm bread even when a couple nearby sent it back it still came back warm bread with no colour on it whatsoever. Really not worth the money

Fabulous food and service. Lovely long lunch in the sun today, just enough shade from large umbrellas outside or choose tables in the sun 🌞. Great menu choices but fish and prawns were amazing. Staff were efficient and very friendly offering a great service. Will be back soon.

Pebbles is situated on the sea front so you get some great views to the Isle of Wight. The menu is mostly fish and the portions are generous. Had 2 large sardines for starter; with some extra potato would have been enough for a main meal. There was a problem with one of our orders but it was dealt with quickly and without fuss. Staff observed COVID regulations and the room was well ventilated.

Booked a table, when we arrived there was no record of our booking (which was made three days earlier).Asked them if we could move to a vacant table that was out of the wind three times, the waitress said she would need to check all three times and didnt come back to us.Wrote them a message to say how disappointed we were, and I didnt leave a bad review because usually its very good. They said they would look into it and come back to me and didnt.

I wish they would have more unfarmed food. Fish farmed in the Solent polluted by centuries of dumping do not fill me with confidence with Solent farmed fish.Their sardines are very good👍I wonder if the the marinated olives could come marinated in something other than very sweet balsamic vinegar. Some herbs or spices and maybe even some garlic👍👌

Perfectly cooked octopus, refreshing salad and beautiful suclent prawns. The views are spectacular, one of my favourite places to watch the sun go down after dinner. A place not be missed

Not much choice on the menu . . Very overpriced for what it was .! Our starter King prawns consisted of 5 prawns peeled and floating in a thick bland tomato sauce . No taste of garlic or chilli at all. No bread or salad or anything served with it . Very disappointing for £8 . . .

Nice food, shame about the staff! Lovely food and generous portions, but slow, poor service coupled with totally disinterested staff. No one seemed capable of answering simple questions about dishes on the lunch menu and when they went to ask the chef, they didnt come back! My glass of water arrived in a single-use plastic pint pot (yes, really!) whereas all the other drinks were served in a glass! A very disappointing experience, especially as Pebbles had come highly recommended. From my experience, it is not deserving. Maybe a little complacency has set in ....?

This is the 2nd time we have visited here. Still the food is excellent and the staff are inviting & friendly. We will not hesitate to return for another great meal.

We have visited Pebbles many times, and always have a lovely meal, served by friendly and helpful staff. For many years we brought my Dad to eat here for his birthday and Fathers Day. He always had fish and chips and ice cream. He looked forward so much to his meal. The staff were so helpful. Jackie, particularly, always made sure that my Dad had a wonderful experience. Fantastic food in a brilliant location, what more can you ask.

Great setting overlooking the sea. High quality food that we have paid much more for this quality at other places. Staff very helpful and attentive. Now a regular place to eat and sit for us. Well done.

Again another favourite place I love to come for dinner or lunch. They served delicious food here and during summertime the Jacuzzi Band played here on every Wednesdays and sometimes Sundays. Whether you come here to eat or just to hang around outside the restaurant you will still enjoy the music, the sun and the view.

Very very slow service, not kept up to dates with issues by wait staff. All dishes very bland. Raw chicken wings, makes me want to heave just thinking about them. Unfortunately wouldnt return.

I have just had a plate of egg, beans and chips. The food arrived quickly and I cam honestly say they are the best chips ai have had in a long while, light and fluffy and delicious. My husband said the sausages he had were really delicious too. Thank you Pebbles for a great experience today.

Our rest stop on our walks in this area. The home made soup here is some of the best we have had. Extensive menu and very competitively priced. A real gem of a place.

Its a lovely day out but the cafe need to update the prices as they do they dont match what is on the website to what they are actually charging

Food was good, but do not understand why they had a reduced menu! (Understand covid restrictions- but food is plentiful in shops)This has an ideal location on sea front, but it is very cafe like inside with very dirty floors and windows! a lot more could be done with decor to make this a very special place. Not even a candle on table to make it feel like you are in a restaurant

An interesting menu for fish lovers, only one vegetarian main course choice. On a fine day this is a great place to watch the Solent shipping traffic and admire the Isle of Wight from a distance.

With COVID-19 this has been the only restaurant that we fell truly safe. Sadly, on our visit this week, we found it stuffy and warm, as there was no ventilation. After querying this, they opened a window and the door. Ventilation is key to those of us vulnerable to this dreaded disease. Other than this minor hiccup, the food and staff were excellent. Please, please, keep the restaurant ventilated. We would rather put on extra layers of clothes than feel stuffy and unsafe. We desperately want to keep you in business, but we can only do that if we feel safe. Good luck.

Excellent service. Tasty starters delivered in no time followed by main course. All hot and well presented. Well worth a visit.

Appalling service. Arrived for 12.30 booking, were immediately told that we would have the table until 2. Food didnt arrive until 1.30. Everybody around us was served, we just sat there with a whining toddler watching everybody eating. All sorts of excuses. When food finally arrived my husband who is a very ill cancer patient had to eat it standing up as he couldnt sit down any longer. 4 lime soda were taken off our bill. It was meant to be a special experience for my husband as we dont get out much.

Prices in this place are horrible, £2.20 for can of lemonade

Not a bad fish restaurant a bit pricey but we had to rush because tables book for somebody else well book next time and give it another go

Lovely food and fantastic serviceFood superb. Excellent service. Staff were able to advise on the tapas. Had to laugh as partner had never tried tapas before. Oil and vinegar on bread board lovely. Oil I had to grin when top came off and cork stuck in bottle. Young member of staff immediately replaced oil and when I asked which was balsamic they immediately replaced missing bottle!Will we return? Table booked for 3 weeks time me! Recommend a visit!!!!

This was my wife’s and my first visit here on recommendation of our dear friends. Service was exceptional, ambience exceptional and yes, you guessed it, food exceptional! We happened to mention in passing that it was our friends 60th Wedding Anniversary and were surprised and delighted to receive 4 glasses of Prosecco to mark this auspicious occasion before we left. Thank you so much for a lovely dining experience. We enjoyed it so much we’ll be back next week!
