Abel came over right on time, introduced himself, was very courteous and friendly, not just to me, but to our dog too! He gave me several different options to chose from before he did the work. This company is awesome. I called at 8:30 the morning after a spring on our garage door snapped and they had a technician, David, here by 3PM to fix it. I picked this company in particular because they had a solid number of great reviews online, and I wanted to support a local business. The first company I called had a dispatch center and was taking calls nationwide, so I had to wait for a local installer to call me back later. In the meantime, I found Abel. They answered immediately and quoted me over the phone.The final price was exactly the same as the verbal quote, but I opted to have the tech switch out the cables and pullies while he was here for another 98 bucks. He wasn’t pushy in the least – he told me they probably had another year or so on them and that it was totally up to me. Since he was already out here, I figured I’d do the responsible thing (for once).To replace both springs (best to do them at the same time), it was $139 each. There’s a $40 flat rate service fee, and a $99 labor charge. Replacing both pullies and cables was an additional $98. He was in and out in an hour. Total was just over $500.So, although I wasn’t thrilled with the fact that the garage door broke unexpectedly this morning, I was happy that Abel made the process quick and stress free. David was super nice, explained everything thoroughly, and got the job done quick. If his boss is reading this, you have a great employee on your hands.
