My experience with StoneTek was exceptional from start to finish.I found the company on Google while looking for a few local companies to provide a quote for a quartz countertop for a kitchen.I visited their showroom on August 20, 2021 where I was throughly explained the fabrication & installation process and the difference between buying from their new inventory vs. their remnant inventory (when available).I was able to find a remnant piece that fit my needs and decided to move forward. I was given a 3-4 week lead-time for installation however, on Wednesday August 25, 2021I received a call from StoneTek stating my countertop was ready for installation. StoneTek completed my install on Thursday August 26, 2021.Although my job may not have been big I can appreciate that the entire process from my initial visit to the installation was less than a week. Additionally, I can appreciate the recommendation of a remnant (which I had no idea about) if available, to optimize cost.I recommend StoneTek as I definitely will be using them again.

My experience with Stone Tek was perfect in every way. Our Sales Rep Mike Zot took time to listen to our needs, and answered our many questions. Mike showed us the inventory that was available and I placed my order with Stone Tek/Mike, knowing that I would be completely satisfied. Alyson, Office Manager called to schedule an appointment for the tech to come to our home to take measurements. The tech arrived on time, took all the measurements, twice for accuracy. Again a very pleasant experience. Just a short time later, Alyson called and setup a delivery/install date. The two gentleman removed my old countertops, and installed the new Quartz countertops. I just love my new countertops!!! My only regret is that due to the pandemic, I did not get these countertops sooner. My kitchen is just beautiful. I highly recommend StoneTek, Addison!!!!!

I would highly recommend StoneTek for countertop needs. Everyone there was super professional and kind. I wanted a waterfall countertop, and Michael really took his time to make sure the slabs matched up. Allison was always very clear and constant with her communication. The companys price was very reasonable, and everything turned out beautiful!

WOW! I normally don’t write reviews but I was so impressed I had to. From the very cool digital design of my existing tops (Mike) showing me how it will look. To the very nice and professional installers (Edgar). The job went very good. The only hiccup was, the sink came cracked. But someone came out to install it same day. To me it’s not what goes wrong but how you fix it. I look forward to doing my other bathroom with them in the future.

Not the easiest company to deal with as far as communication goes. But, at the end of the day we are very satisfied with the Quartz counter top and back splash. The person that stood out in the most positive light was Michael. He made sure were ended up satisfied and thanks to him we are.

StoneTek did a great job! I was told upfront that this is busy season and the job would take 2-3 weeks for install. They wore masks during the consultation. I am at risk so I was a little iffy to let people in my home but I felt safe during install all the team members wore masks and booties and sanitized before coming in. They were easy to work with and the final product was even better than we imagined. I highly recommend.

Had an extremely positive experience with StoneTek after going to five different countertop places in what felt like a 2 block radius. Marc was extremely professional and courteous (had coffee waiting for me when I came back in for a follow up). The use of technology was better than any of the places I went to as well. Used an iPad that made it very easy to visualize your project and you can see exactly where your cuts are coming from on the slab. Installation for a condo in the city was very timely, efficient and professional. Loving the new countertops!

Update: The business has given concessions and credits as compensation for this experience. Upping to three stars from 1.My experience with StoneTek has been extremely rough! They have non existent communication as soon as you pay. Successful remodels require coordinating work across multiple contractors. You want someone reliable and communicative. StoneTek is neither!StoneTek will reschedule your install multiple times without warning. You will complain to deaf ears and you will never be able to find someone who can hold to a committed date. You will get upset. They will offer plumbing services to make up for it, but you will still have zero clue when they will show up...While they were the most cost competitive, I would’ve gladly paid 10-20% more to not have the experience of working with this company. Look elsewhere for your kitchen countertop needs.

Horrible experience riddled with poor communication and being lied to several times. I hired Stonetek to install Dekton Opera from consentino 4mm thickness which was sold to us by Mike Zot as a durable strong material. We were remodeling our bathroom. Well he was a good salesman. We bit. In September of 2019 we paid the $4000 deposit and a week after purchase we were told the material was 2 to 3 weeks out. We could expect an install a month after purchase. No problem. This gave us time to build what was needed for the material to be installed in our bathroom. This is where the problem started. Installation date came and went. No phone call. I called them and they said its been delayed another month. This happened 3 times. Fast forward 7 months and after they ended up breaking 2 shipments of the 4mm I called and they said sorry well upgrade to the 8mm. Fine. 2 months later after no communication from them. I threatened to cancel my credit card deposit of $4000. Well This got their attention. I recieved more phone calls in the next day than I did the entire time prior since purchase. Mark M the owner agreed to cancel the 22% remaining balance as a consolation for the what would be an 11 month wait. Ok thats something. We moved on and they installed it.Now Stonetek is an approved installer of this product, but that is certain does not translate to anything. They installed it and it looked nice. The glass company Creative mirror and glass game out and installed a shower door about 3 weeks later. Awesome product from a professional company. Creative mirror stands behind their product with professionalism while Stonetek is far from that standard. Once the door was installed I closed the door the next day to find a crack. My heart sank. I called Creative mirror and they worked through it with me. They tried contacting Stonetek to no avail. I stepped in and contacted mark from stonetek personally. He said it was not his fault and it would be $4000 to replace it and he said that was a discount. What a scam! I told him that Creative mirror said there was nothing behind the tile behind the hinge. You could hear the hollow sound when you knocked on it. I was skeptical but fast forward 6 months after going back and forth with Mark from stonetek and creative mirror removed the door no charge and a piece of the tile fell off. Well well. No mortar behind the tile where the door was installed.I showed this picture to Mark M of stonetek and he has ignored me. Im stuck with a broken wall and another bathroom repair. On to more serious methods to recoup my lost.STONETEK does not stand behind their workmanship, has terrible communication, and has no integrity. Steer clear. If you want want to see pictures message me I can share everything with you. And Save the headache.

BEWARE! If you expect to get things you paid for or have any communication on your project, consider going elsewhere.We contracted with StoneTek for a one slab countertop job for our kitchen. Everything up until the point that they took our money was a solid experience. After that it has been a NIGHTMARE. They have rescheduled our install 5 times now! None of these reschedules were communicated to us. Had to find out by following up day before our install date. Due to the poor communication, we demolished our old countertops anticipating an install the next day. We have now been without a kitchen for 10 days and our next scheduled install date is 7 days from now.I have zero faith in our current install date or this companys ability to deliver on any of their commitments. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Great communication from beginning to end. There was a minor issue upon installation but the quickly remedied the issue and finished product was amazing. What sets them apart is their laser measure which many companies do not provide. The laser measure allowed a difficult, awkward piece to be manufactured in one piece. Highly recommend and will use them again

Countertop selection and installation was done at the end of our remodeling process. Although not the cheapest, we chose Cambria quartz because of the variety of beautiful designs to choose from and because it is made in America. Their Montgomery design has greatly softened and cheered up the look of our industrial kitchen.Our retailer and fabricator was StoneTek Design in Addison. We worked closely with Mike and were very pleased with the entire process from beginning to end, and with the result. The quartz is beautiful and fits the space perfectly. I love it more with each passing day.Mike accommodated all of our needs and requests, which no doubt exceeded those of the typical client. He was very patient with us and went out of his way to satisfy all our requests. We made multiple visits to the showroom where he answered all our questions, and he responded very quickly and extensively to more questions in our emails. He helped us to choose the particular slab and reviewed with us the computerized design of various cutting options before fabrication. He was the most thoroughly helpful person we have met in our entire remodeling process.StoneTek is a technologically advanced company. Tony, the measuring expert, used laser equipment for measuring on site and did so very carefully. The procedure looked more like preparation for brain surgery. Tony also gave us priceless advice on the installation. The installation crew was great and did the job quickly and efficiently, and without making a mess of any kind. Everything fit up to the millimeter. The crew even made a second visit to install a little piece that we belatedly asked for.In short, StoneTek’s men were very professional, hard working and friendly. They did high quality and beautiful work for us. What’s more, they really cared about our project with their full attention and dedication. These young men deal with cold stone but treat their clients with warmth and kindness. We are very grateful.

StoneTek fabricated a Cambria quartz top to replace an existing marble vanity top. They replicated the old top’s ogee edge profile and mounted a new undermount sink for us. Michael was a pleasure to work with and the finished product was perfect!

Horrible horrible horrible!! My husband and I booked an appointment online. We had seen their kiosk at Costco the week prior for the Cambria countertops but no sales associate.We show up five minutes early to our appointment without being greeted by anyone. We decided to look at some countertop samples while we waited for somebody to acknowledge us. After waiting 30 minutes without seeing anyone we left very agitated. We are curious to who works here or who even runs the place since we’ve never seen anybody or been able to speak with anyone to get a quote. What a horrible way to do business. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Bad experience from the get go. My wife entered the store and the sales associate told her what are you doing here? They also installed the countertops with the crease in the middle of the counter, instead of by the sink like standard practice. When we called back they told us it was out of their control and it was our problem. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Wouldnt go anywhere else, these guys are top notch!
