Brother bought a 2016 Silverado back in May, two months later the paint was bubbling and peeling off. Send them a couple of emails my self and my brother included, never got a respond. When I was finally able to talk to the guy named Brian I was told to take it so they can have a guy see it. Well we drove for almost an 1hr for them just to tell us its a GM issued and they couldnt do anything. It has being two months barely giving 1st payment and was basically told we were on our own. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES!!! wasnt even out the door and the guy was answering a personal phone call. If you are gonna sell expensive vehicles you should take care of them and not try to blame the maker just because google says theres issues with paint primer!

JUN 2019 - Just purchased my dream truck from these guys. I have to say, after being through a dreadful experience just last year, my faith has been restored in its entirety, but only for this dealer. Let me walk you through the experience.My wife and I found the truck on craigslist and went to their website. Its a great website and showed the truck off perfectly. I called Jorge and let him know I was interested and that I had a trade for the vehicle. He asked some questions about the trade and had me text a few photos to him (super convenient). Jorge was terrific, courteous, kind, and very proactive with the sale, but never pushy, or arrogant in any way. I hate the standard pushy dealer experience. We talked a few times about credit and the trade, and he always responded promptly and in full.Later the same evening we go to the dealership to look at the truck, not really intending to purchase then and there. After taking the test drive, we knew we wanted to purchase. Only about 10 minutes after letting Jorge know, Rene had everything perfectly ready for us regarding all the paperwork. The entire process took about 45 minutes and we were on the way home in the pickup. They even PUT MORE FUEL IN IT for me! That is something completely lost in the vehicle purchasing experience.If we ever want another vehicle, I will go straight to these guys. I will also recommend them to anyone and everyone I know. Hands down, one of the best purchasing experiences I have had.

If you want a feel good blip keep scrolling, this will be a true review for people to make informed decisions with.Everyone likes to have their picture made at the time of the sale & drive off into the sunset in their new dream vehicle. And that makes for a nice review. But what about when you fly in & drive 700 miles home & have an issue? THAT is the review you want to read. Thats me.I made a no hassle, no haggle deal over the internet & flew to Dallas to get my truck. Arrival was efficient & unpressured, we worked through a few little housekeeping issues & I was on my way. When I arrived at home the next day I had an issue, and I was wrought with worry that even though I bought the extended warranty protection the dealer would do the old standby of you bought it as-is.Nope. From the sales guy to the money guy, they were in it with me. Answered calls, questions, helped me get in the right direction & taken care of. Listen, there are buffoons selling cars every single day, in every town. These folks could have easily washed their hands of me when I cleared the lot & relished an easy day, but the way to tell who youre dealing with is when the happy picture time is over & you have an issue, who is standing beside you.Even more so Ill add this, they called me to let me know they found where they owed me money! I would have never been the wiser, but they went the extra mile.Texas Motorcars has done right by me. They stood by me, Ill stand by them!

First off, their website is excellent. The pictures of the truck I wanted were exactly what you look for as a potential buyer. I had a car that I was wanting to trade in but wasnt sure if a dealer would give me a good deal. When I got there the truck was pulled up washed and unlocked. Johnny let me do all the looking I wanted, as I am very careful with my purchases. Since it was late and I had no intention of buying that night, I was expecting to struggle with a pushy salesman but instead we just rescheduled for that Saturday. I was able to sleep on it, decide what I really wanted for my car, and finish the deal that weekend. Saturday morning came and when they offered me less that what I wanted for my car, we haggled for a bit and came to a happy medium. The whole process was quick, and painless. Also I had a small issue with the tailgate not locking, called them and they took it in the next day fixed it and had me on my way! Anyone looking for a great vehicle for a great price, I would highly recommend stopping by Texas Motorcars and talking with Johnny.

I just recently purchased a Truck there and had my own financing so they didnt have to do any of the work i did all the work prior to buying the Truck. I open the and i know the fire protector is hanging down so i ask if they could fix and they put some clips in but what didnt know is that the washer head was broken and the wiper blade were tore up....i communicated to my salesman the same way we had been but this time no response i spent over 115 dollars and didnt even have a week

Texas Motor Cars and Rene Cortina delivered a quality product and first rate customer experience! As an out of state buyer from Florida it is natural to be apprehensive. Rene answered all my questions and provided additional photos upon request. Once we came to terms on a number he even provided a Black Car limo to pick me up curbside at the airport with proof of a booked flight. The vehicle was detailed and full of fuel waiting right in front of the dealership upon my arrival. I gave the truck a good looking over inside and out including the underside. I was beyond pleased the truck was exactly as advertised and described. Following a test drive, I was in and out of the office within 15 minutes and on my way back to Florida. “What more can you ask for?” Following a pleasant and uneventful 1500 mile drive home I noticed the jack and lug wrench was missing. One call to Rene was all it took. He offered to immediately make good. His response was… “Please go purchase a new one and send me the bill. I will cut a check and get it out to you for reimbursement.” Life has been crazy and I have not had a chance to take him up on it, but I have no reason to believe Rene will not follow through with his promise! I finally got a chance to break free and purchase jack and tools. I submitted for reimbursement and I am told it has been processed and is in the mail. I would buy from them again tomorrow and would not hesitate telling a friend about them.

I inquired about a truck I was interested in, did the pre-qualification on it, had my credit ran, and no one reached out to me through out the process. Most dealerships would love to work a deal and reach out to their customers, but I guess not this one. I’ll definitely make sure to tell friends and family not to waste their time here.

I recently purchased a Dodge Ram 3500 from this dealership and I’ve had it two months and noticed the Def sensor wasn’t moving from full at first I figured maybe a fuse so I took it to a dodge dealership and they said someone had Tampered with it and there used to be a tuner on it but someone removed it and didn’t hook everything back up so I lost my warranty due to this because it’s considered being tampered with which is against the law. Now it will cost me 4800 to fix the problem and the warranty won’t cover it. I had a 5 year warranty that disappeared it two months. I found out that it will not pass an inspection when I take it to get inspected next year and the dealership says it’s not there problem they say they never knew about it. I feel like if you sell a vehicle you should know it’s condition and I am very upset with the service and vehicle I received and I do not recommend this place.

I came to see this place for its good inventory in vehicles and good comments in service. But wow surprise they have good service but very bad sales. I can not believe apply for a truck I have more than 750 points in my credit and I will give them 20 percent down and they never called me

We never got to actually come by, because we found a vehicle at another dealership, however we did give them our credit card to Hold a vehicle for us. We called them that same day to say we couldnt make it in, and we wanted our good faith money returned...Well, a month later, after several texts and phone calls, they finally refunded us, but not until we had already been charged about $40 in interest. Very frustrating. I understand the car business is a competitive one, but I think if someone is honest enough to pay to hold a car, then that dealership should have the decency to show the same courtesy in return. Anthony is who we dealt with, so maybe it was on him, but either way, extremely frustrating.

I bought a truck in mid May and it had some serious issues around the exhaust system. Anthony stood behind what he sold and made every attempt to fix it. In the end they bought the truck back and I found a different one from Texas Motor Cars and it runs great. Thanks Texas Motor Cars and Anthony for making it right and standing with your customer! I will be back!

Gave 2 stars because of pricing but I’ve had to spend $3,500 on fixing the truck within a month of having it and now even more to fix the weight rating on my registration because it was off by more than 10k pounds

Best car buying experience we’ve ever had! We’ve traded a lot of cars and have been to dealers all over the US but Texas Motorcars blew everyone else away. When we arrived to look for a truck to tow our RV, Rene was very friendly and helpful but also zero pressure. He gave us keys and was happy to answer our questions, but he didn’t hover and left us alone to look and test drive. He was very knowledgeable and made sure that the trucks we were considering could safely tow our large 5th wheel. We settled on a gorgeous F-350 dually. They gave us fair numbers on our trade ins and the finance process was seamless. They got us an approval from a local credit union in about 15 minutes for a great interest rate. A few minutes later we signed the papers and our truck was brought around with a fresh wash and a tank full of gas. Rene sat in the cab with my husband to go over some of the truck features before we took it home. I can honestly say that we enjoyed car shopping here! They made it painless and stress free. Although we ultimately didn’t purchase from them, I felt compelled to leave a review about our experience.You know when you pull into a car sales lot, and before you can get parked, you already have 3 salesman making direct eye contact and moving in like sharks? Yeah, that didn’t happen here. As far as car sales goes, this was the most relaxed, no pressure, no games experience I’ve ever had. We looked around, and after several minutes, Rene approached us, we told him what we were looking for, he showed us what he had that matched our needs and gave us space. He was friendly to our kids and just extremely normal acting. The aesthetic in this place is great. It’s a very cool place.Sadly, we ended up making a purchase at another place only because the car had significantly less miles. If we are in the market again, we will definitely come here first.

I purchased a 2015 Yukon Denali XL from the dealership. I have procrastinated for 2 years about buying this truck. I went to another dealership first that ended up not having the truck that I was looking for. So we ended up at Texas Motorcars. Its a nice dealership. I chose this truck in less than 10 minutes without really looking over the vehicle. Which I ended up regretting in the end. I signed the contract in less than 45 minutes and I was gone. I was already pre-approved with my credit union. After I got home and really looked over the vehicle I noticed that the tint on one of the windows was scratched and damaged. The defroster on the rear hatch was detached. One of the TVs in the did not work. There were three headsets and none of them worked. The vehicle was not clean. There is red juice and markings all over the back seat. The oil change is also due. I dont really feel like they looked over the vehicle very well before I purchased it. I do blame myself because neither did I. Rene did fix the TV, the defroster and replace two headsets. The other issues with the truck I will have to get fixed. It did take about a week and a half to fix and I was given a loaner vehicle which I appreciate. I think Rene is a nice but this dealership is a little questionable. Thank you for repairing some of the items but after making a $35,000 purchase I expected just a little bit more.

After speaking with Austin and making an amazing deal over the phone, I drove my trade-in all the way from Amarillo, Texas, just to do business here. I was in and out in under an hour and was impressed by how well I was treated. I would highly recommend buying your next vehicle here. Great place to purchase a vehicle!! Truck was as clean as they described it and was well worth the 51/2 trip. The staff was exceptional to work with (thank you Tracy and Jeremy). There was no pressure and they were open and honest. Tracy was great with keeping in touch throughout the transaction (as well as after the sell was completed). They had us in and out in under an hour after we arrived. We will not hesitate to purchase other vehicles from them.

I drove from Amarillo to Dallas, about 6 hours to buy a car from here and I was not disappointed, the dealership was very nice and clean, they sold quality well kept cars, and everyone was easy to talk to. Rene was the gentleman that sold me my car and allowed to talk the time we needed to test drive and look over the car. I will definitely look here first or get in contact when i buy my next car.

Found a great looking truck they even brought their price down some but had to bug my salesman for answers. Felt like because I wasnt sitting in front of him (because Im from out of state) I wasnt important and he was in no rush to sell me the pick up when I offered to pay right then if I had the numbers. Texas Motorcars has been a pleasure and has offered some of the finest vehicles in north Texas since I first heard about them Several years ago! I am a car guy and buy several cars from time to time and this place is my 1st stop! Shawn Conway, has exceed my expectations. I was working with him on a vehicle and the time, effort and professionalism is something I have never experienced. I didnt end up purchasing the vehicle yet as I had some un expected financial things arise. However I am still here taking the time to write this review as Shawn and Texas Motorcars deserves the recognition. After a few months of ownership of a nice f250 purchase from Texas Motorcars the bed liner has failed miserably. Improper install and shoddy work has left me with a truck bed that is a mess, peeling off in sheets. No prep work was made, no sanding the bed. Installed straight on a slick bed. If you buy a truck from them be warned, the bed liner will probably fail. Best to get it installed by a pro.

Awesome buying experience, and the easiest ever! I did all the paperwork being in Louisiana and Carmen Almazán made sure to make it as easy as possible for me. These gentleman claim to be good individuals but at the root they are spineless. I was in the process of purchasing a 2015 f350 long bed platinum from them the loan was finalized along with a purchase agreement all we were waiting on was insurance before shipping it. I’m a seasonal wildland firefighter and was dispatched to a fire before I could finish getting insurance quotes but I had signed all the paperwork and had other people working on it for me I then lost cell service for the two weeks we were working on the fire. The dealership had bought another truck with the same options but it was a F250 short bed platinum a gentleman came in to look at that truck saw the truck I had purchased and decided he liked it more then the short bed the dealership decided they would try and make two sells by selling that gentleman the truck I had purchased in hopes I would buy the short bed F250. All a man has at the end of the day is his word without that he is nothing. Anthony along with the owner of Texas Motor Cars are nothing short of spineless cowards that at the end of the day are just looking to make the quickest buck.

Live in Huntsville area, but found the car we wanted at this dealer in Dallas. Was able to get pre-approved for a loan better than I could get at my bank before we ever got there. Could not get there over the weekend so went in on Monday. They had the car ready, papers ready to sign and was a first class organization. Great experience, thanks to Tracy and the team!

The guys let me test drive the vehicles but had little knowledge on any of them. I told them that there was a relay making random noises under the dash of this 2015 f250 and they kept insisting it must have been the front license plate that was loose. They even rode with me after I kept saying it wasnt that. We drove around the block but I couldnt get it to make the noise again. By the time we got back to the car lot, the battery light on the dash was accompanied with a check engine light. We popped the hood like I had done prior and we found a wire bundle that the fan had eaten its ways through a few of the conductors. Pretty sure it was the cause of the battery light as it was going to the alternator. They rustled around and found a code reader that they said nobody knew how it worked. Finally got a code out of the engine and it was for an O2 sensor. That was the most they had done for us. Helped ME diagnose THEIR TRUCK! The truck looked brand new until you start looking under the dash at the amount of dirt built up. Most definitely was an oil field truck that had been abused more than anything I have ever seen with around 100k miles on it. It rode like a loaded dump truck with no shocks left. All they said was, we can get our mechanic to try to fix it and deliver it to you. I dont think yalls mechanic can fix all of this for less than $10k so I think well just be making our way back to Austin. They did let me drive a couple other trucks and they were more than what I needed but we had to keep finding them and then trying to use the crummy website to see if there were other trucks that we might want. They didnt even know what the rear end ratios were on ANY of the trucks. Too bad they didnt help us more cause we had cash which I dont ever tell a salesman while were negotiating. Oh well. Their loss!

Bought a truck from them last week and the process could not have been easier. Everything was ready to go when I got there. All I did was test drive the truck sign the papers. In and out in less than an hour. This is not your typical car dealer. This is a customer service organization that sells cars.What a fantastic bunch of people and a great company to deal with. Drove 5 hours to buy a truck at a different dealership and lucky for me it fell through, I had seen a truck I liked online that was located here and called to set up a test drive, I had the pleasure of speaking with Shawn Conway he was sympathetic to my situation and told me that the truck would be ready when I arrived in town. Upon arriving on the lot I noticed that ALL the cars were clean and looked to be in really good shape,which was a good sign. I met with Shawn and he gave me some information about the vehicle and let me drive it.I like the vehicle and how it drove so I proceed to purchase it and feel I got a fair deal on it. Being this is the Information Age all the prices are going to be extremely close its really about the service you receive, and the service and experience I had at Texas Motor Cars was top notch. Even though its a drive I will definitely keep Shawn and Texas Motor Cars in mind for my next vehicle purchase.

We were ignored for 5 minutes when we walked in. The guy that ended up helping us was nice but they had none of the 3 vehicles we came to look at from the website. They should update more quickly. Completely a waste of time.

Friendly enough, so they get one star.Bought an avalanche a few months ago and I had some specific questions about some wear marks on the dash and console. Salesman shrugged it off and said just some residue from when their cleaning guys went over it. Turns out it was all some kind of compound to hide all the hideous cracks in the dash. Huge cracks and 3 months into it the dash is completely wrecked. Dealership wants 600 to replace it.Battery was dead on start up. Salesman shrugged it off saying it just needed a jumpstart, saying the last customer must have left lights on. Nope, two days later needed a new battery. Completely shot. Trust your instincts.I completely get a used vehicle is going to have issues. But dont blatantly lie. I dont know is also an acceptable answer. Another start for the show room I guess

December 2016.Agreed on a price. Was on the plane to go up when I get a call that the truck had a turbocharger issue. Got off plane and waited. ($247.00 gone).They then called a week later and I flew up. They picked me up and I got to wait 3.5 hours as someone put gasoline in the truck. (It was diesel.)When the truck arrived, it was NOT in the condition they said. It had an obvious (bad) repainted left rear fender, the sound system didnt work, the headliner was shredded and it was a mess. The truck was definitely not what had been described.Before I flew home, Brian said hed pay for my flight home.Here we are two months later and he wont even return my emails.Total loss on travel, not to mention other incurred expenses, $743.00.Typical car dealers.

The test drive was one of the simplest parts of the experience, the people were the nicest salesmen. There was no pressure to buy anything, but after the paperwork was signed, there wasnt any celebration on the purchase.

Fantastic experience!! We found an Audi Q7 on the web site, and imediately contacted Brian to set up an appointment to drive the car. Upon arriving at the dealership, the car was waiting on us. After returning from the test drive we struck a deal and agreed to pick up the car 3 days later. The paperwork and transaction took less than 30 minutes to complete. The entire staff was very helpful and provided service with a smile. Great job Texas Motorcars!!

Stay away if you like the traditional used car buying experience hassles, questionable tactics, and sales run-around. Shawn C was 1st class in every respect while buying my car sight unseen out of state from TMCs. Shawn went out of his way to describe the car, send extra pics and videos and was honest and up front with no pressure. He found a tiny issue after I had bought the car, but prior to shipping, and wouldnt have it any other way but to make it right. Awesome service and a great deal on a very nice BMW.
