Im very pleased with my new cabinets for my office! They have transformed my office into a designer space that Im looking forward to decorating with books and other artwork.The two installers were also very respectful of my property as they moved the cabinets, tools, and equipment in and out of my home with care, and they wore shoe covers (at my request) and face masks. I appreciated all of this.

I had the best experience with Closets by Design. Ive never used a custom cabinet company before but would absolutely use them again for my next project. I worked with Brittni Shallit as my designer and she was thorough, professional, masked, very responsive and a delight to work with. She never rushed me and didnt get frustrated when I changed the design multiple times, and came out several times to make sure that everything would fit, as it was a remodeled space. She always answered my questions in a timely manner and didnt try to over sell me at all. The install was quick and the guys were extremely nice and professional, and the quality is fantastic. Everything about my experience exceeded expectations.

First Installation was so bad, it had to be removed completely and started over. Second installation was not AS bad, but not up to quality of work promised by, our Sales Agent (Sarah) from the start, The General Manager (Gia) and the Installation Manager (Steve) after the first disaster. Only offer made to accommodate the considerable inconvenience was $100 discount after we turned down the offer for a restaurant voucher.Now we are left to clean up the mess left over ourselves.Skip Closets By Design. Run! Dont Walk! You will be better off going with a DIY company similar to easyclosets.com. It will look better too!

I had a wonderful experience with Closet by Design. I love the beautiful storage/cabinets that was customized for my pantry and master closet. :) Debra went out of her way to assist me on a quick redesign as my stacked washer and dryer did not work in the spot for laundry storage and quickly sketched up a detailed design for cabinets before the install date. Excellent customer service and the installer was great too and did an amazing job creating the storage space that I needed. :)

My closet before was SUCH a mess. I live in a space where I needed my closet to not just house clothes & shoes but also books and linens, as I don’t have a linen closet or space for a bookcase anywhere but the closet. Susanne Walker came over, took a few measurements & my needs into consideration, & had the custom closet designed on paper right on the spot!! Another company I had requested a quote from came out, barely listened to my concerns, & took 2 days to send a design. By that time I had already locked things in with Closets by Design and I’m glad I did. It’s not inexpensive to do this by any means, but my peace of mind is worth every penny!! WARNING Save yourself TIME and HEART ACHE and read my post. I can honestly say I would NOT recommend this company. I PAID 10,983 dollars in full for the design and installation. They arrived and at the end of the install I had to stop the installers from installing the mirror over my vanity. I had requested that my mirror have lighting but the mirror didn’t have any lighting. Also the handle were 5 inch instead of the 7 inch that I paid for. Now after 6 non returned phone calls and 2 1/2 weeks later and 2 emails they tell me that they didn’t charge me for lighting on my mirror. This happened after I I accepted their quote and paid them. After much back and forth I agreed to give the an additional 375 for the lighting. They told me that they couldn’t even order the mirror until that was paid so I paid it right away. Now we are at 11,358 in the project started work on 6/21/21 was to finish on 6/22/21 today’s date is 7/16 approaching 1 month. They have not rescheduled the install of the 7 inch handle nor the lighted mirror. Spoke with Manager Tina Pruzzo on 7/06/21 I asked to speak with the scheduling manager but he was unavailable she assured me that the scheduling manager would call me to schedule the balance of the work. However I am still waiting that was 10 days ago. My husband called today and the scheduling manager is STILL unavailable! DON’T TAKE A CHANCE

Had a great experience with Closets by Design. Kirstin came out and designed out walk-in master closet and laundry room. She sat with us for a few hours and drew out everything by hand.The builders came out a few weeks later, and built exactly to the drawing specifications we came up with.The builders were efficient and very professional. At the end of it all, I’m pretty satisfied with the entire process. Closet looks great, and so does the laundry room. If you’re looking to have some spades redone, it’s worth having this company come take a look.

From the design consultation to the installation, we have been very happy. It looks great and perfectly fit our needs. The product is sturdy and so far we haven’t had any issues. The installation tech was on time and courteous, and he kept me informed on his expected arrival time.

I was the DFW Essential Worker Closet Makeover winner! Jeana had been out prior to the contest to help with a closet design and pricing due to my closet collapsing on me late March. We decided to put the install on hold due to the uncertainties of Covid-19. I was very surprised that I was picked for the giveaway! I am very appreciative that Closets by Design care for all of us who have had to work daily during this pandemic, potentially exposing ourselves and our families. Jeana came back out to help finalize our design and the installers came on time and completed our fast! I am so grateful and would recommend C.B.D. to anyone, not because I was the winner (because we paid extra for some extras), but the quality and level of professionalism!

I used Closets by Design to modify an existing closet that they had installed. The quality is good and they were able to accomadate my wishes by removing several items and replacing them to match the existing design. They did not come completely prepared the first visit but quickly notified me of the issue. My only negative comment is the amount of time it took from the order to installation, But these days everything is backorderd.

Heather came out as scheduled.. Got my wish list. Waited for the installation.. They came as scheduled and transformed my dreary space into a magnificent, functional room. Love everything about the whole process...pantry next!!

From the initial sales process to the installation, Closets by Design executed perfectly. Months ago we scheduled to have new cabinets and shelves installed into our pantry. The installation was set for today between 12-3pm. The time came and went with nary a peep from Closets by Design. We finally tracked someone down who advised that our installer may come later today, but even if that happened, would probably have to finish up tomorrow. Our house is in disarray because everything in the pantry had to be relocated and now we have to sit through another night of this. The total lack of concern on the part of Closets by Design was disheartening.Why do some businesses treat customers in this way? Why do they overbook and understaff so that they cannot live up to their promises? Why doesnt Closets by Design corporate more closely monitor their franchisees? Please steer clear from this business.

We chose Closet by design after talking with other company because of designer Shellie Wade. Shellie was so helpful and honest about their product. Not one time did she try to press us for a sale which we really appreciate. Shellie listen to all our concern and answer any questions that we had. Installation was done and clean up was preformed after ward. We was so impressed with the head guy who installed our closet. Our kids were so over the moon with the way their closets turned out.We would definitely use Closet by Design again and would recommend them.

My Rep told me that she would be there on instillation day, however she did not show up and did not give me a heads up that she would be out of town. Just had our closets installed by Closets by Design and it came out WONDERFUL. Worked with Tiffani Wei and she was an excellent consultant. Listened to our needs and wants, promptly worked with us on creating detailed drawings, provided guidance on our design and then made things happen! Had a follow up from her right after install to make sure things were to our liking. We will definitely work with Tiffani again with future cabinetry projects!

Stacie was very thorough in the design process. Took awhile but made sure we got the best design for our small space. Make sure you set aside several hours for initial appointment.The final product is beautiful and much nicer than we imagined! The installers were very good. Efficient and really cleaned up. I had a custom closet designed for me. It maximized my space, helped me organize, and prioritize my storage space making the most efficient use of every inch of usable space. My closet looks and feels so much more roomier. After all of my Husband’s things got put back on his side he had room to spare. I had plenty of room to spare on my shelves side as well. There were so many options to choose from too. Those little extras like the spaces for shoes, I love. What’s nice too is while you’re designing your closet they can bring it up on the computer and you get to see what it looks like first. You get to try a several different options here and there until you get what you want and get to vision your space before they ever put it on paper. Prices are reasonable and there is no car salesman like tactics trying to talk you into higher priced items. The design agent was wonderful. She asked what I was looking for, and what kind of budget I had in mind. If I can give her a shout out her name was Anne Mize. I’d also like to say her team is wonderful from the office people who call to make sure that paperwork is done and people are coming, to the guys who come and build it, who are reliable, dependable, fast, efficient and even clean up wonderfully afterwards. And all these people come all the way from Dallas to Wichita Falls for us. I would definitely recommend them.

The designs are very thoughtful and responsive to the needs of HOW people use their closets. They encourage you to live with it before making refinements. They are always available and return your phone calls promptly. And last but certainly not least, their pricing is affordable!

The Closet by Design team, a starting with our sales rep, Debbie Nicholson jumped into action after our closet was damaged during recent ice events. She initiated quickly and got her team moving, as we were trying to close on the sale of this property! I can’t say enough good things, from the original install, to the reinstall, they were all helpful! The closet is amazing to look at, good quality and very efficient!

Closets By Design was fantastic! Not only was the service spectacular but the product itself is stunning. My closet looks better then I could have pictured it. I am a very OCD person so organization is what I need. My designer Stephanie nailed the design, the installation department was extremely efficient and customer service gets an A+ for being responsive and accommodating. My entire experience was 5 star! If I ever move from this house, I will call them again to redesign my next closet!

The initial consultation was not the best experience and if it wasnt for the price, we would have gone elsewhere. The Sales person was a hot mess and kept us from 5 in the evening to 11 at night! Later in the process I discovered she no longer worked for the company so thankfully we didnt have to work with this person again. However, the rest of the experience was good. Ultimately the design was great. They were very responsive and accommodating when we had questions and needed to reschedule the install. The install went quickly and the installers were careful and cleaned up well once finished. We really love our 3 new closets!!! My only regret was not adding more lighting and accessories. We will use again when were ready to redesign our home office.

The closets in my house are very basic and I really needed someone to give my main closet a makeover because it was a mess. I priced out Ikea, Container Store, two online premade closet services, and 3 custom closet companies. Out of all these, Closets by Design gave me the best value for the money b/c not only did they LISTEN to my needs/wants and give me a custom solution (unlike Ikea which was the cheapest option) BUT they also made recommendations and changes based on their experience. Mariah, my designer was amazing at figuring out solutions to my random asks and was super responsive.The install was done so professionally - one item is backordered and they got sent a wrong color when it finally came in but they are following up on it already and I have no doubt will give me updates when it does come in.Highly recommend them!

They came in & designed a wall of book shelves for me. We had a small miscommunication with the number of shelves. However, they came back out immediately and made the correction to the bottom (locked) shelf. I am very happy with my finished shelf unit. It looks great! All my books fit perfectly. They came when they said they would be there & finished the project when they said they would finish. I was very pleased!!

UPDATE: The day after this review, Ethan came out and fixed everything. The door frame was repaired and repainted. The section of piecemeal crown molding was replaced. The uneven pieces were screwed in correctly. He even installed a complimentary valet and tie rack. Ethan was great to work with and made everything right.The meeting with the designer went really well. She was very good at listening to what we wanted and drawing a design that reflected our needs. She told us that our design was a basic one and install would be really quick. She indicated that our install date would probably be moved up because it would be an easy install. Our install date wasnt moved up, which was fine. Install took 6.5 hours. I wish we would have been told this upfront so we could adjust our expectations as the loud noise lasted through the entire work day. There are places where the pieces arent put together flush. The crown molding was cut in the wrong place and so a small cut piece had to be inserted between the shelf and the rest of the crown molding. After the install was done, we realized a chunk had been knocked off of the inside of the door frame. We contacted the company about the damage and provided pictures, but we never heard back. I wouldnt use this company again. The service did not match the price we paid.

When I decided to re-arrange my garage configuration this year, I called them and asked them to make shelves for the new configurations from the old blueprints they had on file. they did so quickly, at a reasonable price, and delivered them within three business days. Great service and they fit perfectly.

Working with closets by design was a great experience. The product they installed was excellent quality, working with the designer was easy and helpful. They worked with us to get the cost down to something we could afford. Very pleased with their services and I would recommend them.

I normally do not leave reviews, but I did want to call out Closets by Design for the outstanding work by the designer (Lauren) who really took the time to help me design the space in our garage for cabinets and slatwalls. Also, when I noticed some minor defects in the slatwall installation they immediately scheduled a follow up and replaced the slatwall. Highly recommend Closets by Design for their thoroughness and professionalism.

The consultation went well, but the install was a little rocky. The installers did not confirm what was supposed to happen in each closet and by 6p when they were ready to go they did not do a walk through with me. It was only my affirmation that I revealed that the closet design was not installed correctly. So I had to call the.office and designer to get this corrected before Christmas. When the 2nd team came out they corrected the error, but I was ripped of the shoe shelves space I was originally provided because all they did was a quick fix in replacing the shelves instead of installing the true shelf buildout of their design which I was still fully billed for.

Our designer came out and listened to our needs and measured our closet to find the optimal design for us. Installers came out and performed installation in a professional manner. Overall experience was excellent and we would recommend them for your closet design and installation.

We had an amazing experience with Tess - our designer. She assessed the amount of clothes and the shoes that the closet needed to accommodate and created the perfect design. We made a few tweaks to ensure that we stayed on budget. And we made thoughtful add-ons that gave us increased functionality. She was so committed to getting our install right including working with the construction team to get our install escalated. Jesse was our installer and he was extremely professional. Even after the install, Tess gave up tips on what should be hung and what should be folded. There was no wasted space. And now we are not living out of other closets in the house. Everything is in our master closet. I can’t imagine anything that would have made it a better experience.

The salesperson was very nice, but she made zero effort to stick to my budget. I clearly stated my budget prior to getting started. As we discussed options, she never indicated that we were going over budget with certain details. After two hours of discussing, measuring, considering options, she went to tally everything. The total was triple my stated limit. In fact, it turned out that very little was possible with the budget that I stated, despite my clarifying my limit when I made the appointment and when the salesperson arrived. Had I known that, I wouldnt have wasted my time and the salespersons time.

They installed 3 closet systems in my home and they are all gorgeous. The installers were prompt and they wore mask and worked very quickly. They were also very quiet, I was able work without any issues. :-)

From the initial contact to the design consultation to the install itself, they were professional and easy to work with. Final product looks great and couldnt be happier!

Fantastic job! Our closet consultant looked at everything in our closet and worked with us to determine the best way to organize & design a closet to meet our needs. The installation was quick and easy. They were out of the parts for one element, but immediately scheduled a date to install that one piece. There was a slight issue with charging the wrong amount to the wrong bank account, but it was cleared up very quickly and without any hassle or argument. I would use this company again without hesitation.

Design was very good, however it is very expensive. Every picture shows designs with backing, but that is extra and very expensive. They really dont want to help you demolition and paint before the installation because they charge extra for both in the many hundreds of dollars. This makes you feel like they just want to get as much money out of you as they can and they dont really care about the total quality of the final product except for what they are selling.

We needed a display for our product at our salon. Although they are closet designers, we gave them a vision and they executed so well :) Thankyou ! I would highly recommend!!
