Get an independent pre-inspection done! Beware Porsche rare blue top!Tried to purchase the 02 911 and was assisted by Louis. When I asked about technical aspects he had me speak with Jim who assured us his mechanic verified it was clean and no issues. When I asked about IMS bearing, he said it wasnt a Porsche mechanic & agreed to a PPI that I paid for. Mechanic stated car didn’t drive as expected. Suspension is bad $2.3K +coolant hose is rotted, likely thermostat, water pump & tank need to be looked at but that requires an engine drop. Theres also a steering leak & many cosmetic issues. Emailed Jim the report and, he calls embarrassed saying he fired Louis due to cosmetic issues found and will fix these items and negotiate a fair price. I was much more concerned about the mechanics but he only seemed concerned with dents & dings. After a week of waiting; find out he went on surprise vacation only got the cosmetic issues fixed. Said others are interested in the car so $16.9K take it or leave it. I said no due to damage and that I’d write a review. He got rude, asked why I deserved a fantastic car from him. I’d even previously said that I’ll fix seeping oil pan & IMS bearing $3,600. He made low wit remark about bad customer because I planned to write review. After all the drama and lies what did he expect. I hope Luis didn’t really lose his job as he never knew the details of this car, Jim did.

But you will get a great car at a great price from an honest dealer with great service who passes on the savings of low overhead to you. I bought a used BMW from Jim in July, and am extremely happy with the entire experience. When I bought the car it only came with one key, but a month later he found the second key and mailed it to me.
