So I waited 2 weeks to get a price, was told it was the starter( I had already taken the starter to him and it checked out ok), went to pick it up and it would not start! I had explained the problem was electrical when I brought it in, we discovered that it was issue with fuses being blown, he said he did not know where to start to discover
Awesome place but I dont care for the big dog in the customer waiting area some people dont like big dogs ok u know but other than that would recommend these people or crew to anyone ok they do great work and prices are reasonable also.
They really know what theyre doing! For a couple summers, I had issues with my mower stalling during service and not re-starting. They pinpointed it, fixed it at a reasonable price and now the kids can mow all day! Thanks!!
Excellent service. Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff. And most importantly is that they had the part I was looking for.
These guys are great. Honest as the week is long. Fair pricing, and great work.
Quick service. Helpful staff.
Very thorough and knows more about mowers than anyone I’ve used before. Frankly Gerry is a great guy and goes way beyond to get your equipment in top shape. Highly recommend.
Stay away!!!! Called Echo because my back pack blower was giving issues less than a year of purchasing it from Home Depot. Echo advised me to take it to North Cobb Mower. I called and they told me to bring it in but they’re running three weeks behind schedule. Not a problem, dropped it off. SIX WEEKS later I get a call that the blower is ready and it would be $90 and some change for a carb rebuilt on top of the $30 deposit. No phone call advising me that the repair aren’t cover under warranty and what the cost of the repair would be. They told me that they changed spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, which I advised them I just did right before dropping it off. It’s even on my receipt copy that they gave me. Would not recommend this place. Excuse after excuses on why it’s taken longer then three weeks. Having to pay wasn’t an issue. I’m in the automotive industry. I understand things may not be covered under warranty, but let our dealer make repairs without an approval and see how quick the dealer just fixed a customers vehicle for free.
I took my lawnmower to North Cobb Mower to get it serviced and told them I had not used it in two years. They told me they would put gas in it and see if it would run. They told me they required a $30 deposit to cover their expense for their effort and time in seeing what the mower needed. I was told it would need $185 ($155 with the $30 already given) of parts and labor to tune it up and get it running again. I said, “No thanks” and took the mower home, but not before the owner offered me my $30 back if I left the mower with him. I told him that I’d fix it myself and took the mower home. Two hours later, my neighbor put a splash of gas in the lawnmower’s gas tank and cranked the engine on the second pull. Think twice before you take your outdoor equipment to this place for servicing. I feel like I gave them $30 and they didn’t even touch my lawn mower.
Had an echo blower to be serviced which is there brand. I was told it would be ready in a week. After several calls and being put off I picked up my blower after a month. It has not been touched. Very unethical way to operate a business.
Went well good response on the service
Dont take your equipment here unless you like drama. I would give him no stars if I could because its that bad. Find a more professional outfit to give your hard earned money to.I hesitantly took my riding mower to this clown simply because I thought I could get it repaired faster than if I did it myself. I was told it wouldnt be ready for at least 2 weeks. Its summer, so I was okay with that and gave him 3 weeks...A month later my mower was still in the middle of a stack of orders. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was ask if I wanted to just take it then not repaired in a nasty tone. This guy obviously doesnt need the business if he is that disrespectful to a paying customer. I feel I was more than patient, and only wanted to be dealt with honestly. If he had told me it would take a month, I could have made the decision to leave it or take it somewhere else; I wasnt giving an option. It was obvious walking in the door he is not a good business person. I should have paid attention to my first impression..
Horrible. Went there to purchase a lawn mower couldnt get anyone to help or answer question. Called later given them a second chance. Gave no effort again to offer assistance in questions about purchasing lawnmower.
Do not use these people! They will rip you off! They don’t call, just make repairs without checking with you first and then charge more than it is worth! Acted like taking the mower deck off of our Cub Cadet was a big deal! Will never use them again and will never recommend them to anyone! $308.00 to replace a belt, which isn’t the reason we took it there! Reporting them to the Better Business Bureaus too!
This is absolutely the worst place I have ever tried to do business with. Took edger there on April 4 2020 and was told 2 weeks to repair. I just picked it up on May 15th and they had never even looked at it. These people have no clue how to run a business. Do not waste your time taking anything there!
If you want a family owned business to work on your mower equipment. This is the place to go they took care of my edge or while I waited and their prices Are very fair
There are a rip off. DO NOT USE. As others have stated, they do the work without informing you and charge a ridiculous price for parts. By the time they call you, theyve already done with the work and youre stuck with the bill.
For the 5th year in a row Ive needed Jerry and Dalton for repairs. They are always honest and helpful. I bought 1 new Echo trimmer last year from them and just upgraded my old Echo edger for a new one. I will be winterizing with North Cobb Mower to get years more of service from my equipment. I highly recommend these guys for the hometown touch.
I enjoyed my visit here. Good people and very professional. I would let them work on all my lawn care needs.
These guys do good work at a fair price. They fix all my mowers and blowers. They even fixed my little Honda generator.
Been doing business here for years and Jerry and Dalton will take great care of you. The fellas at North Cobb Mower are as honest as the day is long and now days thats hard to find!
Promised one week. Took 2+ weeks. Tried to charge for a part I just replaced myself. Didnt return phone calls. Repair ticket said to sharpen. When I told them I was coming to pick up mower they asked if I wanted it sharpened. Most expensive repair ever. Second time there. Got a little testy when I picked up mower. 2 bad experiences. DONT GO THERE!!!!. There are reputable mower repair shops nearby. These people dont deserve your business. (NO stars)
Not a bad experience..hut not a great one....I had mentioned a few things that I wanted done and a few I wanted looked at. But then there were a few other things that needed to be replaced....small things ...but things that cost extra money for parts and labor. I was not notified of these things...they were just done. I expected my total to be one number based on the info when I dropped it off and it was significantly more when I paid and picked it up.Employees are nice...very typical small repair shop ...It took 2 weeks for them to even start working on my mower....so if you need something done quick this is not the place.Again...nothing to terrible to say ...but nothing that makes me say WOW...take your stuff here to be worked on.
Young. Determined. Hardworking guy doing full service mowers trimmers etc. Hes even doing sales and service/repair. Nice guy. Scooby doo his dog is there too.
Helpful knowledgeable staff
If I could write a zero, I would. These people never answer the phone and do not allow you to communicate with them regarding what is wrong and how you would like to proceed. Bottom line they replaced things on my lawnmower that I had already replaced and charged me more than the lawnmower was worth. Dont go there!!
Came in to get my mower repaired...guy stated it would take at least 2 weeks for him to get around to it...mind you this was on a Saturday and were about to close so he was obviously trying to get rid of me also he looked inebriated while blowing cigarette smoke in my face. Very Unprofessional!!!I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy and if I could give Zero stars its still alot for this joke of a business...good luck with your business because you lost mine
We needed a push mower. He had just the one. It works great.
They are wonderful and have wonderful people working there
Great knowledge on all the parts and good service
Horrible Customer service, I requested a call before they did any work with the cost of the repairs instead they never did just overcharged for a tune up They also ordered a air filter cover for me and said it would be there in the next few days it has been 3 weeks and Im not received a call.
Great service and honest advice.
Grear customer service....
Good Folks
