Blizzard good. Has improved since 5yrs ago. The white male cashier could use work on his hygiene and professional appearance also both could use work on customer service

I don’t normally go out of my way to steer people away from an establishment. But my experience here was straight up dank. u2028u2028It took forever for the employees to come to the counter to take my order. Which is fine. Things happen. The employee who did eventually take my order didn’t know how to make the thing I ordered. Which is also fine I guess. The employees were loudly complaining about having to be at work, saying things like “I don’t want to be here so bad I could literally throw up right now”, “At the end of my next break, I’m just leaving,” and “Can we just close an hour early? who cares”. She eventually handed me my order, completely melted, and literally wrapped in latex gloves (??).u2028u2028The floors were super slippery. Like dangerous amounts. I’m fine on slippery floors, but a 70+year-old could have fallen very easily. The signs encouraging people to review the establishment and consider seeking a job there had blatant typos. The whole experience was big yikes. Also, everything (everything) is sticky. Except the floor. Maybe even out the slippery-to-sticky ratio.

Nice place even though the gas station its attached to seems a bit sketchy. Food was good, staff was pleasant. They did flip the blizzard. No issues outside the weird vibes of the store itself.

The gas and the Dairy Queen are rwdiculously over priced!! PRICE GOUGING like MAD!! Gas was $4.00 per gallon for REGULAR UNLEADED... A far cry from PREMIUM!! And the ice cream, a small cone and a mini blizzard was over $6.00!! WTH?? I will NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!!!

These people are rude!! I recommend a different location!!! They all have an attitude, talking bad about other workers (pretty sad if you ask me), and they make only one person clean and do all the work while they just sit there talking about the employee. The world has changed a lot, ruder people. Their place is a complete mess when I visited yesterday. Only one good employee, haven’t seen much of the employee anymore. All they do is cuss and no mask while making anything and barely anyone wears gloves. Overall terrible place. GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER!!!!!

A lot of flies from doors being open and tables not wiped down at the time, but service and ice cream was good.

No drive thru. Standing in line goes the wrong way. Too few people working. They don’t even speak to you are the register, just a blank stare. No receipt offered. No “thank you”. Didn’t even turn the blizzard upside down.

We always make a stop here whenever we are in Acworth. And they have the cool DQ monster truck here.

Short staffed, they did the best they could. Food was ok, appeared thrown together. I would recommend though.

I give this place a 2 because of the cleanliness. It is inside a gas station and the whole place just looks dirty. The cleaning rag she was using looked like it just smeared dirty ice cream water all over the countertops. They need to do better than that. Clean your cleaning rags.

Went here to get the 4 piece chicken tender meal. The guy taking the orders didnt seem to know what he was doing. I had to repeat my order 5 times for him to get it entered right. None of the employees were wearing masks and only one person was wearing gloves for handling food but he touched everything with them so he might as well shouldve been bare handed. One employee was playing on his phone the whole time. Then they seemed to forget about me. A few people ordered after me and got their order before me. One of them ordered the same thing I did. The food was good but very poor customer service.

Quick service and very clean. The ice cream was great and the customer service was 10/10. I will definitely be back I prefer this location over the Kennesaw one.

No working restrooms and the staff wasnt the friendliest. I left and didnt purchase anything because of those things.

The blizzards was great along with the amazing peanut butter milkshake.

I purchased a brownie & oreo cupfection. The lady filled the cup with ice cream and dumped everything on top. The last time I purchased this product at another location, everything was mixed in like they do for a blizzard. Then topped with oreo. Its a whole lot better that way. Staff training?????

They have a sign saying if you emwritebq review you get free stuf so here I am. Having said they they are cool so thats a bonus

FYI this is a location inside a gas station.Waited almost 15 minutes for two meals & soda machine was out of Co2 so all drinks were flat. Food was made wrong as well as was not very good almost like it had been microwaved.Would not visit this location again.

Funny, you never know when a place is going to surprise you with their customer service and humanity. From the quick lunch service with custom authentic Hispanic food, to the traditional shakes and Orange Julius fare; couple this with the uplifting music piping through, I always smile when I stop and gas up. Give them a try!

These young kids did an excellent job with getting not only mine but every body’s food and dessert out! There were some rude customers but the person on the register handled the situations very professionally. This is my first time to this location and I really think this place is great!! Of the Dairy Queens Ive been to, the Acworth Dairy Queen on Cowan Road is the best, hands down! And theyre open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm every day. I love my peanut buster parfait with added peanut butter sauce, and nobody can make it like them!

The girls that work here did not have masks,Gloves, or had their hair pulled back. Excessively long nails which touched our ice cream. It was extremely unsanitary. They gave us attitudes when we asked for new spoons because they touched them with their bare hands and set them down on the counter. Their bare hands also touched the ice cream and they did not wash their hands with soap or anything. The blizzards were not great. Just plain ice cream and were not made correctly. Highly unsatisfied

Dont go here, the 14 year olds running it are too stupid to operate a machine that only requires you to pull a lever.

Worst DQ ever been to. Drinks not made right and food was old and reheated. AVOID THIS PLACE.

The chick didnt have her mask anywhere in site and had all her buddies up there crowding the small entry and exit of DQ. She wasnt inviting it was like it was bothering her and interrupting. Smh. Wont be back.

High Prices AND No MaskThe DQ prices are almost ¼ more than what you pay at other DQs. Peanut Buster Parfaits are usually around $4. I coughed up more than $5. They also were charging about a $1 more for gasoline ($2 at most places; they were charging $3).What was most discouraging is that the young lady serving me wore no mask. She let customers come in without a mask. You can see that they dont care about the mask issue with as many complaints as they are getting here on this forum!I guess since they are right off I-75 they can get away with gouging the customer and defying state rules.

Food was under cooked chez curds were cold the place was dirty

First of all I go to this place and they dont sell burgers.... Second it was around 8 and they told me they didnt sell hot dogs after lunch..... Okay cool thats fine I ordered 6 count honey BBQ dips chicken tenders...... I waited for 27 minutes to get regular chicken strips and the lady told me that theyre better this way just use the barbecue dipping sauce

NO MASKS!!! I work for Doordash and literally every time I pick something up from here absolutely NO ONE is wearing gloves or masks. DISGUSTING.

Horrible service, cashier does everything does not know menu and has no mask on when making your food. Food tasted bad got money back, done with that branch for good very disappointing.

These folks are super nice people but I cant help but notice that every time Ive visited, the cleanliness of the preparation area for the ice cream treats is not quite well-managed. Perhaps its because theyre so busy but Ive actually worked fast food. I saw a lot of opportunities to clean that were missed.

Not the regular blizzard Im used to. They use soft serv ice cream and blend toppings, it was melting before I reached the door. The staff did not wear mask protection😷😞👎

Stopped so my wife could get a snickers blizzard. They dont have german chocolate so I tried the turtle pecan. Except for missing coconut it was my german chocolate, wonderful! I have a hard time swallowing, but I managed to get down every bite.

Used a spoon to dip my cone. Cone cried as I ate it in the car from all the leaks.

This was so bad! Waited 30 minutes with 1 person in front on me and workers had no clue what they were doing.

Worst location ever. I had not been to this location since the fire and the quarantine period. I thought I’d give it a try going into the store vs. using a drive-thru (there’s no drive-thru at this location). It was a horrible experience from the customer service (lazy/apathetic and very slow to make the order) to the store cleanliness (flies were all around and it was not well kept...The kitchen area where they prepare food). Last, but not least... NO ONE IN THIS LOCATION WEARS A MASK. And I’m quite certain there’s no one checking for hand washing etc. The owner or manager needs to care a heck of a lot more and visit to check on service and cleanliness more often (I would suspect they do not visit often). I clearly do not recommend this location. Very sad to see this happen to a restaurant whom many would visit if it were better run.

Was really short on time and find out this little nice, clean location on a gas station. Crew are awesome. Limited menu but everything they have was great. They have a small seating section inside the gas station.

In the Dairy Queen App you select a location and it provides coupons. At this location, the staff has no idea how to process these coupons. Only the manger can do that. The young black female working on the night of January 11, 2020 at 6:30pm was the rudest, nastiest individual I have met in a very long time. Stay as far away from this location as you can. 0 stars was not an option for this review!

Easily the worst Dairy Queen Ive been in. The staff is incredibly slow and forgetful and is run by a single family. They let a ten-year-old run the cash register for some reason, and have family talks in the table while there is a line of people waiting. Numerous times they have forgotten my order completely and made me stand there for more than 15 minutes. There are far better places to get ice cream than this place. Dont waste your time especially if youre in a hurry.

The inside of this gas station location, is 10x better after the fire they had. So much cleaner looking (for now, I hope they keep it up)I wish they had put a drive thru in though, they would make 100x more business, however based off the gas pricing they do not care about making money.

The staff was friendly. I cant rate if the food was good or not. We were disappointed and choose not to eat the when we were informed the didnt sell burgers. Its been awhile since Ive been to a Dairy Queen, but I almost positive they use to do burgers right??. If your in the mood for a chicken sandwich go give it a try and let me know how it is. Im sure the icecream is spot on.
