The best ice cream in the world, I know the owner and I love the staff but I do have to give 4 stars because its EXPENSIVE AS HELL. If you have a family of five, JUST ICE CREAM will be close to $50. The food is amazing but again super expensive, my friend had 2 of her kids with us plus her husband. Her total was a little over $70. One of her kids didnt even get ice cream. BUT its the most amazing ice cream so I definitely recommend it but prepare ahead of time by bringing a good amount of money and knowing how expensive it is prior to going there makes it a little better.

Local and cute spot. Food is amazing. Seafood is fresh. Ice cream is home made. Friendly service. Quick service. Beautiful area. Outside and inside seating. Inside is a waiter service outside is self service window. Dogs are allowed outside. And they have a pup cup 🐕🍦

Out and about on day two of my vacation. I had lunch with my older brother at this place. Set out in Acushnet on a country road, outside dining along with beautiful weather made for a decent lunch. I had the cacoila sandwich along with the coffee frappe and fries. I decided to get a side order of clam cakes and that was a mistake. They ended up being pretty much just deep fried bread balls, very dry and no evidence of clams whatsoever. That is inexcusable. Overall not bad had the clams cakes been up to par I would have given the place of 5.

My ice cream was good, we had 2small soft served cones. The only thing was the price. 10.00 for 2 small cones.well 9.00and change left the rest for a tip.

Great food and ice cream. Only been a couple times but everything has been great. Fast service, well laid out lines and tape during Covid. There are a few tables you can sit and eat at around the parking lot. The two small lots are tight. Be careful.

Paid $20 for a pint of whole belly fried classic. Worst Ive had in my 71 years on this planet. wasnt the price but the quality of the clams almost no bellies mostly batter and little else.

Awesome place! Ordered there today. Smooth and easy. Got an order number and was told to text the number on the sign when we arrived. Pulled up, 6 foot pink signs with the number to text. 2 minutes later our order was in the window. They have a great system that others should consider adopting. It really couldnt have been easier and the food was phenomenal. Fried (giant) shrimp plate, clam cakes and chowder, quahog, burger and hot dog for the kids, all the best around. Line was busy when we tried to call at first, but we just kept trying until it went through. Its worth it!

For years I have been going there and never an issue with using my debit card. The person at the counter would take money out the ATM for us that you had inside your establishment. Well surprise, after waiting in line for over 40 minutes get to the window and no an option any more. How can you not take cards in 2020? Get with the times and take debit or credit, especially with everything going on!!! It fine go down the street where they take cards from now on..

Ive been going to the whip my whole life. I can honestly say they have the best ice cream around. The food is good too. Family friendly. Service is fast. There may be a long line but its worth the wait. Never really that long of a wait though. Very much recommend this place.

I feel this place is a local gem. Nice Country Place with nice people that work there. Theyre only open the warmer months of the year. Im looking forward to getting that seafood platter and other things, next summer. The seafood all comes from about 10 Mi away. You cant get any better than that. The ice cream is also a locally-made product. Its also a place that realizes if youre spending $5 for a large dish of ice cream it better be a good size overflowing dish. I can buy a half gallon or more for that. So they make it worth your while to go there and get a good product. I think theyre sign in the parking lot says it all when it says something like, we know you can choose to go elsewhere but we appreciate you coming here, something to that effect. I cant wait for it to open in the spring.

The only place I will go for ice cream, especially soft serve. But this place is so much more. It’s a local gem. Delicious food, friendly staff, quick service and feels like home every time. They know so many of their customers by name and that is a true testament to the legacy they’ve created. Amanda holds herself and her staff to a high standard and it shows.

Lots of people but the line moved right along. Everyone was social distancing and all the customers had masks on. It was nice to go to a public place and see everyone cooperating and being friendly.

They are the only ice cream shop that serves soft serve coffee/raspberry twist ice cream and its my favorite 😋

Food is homemade. Soft serve Ice cream is so smooth and a small is like a medium at other places. Plus there is a farm stand near by that sells yummy Apples, peaches, tomatoes and local honey in the fall.

This place is a local landmark. Great ice cream, great food for ar least 50 y.

Well aware that you have to order ahead because of the virus but Ive been trying to call for over an hour and all I get is the busy signal. Then I attempted to call the pick up number since there was no way to get through and the lady on the other line gave me a bit of an attitude and said you just have to keep trying because we wont take order on this number. Disappointed.

I saw a post on Facebook with a photo of Cherry Blossom ice cream. I love cherries, unfortunately it was a special and it wasnt available tonight. I opted for a waffle cone w strawberry cheesecake ice cream It was huge! My friend ordered an extra thick shake which she said was very good. Parking is a little crazy. Its 15 minutes from home, so Ill be back.

This is the best place for a little bit of everything but especially for ice cream. Soft serve is the best anywhere in the 25 mile radius and the hard ice cream is also top notch with a huge variety of both. Great place for lunch and an easy dinner also. Summer time is sometimes insanely busy but they try hard to get everyone served in a timely manner unlike the other ice cream place up the street! Limited parking is probably the only downside but hasnt stopped me yet from going there for the past 10 years.

The Ice Cream is out of this world and the prices are from back in the 80s. Lol so it seems. There portions are huge and I would definitely recommend to any to bring the kids here very kids friendly and even adult tipsy ice cream as well. Give them a try you wont regret it. Country Whip is our FAVORITE go to ice cream place in the area. My family members LOVE their waffle cones and have labeled them the best theyve ever had anywhere. We love the country setting, and the service is ALWAYS prompt and the staff friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoy the taste of their ice cream and the MANY flavors they offer, as well as the price and generous sizes they offer. Monthly special flavors are also a tantalizing treat, causing us to switch from our normal favorites of Coffee, Oreo, and Campfire Smores. My ultimate favorite is Caramel Peanut Butter Cookie Dough. I highly recommend Country Whip as one of THE BEST in the area!

Great ice cream and lots of food items as well. They have outside picnic tables and small outside covered area as well. They also have dine in with a few tables. Nothing fancy, just a good atmosphere. They take debit cards but its an easier process if you use cash there.

The ice cream here is delicious. The servers were quick and funny. I was sad their kitchen was shut down when we went, but we got there around 30 minutes before they closed, so I understood. Maybe Ill get to try their food next year when Im in the area and bump my review up to 5 stars! Its already at 4 due to the ice cream and service.

Awesome little ice cream shop with lots of choices. You can get regular or soft serve ice cream here. There is also plenty of food choices and everything is fairly priced. I ordered fries which came out very good.
