ShopRite has been a great grocery chain for years. Prices on some essentials like milk, eggs, and some frozen items has always been a bit high though. They do offer coupons on their app/website and double coupons up to $1 value; if youre spending at least $25, if you dip under $25 theyre no longer doubled. Youll also find some tasty items here that you wont find elsewhere. Get some crab dip from the seafood section. You wont regret it!
Its sad been going here for years with no problem. Now they put in a kiosk for the deli which is about the dumbest thing. Im very disappointed with the deli department. You are the one paying for the stuff from them you should get it the way you want it not the way someone else cuts it. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. You all fell short and Im taking my business to WEGMANS FOR NOW ON.
Ive always gone to your store and loved it no complaints until now. My last 3 visits have been a real hassle. They put a Kiosk System in the Deli and its a real nightmare. The first visit I waited for 45 minutes after the expected time for my order to be ready and I finally left without my order. My second visit a week later I tried again 25 minutes after the expected timeI finally got my order. The cheese was so thick it wasnt worth eating. Im here today trying again its now 25 minutes past my expected wait time and you guessed it Im still waiting Apparently the Kiosk System isnt working to help the customers get in and out in a timely manner there has got to be a better way Shoprite. Either more people in the Deli or separate in store customers orders from online orders in the ordering process.
The only reason I come here is for the Boars Head lunch meat. They are always moving everything around and no matter when I come they are out of several items. Only a few of the employees are helpful; most act as if they wish they could be anywhere else. The prices are not great either.
The store is ridiculous for having one way on and one way out. The store needs to be shut down because it is a hazard. I will not shop there because it is a fire hazard

I have had several negative experiences at this shoprite. Today is my daughters birthday. I went to get a cake for tomorrow pick up. Bakery lady was very nasty and walked away instead of helping. I feel like people of color are treated differently at this location. I will spend my money elsewhere.
Really dirty compared to the other shoprites in the area. Bathrooms are gross. A lot of the bottom rung employees are really friendly but the managers not so much.

For some reason I keep getting turned around. As the application starts itn the middle of my trip it starts telling me to make a u turn or the little car is in a street I am not traveling on. Not sure why. I have calibrated several times. Good thing I have a second ohone that maps works fine on or I would be lost.
Turned around and walked out today. Their mask policy is not in compliance with either the governors order or CDC guidelines. All they are doing is discouraging vaccination by requiring masks. Wake up people. Shop where you have freedom.

They need to coach their cashiers on their customer service skills! They have some younger cashiers that dont know how to greet or say have a nice day! Goes a long way when youre spending at least $180 in groceries a week. They definitely need to do some power washing outside as well since the sidewalk and entrance to the store is nasty!
Messy store, customers are rude. The Pharmacy staff are very friendly and helpful. Always in a great mood and very, very helpful. They are the reason I even go to Kleins anymore.

Ive been shopping at Kleins ShopRite for over 25 years. The stores are clean. Theres always an amazing selection of organic and specialty items. Lately, Ive been using the shop from home service (past 7 weeks). The service and selection have been outstanding.
I dont shop at this location often due to the parking lot in the shopping center. Was very happy with this visit. Friendly staff, well stocked and quick checkout.
We had a birthday cake made for our daughters 16th birthday party. We wanted it to be tye die and the decorator named Bonnie had never done that before. Well folks she nocked it out of the park!!! We couldnt be happier with the way her cake turned out. Thank you so much Mrs. Bonnie, you made a young lady very happy. Mrs. Bonnie did tell us that she doesnt usually work at the Aberdeen location so if this could somehow make it to her main location I would be grateful.
Second McDonalds in 2 day not impressed
The employees are the rudest out of any grocery chain in the county. I went there this afternoon and this older guy in the seafood department was just standing there not asking if I needed help with anything and then he proceeded to roll his eyes as he was walking over to the seafood counter. The managers at the store didn’t even bother to take my complaint seriously even though the guy in the seafood department appeared to be drunk.
This is a nice location in a busy center. There is plenty of parking and the store is roomy and large. Customer Service was helpful. There was a seafood sale the day I was there and there was a large variety . The meat department was busy. There is a small sitting area near the deli. The bakery wasnt extensive but there was a good variety. You definitely want a customer card to access the sales.
Nice that they have a register for seniors. No wait at all!

This location is good when you just wanted to go in and put of the store. But when you needed help? You become an inconvenience to them. I wanted to buy lobsters but they didnt have any. I ask the lady in that counter if she could call other store. She smirk and said Im busy then, walk off. I left unhappy of the way the customers service I get.

Watch the deli section. My wife was given runs salad instead of chicken salad. She realized the mistake yesterday evening and called. The deli was closed by then and she spoke to Kyrae (sp?) who was very apologetic and said she would leave a note the next day. We changed our dinner plans, but accidents happen. I would just go in the morning to fix it.This morning I went in to exchange the tuna salad for the chicken salad. The man at the counter did not seem to know what I was talking about. He offered no apology, just complaints that I took the last of the chicken salad. Her gave me the equivalent amount, but it was less than what my wife paid for the previous day.

Shop Rite is probably my favorite chain grocery store - unfortunately none are close to me. I will drive the extra distance to take advantage of their CAN-CAN Sale. I think they have their Can- Can sale twice a year - you will save money!! Watch their sales flyer which you can see on-line. Im sure you will find many great money saving sales. Some coupons you have to go to customer service to get which is inconvenient to have to get in another line for in store coupons.

The quality and selection at this location is pretty poor compared to other ShopRite stores. I would rather drive farther to a better grocery store.
Not my favorite store but ok. The only issue I have is the busyness due to the couponers.UPDATE: We were here over the weekend and the deli has switched over to order by computer screen. As l started my order, an employee came from behind the deli counter asking if l needed help; As l was trying to tell her l was good, she yanked the front of my cart( Im guessing it was in her way) and got really close to me as she showed me a list of about 20 meats they were out of. She was very unpleasant and rude. Shop rite needs to train their employees to be more courteous and professional. Also, be aware of how close they get to a customer; she was right up in my face. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.
I love this store the staff are so sweet and they have amazing food and so many items to buy and they have my favorite food there at a good price and at other stores it so expensive
ShopRite is competitive with other stores in the area and is involved in the community, which is becoming more rare. The store is usually well-stocked and clean. Services such as the bakery, deli, butcher, and seafood are better than most in the area. We found several sale items out of stock, but rain checks are usually not a problem.

This ShopRite does seem to be a bit more on the pricey side, but it is very accessible to quite a few folks who live in the surrounding communities. Its relatively clean and their produce (not great, not bad) is what you would expect from a mid sized typical suburban grocery store.If youre looking for a diverse selection of non-traditional foods this isnt the place to go. The staff are generally polite, but it looks like theyre being phased out for self service options.
I stopped by Shoprite in Beards Hill Plaza to pick up some salmon and organic bananas. It was about 8:30 pm so the store wasnt very crowded and parking was ample. The sales associate gentleman at the fish counter was super helpful to both me and the customer before me. He asked if I had a preference from the available salmon pieces. Packaged it up quickly and nicely and off I went to check out. There were 3 or 4 registers open which was ample for the customers checking out. The young lady sales associate who rung up my my products was helpful and polite as well. She was quick and efficient without being reckless with my groceries and those of the customer before me. In addition to the salmon I also purchased organic bananas. Great overall shopping experience
I have shopped at several Shop Rites within 7 miles of my home. The Aberdeen location is best for me. Parking is easier. The store usually has everything I need and then some. All employees that Ive had interaction with have been very courteous and helpful. Prices are reasonable and coupons are beneficial for my limited budget. Other customers in the store are also polite. I would highly recommend this store and location.

We went to this store the day before New Years Eve and reserved six lobsters for our New Years Eve dinner. We told the seafood representative that we would come at 4:30pm on New Years Eve to pick up the lobsters. We came at 4:30 on New Years Eve to collect the lobsters and they never processed the order. The same representative we talked to the day before was working and said oh yeah it never made it to the book. The order never made it to the book the day before when the store was not very busy, we were the only ones in the seafood section. Be careful when ordering things at this location, as the order might not make it to the book even on slower days at slower times.
Needed more of item that was on sale, & without hesitation, young lady found someone to assist & go in the back to look to see if he could find more. Very satisfied!

I love everything about the store. They have fresh food, hot food, canned food. They also have seafood, crabs. The staff is very nice and knows where everything is in the store. They also have bathrooms that clean, and Maryland Lottery tickets are sold there. The registers are always open and even on busy days there is not wait because the cashiers work so fast.
What can I say I love the store. Their coupon policy is top-notch they offer incredible deals, the store is very clean with lots to choose from, staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The only downfall is if youre coming from the north at all, you have to pay $8 toll to follow highway home. Hopefully you know some backwards home.
This shop rite is the worst I have been to in the whole county. It’s a shame it is now the closest one to where I live. I have bought no less than 5 different dairy or frozen food items that expired 6 plus months ago over the course of a year here. What kind of grocery keeps 7 month old dairy products directly in the front on their shelves? Disgusting. This is the third time complaining to the manager who has clearly done nothing about it. I advise you to go elsewhere with your business, but if you do decide to take your chances here check the expiration dates. The store itself does not care about selling bad food to its consumers.

Management, cashiers and stockers are very rude to people. I have seen people complain about product and being over charged but by time the management and their employees bully the person their was no winning. I was charged 80 dollars for a lb of ham. Didnt notices rite away till I ate a sandwich and still had all of the fixings out looking down I was like wow thats why my total was so high. Come to find out the lady in the deli charge me for the hole bulk of ham. So mind your total on you recite and make sure management and their employees dont bully you to make you weak and let them win.They will bully you all the way outside than ask you now what are you going to do about it.
I rather die of starvation than buy from this company. Employees are good, but rules and policies for returns are terrible. Walmart and Wegmans are the go to stores for me. Very high levels of customer service at both.

Nothing special, prices are pretty high for it to be a regular grocery store. You have to go through too much trouble to get a rain check. The cashiers dont have a personality, although a few of them are friendly. The bathroom was a little creepy looking. It wasnt filthy but there were spots of water all over the floor. I honestly didnt care, I had to go very badly and I knew I wouldnt be able to make it home. This store is just okay, Im not in love with the place. I guess its nice if you need something local.***Update***I was here on 10/17/20. This store was insanely crowded! I know it was a Saturday but I was not expecting that. There seems to be no regard for safety anymore - customers walking around with the mask under their nose, zero physical distancing, and theres no longer arrows on the floor in the aisles. Having to duck and dodge folks, constantly looking over your shoulder to make sure someone isnt standing too close, it gets exhausting. If youre a senior or have health issues, do not come here on the weekend! Peace out and stay safe ✌😷

Nice grocery store with competitive prices. My family currently shops here almost exclusively and we find the pricing very competitive as well as a nice added feature of the store being the fish guy selling fresh fish from the seafood section on certain days (the exact days escape my memory). The cashiers are fast and friendly and parking is ample even though the store is usually very busy.
One of the best shopping stores in Harford County
This place is clean and the staff is extremely nice. The prices are always low. The seasonal stuff is great and in season. I ordered from the deli and although it took a while, my order came out perfect. When I got home it tasted fresh and delicious. Their fruit and vegetables are fresh 10 out of 10 times. The meat in the back was well priced and came out amazing. Its hard to get 200 characters when youre not complaining. I give this place five stars everytime Im in here. They have a red box. They have maryland stuff like mats and shirts and socks. Maryland grilling stuff. One of the few super markets with magazines and books.
Decent shoprite. Clean. Staff was very nice. They had what we were looking for. Checkouts are slower then were used to, but again staff was really nice.They also have mini carts for kids to shop :)
