I would love to give Rock Construction 5 stars...really I would. When we first had Tom come out, he was nice, personable, and said there were many areas in which they are licensed. We needed some work done on a gas fireplace (which he did) However after the work was done, there was a distinct smell of propane. He did come back out, tested it, and said the smell just needs the opportunity to burn off. Made sense to us, as there were many new parts, including a new valve. On several occasions we opened all the windows and let it burn for a couple of hours. It has now burned for at least 8 hours, and the smell is still there. We have called Tom on 3 different occasions to see if he would come back out and just check...but we cannot get him to return our calls. Someone told us that once they get paid, you will never hear back. That is proving to be true. We are going to call Brett at Propane Etc, who always provides great service. For other jobs that we had planned on using Rock Construction for (window replacement, roof repair) we are going to go with Richard Rolff of Distinctive Woodcraft out of Elma, who is very quick to respond to our calls, and we have been happy with is work thus far. If Rock Construction were to read this review and show the courtesy of returning our calls, I would give a better review.UPDATE: 6/24/2016 LOWERED MY RATING TO ONE STAR. We had Amerigas come out and look for a leak. They found it immediately at one of the connectors that Rock Construction installed. Had it fixed in a matter of minutes. This leak was a danger to the occupants, and Rock Construction ignored our calls. Shame on them!

Long delays too many faults which they wouldnt put right. Failed to pay sub contractor leaving us with$1500 bill. Failed to get building permits so extension has to be completely removed

June is very knowledgable and was able to help us decide on a fireplace insert.

A great place for all your construction needs

Hired them back in Augustes, and they have yet to show up to do the job. Poor service, and no follow through.
