So incredibly rude! I couldnt believe it when I visited for the first time, in a long time, how many announcements they made in the hour before closing. Even worse, they literally threatened customers with being forbidden to buy your groceries if you werent complete by that time. An associate even followed us and told us in person about closing time, when we still had 10 minutes. It suits my schedule that the store is open until 11:00pm every night, but what in the world? Do the same people have to open the store early the next morning?! I distinctly felt like they were doing me a favor by taking my money from me -- Jeez!

Pretty good.. not bad for a 1st time.., but I believe servers should be more informed about what is available.

I was trying to get to customer service and the line was really long I was standing there for 30 min and the line was not moving, asked a supervisor for help supervisor had bad attitude. Poor service, bad attitude from employees. They need to hire more people with better training 😒

Employees at customer service desk highly incompetent regarding company return policies. They have a tendency to guess or make up their own rules. Each employee at the desk seems to have their own “style” of receiving returns. Most of the Staff tend to have the personality of a brick wall, and stock is very low in a lot of places. Overall a hassle, and will be avoiding this location for the foreseeable future.

Worse Walmart ever to shop at. One cashier and 20 people in line. Management just walks by, looks at people and makes no attempt to open other registers. I’ve been standing in line for 30 minutes, and still have 3 in front of me with full baskets. And if you think I’ll use the self check out, hell no, I’m not on your payroll.!! I’m helping to keep people employed by using a real person to check out.!

This Wal-Mart is a great place to shop. There is a nice selection of fresh produce and everything is always neat and tidy. The whole store seems to be kept in very good condition, including the restrooms. Most of the staff is very friendly and willing to help if needed. Abbeville Walmart is not as large as others in the area but it seems to keep up well. The only thing that would make it better would be more shade in the parking lot. But then again, I am not sure that any Walmart’s have shady parking lots.

Always love shopping at local Walmart too much to see because workers always filling shelves, and most of them are very nice.

I shop at Walmart just about everyday. I can honestly say that they have the best prices of any store. They are very rarely out of the things I need. Even through this rough patch of COVID, they have not wavered.

The electric department employee helped me find what I needed fast and took me directly to where I needed to go.

Some of the laziest customers around. Shopping carts blocking parking spots. I personally moved 8 carts so I could park.

They had most of what I went for. However there is a new gate at the front doors that are supposed to stop walk-offs but I believe that these will only prevent a few. They are automatic gates that only open inward.Edit 12/9/19: While visiting the deli today, I had very pleasant interactions with Zony. She sliced the ham very well & is the epitome of courtesy~!!! She is an extremely kind worker~!!!

Need to fix self check out from card only to cash and card. Makes it very easy to check out when it excepts both cash and card for when you have a few items.

Clean and always good finds

A complete mess. Bloody tampons over filling trash. This is a constant with the front bathroom not just because of convid-19 its an all year round thing. Finding staff to help is difficultI have had many problems with this store in the past and usually will go to Neighborhood or Broussard Walmart when possible.

I shop the Abbeville store due to the staff are courteous and helpful compared to other Walmart stores in the area

Had an oil change in record time and given 5 price options from $29 to $89. 5 Stars

This Walmart is nothing but a bunch of crooks. They mixed some paint for me which turned out to be the wrong color and they will not give me a refund or the right color So now im stuck with some paint that I cant even use. Do not trust Walmart when it comes to matching paint.

There should be more check out lanes where the employees check you out instead of us checking out our own groceries. We dont get paid to do that and it doesnt stop the prices from going up and up.

They need to find a better way to cash checks and add money to cards with new technology.

Walmart the super center that has everything you need or want, has adapted to the well-being of its clients by monitoring capacity of patrins, providing hand sanitizers at numerous locations throughout the store and making anouncements during the day reminding customers of distancing, waring mask, proper sneezing and coughing technicss. And all the while providing the same clean and well stocked wide range of items that customers are used to. A good expereance no matter what the occasion

Walmart is a good place to get pretty much everything you need. I said PRETTY much. Walmart doesnt have every single thing. But, they are pretty good. I should know. I work there. The best one by far is the Abbeville one. Just saying.

Nice attendant at the self-checkout.i have never used the self checkout, i guess i could have, but i felt I shouldnt HAVE too. And for a while, there was a combination of both self-checkout and employee checkout at the register. during my last visit, im almost certain that its all self-check out. I personally dont agree with it. based on the previous trend of this service, it was always a service. Thus, if i have to gear up mentally and fret that i may jumble the whole process (put it on the scale, dont put it on the scale, put it back on the scale) and then bag my own purchased items, I would expect a reduction in the total cost reflected as a percentage off, for having to physically perform a duty that was once a service. at the beginning of this review I mentioned a nice attendant at the self-check out. I didnt get her name but when she saw my hesitation regarding the self-checkout she didnt stutter step me to death by allowing me to get partially into it, give me corrective instruction, allow me to go a little further, give me corrective instruction..............nope, she stood there the whole time, made the event pleasant and walked me thru the entire process. I appreciated her taking the time to do so and allowing me to save face in the public, by not looking stupid in something i didnt know how to do, dont want to do and shouldnt HAVE to do.

It was very aggravating. People were waiting in line and they were closing down registers. It took me 30 minutes to check out. They even had the speedy lane closed. Those with a few items had to wait behind those with full baskets!!!!

Wal-Mart has always been my go to store but I have become very disappointed with this store. That day I went to check out & they only one register open with a cashier, with a line of 4 people ahead of me & about 5 behind me. Self check out was opened but I refuse to use them for these reasons. 1- I am not an employee, 2- this is just another way of eliminating jobs,3- I am not comfortable with self check out. If this trend continues I will be shopping else where.

I do not have to go around town to shop. I can get all my shopping done in one place.

There arent many options around here so beggars cant be choosers but holy hell this place is a trial. Its so hard to find things in the places youd expect them to be! The store layout is super challenging. Maybe if I got used to it, itd be ok?
